DeleteI agree. I've known those who come from horrible family life and were able to turn their life into something inspirational. They had their own challenges and limitations. They were blessed with an inner core that was not toxic like their parents and escaped the entanglements. Plus they did not have the greed factor Bristol is attached to.
Bristol is trapped due to her own choices and mistakes. Even with a 65 to 85 IQ she could have an open and good heart.
It would have made all the difference.
She is a hypocrite, but that's about it. She may not be the greatest mother, but as far as we can tell, Tripp is adequately nurtured. If Bristol were a criminal or deviant, I expect it would make the news.
ReplyDeleteIn spite of everything, I feel sorry for her. Imagine growing up with parents like hers. They don't value education, or model desirable qualities like honesty and good work ethics. Probably Bristol wasn't even read to as a child.
In his book about Sarah, Joe McGinniss described a scene which was related to him by a Palin family member or friend. This person allegedly came into the Palin home and found young Bristol and Willow in the kitchen, trying to make ramen for supper, with a burned pan of mac and cheese on the stove. This evidence of a lack of basic parental care stuck with me, and when I'm tempted to feel disgust toward Bristol, it comes to mind.
Plus, she's experiencing enormous public humiliation now with this pregnancy, on top of her peculiar broken engagement. In spite of her saying she didn't want sympathy or lectures, I do feel the former toward her, and if I knew her, I'd give her the latter. She needs both.
Who, among Bristol's awesome family, is supporting her now? Certainly not publicly. Maybe behind the scenes?

A five second Google search would have let Palin know that World Population Day is a yearly event established by the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme to raise awareness of the world’s rapidly expanding population. Of course Palin almost certainly knows this but was feigning ignorance in order to mock liberals and scientists concerned with the serious impact we are having on the planet. And of course, her assistant’s birthday is far more important than the crushing environmental effects of human population growth.
This petty scorn directed at environmentalism is becoming something of a Palin trademark. Earlier this month Palin delivered a ludicrous screed against California governor Jerry Brown for his environmental policies in the face of the state’s severe drought. Palin, a graduate in media communications, took the opportunity to lecture Brown on how to solve the crisis suggesting he should “just fix the infrastructure problem” and “build more reservoirs”. Palin accused Brown of going after people’s front lawns and golf courses, issues she presumably believes are far more important than growing food and providing drinking water to Californians.
While Palin and her followers believe these issues exist purely to poke fun at those on the opposite side of the political spectrum, they might not be so amused when the impact of population growth and climate change (two highly interdependent events) begins to destroy Alaska’s wildlife, coastline and infrastructure. As the EPA states, global warming has impacted Alaska at twice the rate of the rest of the nation leading to, amongst other things, severe permafrost problems that will seriously hamper Alaska’s economy:

It's an ambitious project containing 260 meditations on how Biblical principles can be applied to contemporary issues (I read about it in one report). This has to be written only with lots of inspiration and reverence and with arduous, thoughtful, analytical mental process. Those moments come with cascading torrents of words to be put down on paper speedily. In such instances an author must not be disturbed and the inspiration could be brief or lengthy, lasting for days.

I am even speculating her book is going to be a massive tome, a Magnum Opus, running over 800 pages; and maybe that's why Harper Collins couldn't do this because for them it's unlikely to make profit on big books especially those about Christian faith.

Bristol is a promoter and salesperson, her example must be examined. She can try to hide but she will be revealed, as those that cover and hide her true identity. If Bristol has the many more babies that people are mentioning in the matter of birthing breeder Bristol, the Palins and this new baby or fetus are that much more paramount.
I can't say I know about all the possibilities of what is being dealt with regarding Bristol Palin. I do think it is valuable to research and look into unpleasant things. Exposing hypocrites and frauds is worthwhile. Also saving innocent victims could come from uncovering the secret life of the Heath/Palins. No stone should be left unturned.
