Actual photo that Palin used to illustrate this post. I kid you not. |
"Planned Parenthood" equals quality health care? Nothing could be further from the truth. SHUT IT DOWN. Presidential candidates: join me in calling for Planned Parenthood to be SHUT DOWN. This is a sham business falsely advertising as a "provider of quality health care for our patients." How can anyone sit back and watch our tax dollars fund this? There are countless distributors of birth control and health care advice out there; PP's fake premise of doing so and caring for any aspect of health is offensive and beyond unethical. Kirsten Powers - thank you for speaking up because this atrocity is not a partisan or gender issue; it's obviously a moral one. The acceptance of this speaks to the character of a nation.
Actually I think the acceptance of Planned Parenthood speaks to the intelligence of the nation. And those getting themselves all worked up over the video tape hoaxes...well quite the opposite.
(For those wondering about that Kirsten Powers shut out that is because Palin also included a link to a USA Today opinion piece by the Fox News contributor.)
As for Planned Parenthood's claim of providing birth control and health care advice as being fake, well Palin does not know what in the hell she is talking about. (I know, surprising right?)
Courtesy of Planned Parenthood at a glance:
Planned Parenthood health centers focus on prevention: 80 percent of our clients receive services to prevent unintended pregnancy.
Planned Parenthood services help prevent approximately 516,000 unintended pregnancies each year.
Planned Parenthood provides nearly 400,000 Pap tests and nearly 500,000 breast exams each year, critical services in detecting cancer.
Planned Parenthood provides nearly 4.5 million tests and treatments for sexually transmitted infections, including 700,00 HIV tests.
Three percent of all Planned Parenthood health services are abortion services.
Planned Parenthood affiliates provide educational programs and outreach to 1.5 million young people and adults each year.
Planned Parenthood has eight million activists, supporters, and donors working for women's health and safety and our fundamental reproductive rights.
I know it must be confusing for Palin to be confronted with the fact that an agency or individual actually does what they claim to do, but Planned Parenthood is definitely in that category.
And as one can see from this list abortion only counts for three percent of the health care services provided by Planned Parenthood, yet 100% of their difficulties.
It does not have to be pointed out to any of you that Palin is a rollicking hypocrite on this subject as we all know about her "Wite-Out" pregnancies, not to mention her fake one.
However she is still a voice that a certain under educated segment of society takes seriously on this subject and for that reason she needs to be called out and confronted before she helps to destroy yet another necessary institute of public service.
"And as one can see from this list abortion only counts for three percent of the health care services provided by Planned Parenthood, yet 100% of their difficulties."
ReplyDeleteI am ambivolent, more or less, to abortion. But if you say abortion services are only 3% of their services, but 100% of their problems.... well the solution is staring right at you, no?
Your post seems to imply that if PP just eliminated performing all abortions, all their difficulties would go away. That is probably correct. But many women need an abortion, for whatever reason they have. So to eliminate that choice is hurting them and society as a whole more than it helps it. And learn how to spell. Particularly ambivalent.
DeleteOne solution is to have wealthy women go to Canada or overseas for legal, safe, affordable abortions, and have poor women return to the back alley abortionists which is what happened before clinics like Planned Parenthood were available.
DeleteYour post seems to imply that if PP just eliminated performing all abortions, all their difficulties would go away.
DeleteTHAT IS PROBABLY NOT CORRECT.
Many of the Xtian Talibangelicals are offended by ALL forms of birth control.
First they came for abortions.
Then they came for Planned Parenthood.
Next they came for hormonal birth control.
Then they came for implantable devices.
Soon the evil condom was targeted.
Many religious lawmakers denied that they were inspired by the fecundity of the Romanian people under the dictator Ceausescu and the 19 quiverfull Duggars, but some doubts remained...
"well the solution is staring right at you, no?"
DeleteNo, the solution is not staring us in the face. Please, let us know what your great solution would be? Banning abortions altogether?
