Alaskan fisherman's giddy reaction to a breaching pod of humpback whales.

Sure we may have more than our fair share of crazy people. but on the other hand...look whales!

That is so freakin' cool! You NEVER forget something like that. We took an eco tour of Catalina Island with our kids one summer and had the pleasure of seeing HUNDREDS of dolphins migrating. The traveled with our boat for 30 minutes. Lots of babies too.

  6. Awesome! I remember being accompanied by about 50 dolphins while in our 23 foot fishing boat off the coast of SoCal. Even more vivid memory of a pod of orca whales playing around our little 12 foot panga in the Sea of Cortez off the Baja coast!

I love it. Pretty difficult to top that! We have sharks and dolphins, but nothing as majestic as whales.

That was so cool! On my cruise to Alaska we saw several whales breach, but not so many at one time. And they formed a circle. Do they do that all the time? The guy filming is so funny; he'll never forget this trip.