Based on your reply I believe you don't remember what happens when abortion is illegal. Shall I remind you of desperate young (and old) women forced to find services in back alleys? Shall I sing the song of the countless lives lost because the abortion worked only for the woman to die from hemorrhage? Contrary to what a pastor has told you, abortion is not forbidden in the Christian holy book. In fact there are several mentions of 'bitter water'. Curious that phrase is never mentioned in pro-life literature.
As for the abortion legality issue, I've lost people. I know nurses who lost people. It is evident by your lack of compassion that you have never experienced this level of sorrow. Pray it never visits you.
In my opinion, the simplest idea would be for politicians to be equitable about reproductive medicine. The GOP doesn't want to fund birth control, well lets lump viagra and other performance enhancing drugs with them; ban them all. (I'll stop giggling now.)
I know that will never happen. See it's really about controlling the poor in general and women in specific. Otherwise all the reporters would know well women visits are coded differently than family planning visits at doctors offices. In fact, a doctor's office may cover family planning but not well women visits.
Planned Parenthood takes care of the whole woman. Always has. Guess that's just crazy talk.
If the fuc*ing right wing would allow every woman to have safe and easy access to the morning after pill, maybe PP could do fewer abortions.
DeleteNo, I don't. That would create a huge issue with illegal abortions because poor women can't afford to go and get abortions in a hospital.
DeleteLook at all you loonies. No Connie, I never said anything about banning abortions altogether, or anything about banning abortions at all, did I?!
DeleteI really don;t have a dog in the abortion fight. But the fight that others fight, more or less, is taxpayer dollars going to fund PP, who does perform abortions right?
So Gryph said it is about 3% of their service, is it worth throwing away the 97% of other useful services and screenings, just to save face on 3% of the biggest controversial service they provide?- and which typically isn't even a health issue- more of an oops fixer.
So where would you like women that can't afford to go to a hospital and pay thousands extra to get an abortion to go to besides a back alley?
Delete"biggest controversial service they provide?- and which typically isn't even a health issue- "
DeleteAbortion isn't a health issue? Is that what you think? Because I think a great many people think it is a health issue. And Roe V. Wade seems to support that position.
No, typically abortion isn't a health issue 2:11. Very rarely of course it can be. But usually, it is a procedure to end an unwanted pregnancy, an oops.
DeleteRoe vs. Wade was about right to privacy...... it didn't establish abortion as a 'health issue' lol. Don't be a dummy.
Well, there it is. "Throwing away 97%" Why? Because some assholes lie, other ones believe and people like you have "no dog in the fight".
DeleteBullshit, I call troll.
Whatever 2:33.
DeleteCalling someone a 'troll' is boorish, and very last decade, but if it gives you a big boner and makes you think you are an internet superstar, well bully for you.
"Looky me everyone- I called someone a troll!" lol.
2:33 says "But usually, it is a procedure to end an unwanted pregnancy, an oops. "
DeleteRiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Being raped is an oops. You must have a medal for your efforts in the war to kill women.
I understand 12:07. Raped women magically have the time and money to find someplace other than Planned Parenthood that will do an abortion. Texas is crawling with places like that. Not.
DeleteHIvy league drop out are we?
DeleteWell, you are certainly right about other reasons than -oops- 2:50, sorry.
DeleteBut I have nothing against women or their rights to healthcare or abortions, or have any 'war to kill women' you douche.
@3:05 "sorry" is laughably inadequate for having said:
Delete""But usually, it is a procedure to end an unwanted pregnancy, an oops. "
You are ill equipped to discuss women's health care. Your obvious lack of empathy is offensive.
Now that 12:07 has conceded that some unwanted pregnancies are NOT just an "oops", it seems clear that proposal to eliminate abortion service by Planned Parenthood was ill conceived and unwarranted.
DeleteWill 12:07 retract? Probably not intelligent enough to acknowledge defeat. So the ranting will continue but without an audience.
2:33 PM Is that you again, Alicia Delain Mangelsdorf/morebabies/kryptonite/lucy in the sky?
DeleteWhy would anyone call you a troll? You are 'obvi' not a troll who has a 'convo' with herself daily and worships the ground that Sarah Palin and Bristol Palin walk on.
Hey 2:33 PM How many oops have you had?
DeleteI don't think you know what "ambivalent" means.
DeleteYou don't know what the hell you're talking about. Abortion is 100% a health issue. You really need to think and learn a lot more before you post about something you understand so little about.
DeleteSo deciding to terminate a Down Syndrome pregnancy isn't a health issue, it's an "oops".
DeleteLogic, how does it werk?
Abortions are available and safe for any woman if she has enough money. Planned Parenthood and other clinics provide safe, legal abortions for women who don't have the cash to fly out of the country or pay a hospital or private doctor.
Delete4:00 probably about 1%, as that is the statistic for women receiving abortions due to rape.
Delete4:42 says
Delete"probably about 1%, as that is the statistic for women receiving abortions due to rape"
Fantasy statistic without scientific evidence to support a specious argument is not worth the bits it's printed on.
4:32.... what is the actual 'health issue' with a Downs Syndrome pregnancy? Please define the 'health issue'.
Delete@4:42
DeleteALL statistics about rape are skewed because many women do not report rape. Personal safety being one of many, many valid reasons to not report rape.
Stay on your meds ppl.
DeleteCoat hanger abortions killed women, presumably because it wasn't healthy.
DeleteI'm relatively new here. Can someone tell me what a white-out (sp?) pregnancy is exactly? Thanks in advance.
Delete@4:55, not every woman who is carrying a DS fetus want to carry the pregnancy to term. It ain't nobody's business but their own! So their right to seek out a safe and legal abortion is therefore a health issue.
DeleteIf you're against abortion JUST DON'T HAVE ONE!
Sarah Palin claims in her crappy book that she had a D&C after Track was born when an embryo failed to develop. She says the doctor's office sent her a bill with "abortion" typed in for the procedure, then wited-out and replaced with the word "miscarriage."
DeleteThere have been discussion as to why this if ridiculous. "Miscarriage" isn't a procedure and no doctor's office would use wite-out and type over it for a bill. Many people believe she actually had an abortion and wited the word out herself to replace it with something more palatable.
And now you know the rest of the story (or at least some of it).
It's a health issue because it involves a woman's health. It's also between a woman and her doctor and nobody else.
DeleteIt is between the mother, father of the fetus. And their MD. No body else.
Deletems palin must save face coming from unplanned events as far back as? well? who knows? but in order to keep the free money flowing she must pick and choose her ranting topics to appeal to the favor of the week. painlin should really mow her own back yard. and use police tape around those knees hooier's or aspirin.
What else is there to keep Sarah busy? Or is it Nancy busy? The FAVORITE NEPHEW excitement was a bit too much. Btw, where is Bristol? Todd? I doubt Track is in rehab, he is no doubt miserable or loaded and angry, miserable.
ReplyDeleteProbably puking or od'd behind the mugshot.
DeleteWhat happened to Willow? Her legs were in Arizona by the pool and she ZAPPED it! Gone! Why?

Maybe a willow works in that hair salon like Bristol works in that skin place...intermittently.
Delete1:55 PM
DeleteYou are so right. Julie does a lot of the hair shots. It looks like Willow is working hard in Anchorage. lol
The Master Manipulator only allows what she wants on her kids social media. It is hardly all about Willow. Willow is just another tool.
wbf_ Super fun purple this morning.

It sounds like Willow did someone's hair about 7/13/15. Could it be? Where was that taken?
I don't know what's with the Palin Social Media Messaging. At times they are too vague, not clear for public figures doing public social media.
Is that Arizona or Alaska?
The picture she deleted was Arizona.
7/16 Alaska or Arizona?
http://websta.me/p/1030406175776180063_825925128
Mark my words Willow is going to ultimately make Bristol seem downright chaste in the long run. She is one nasty skankwhore.
Delete6:08 thanks for the photo links. Love that purple hair!
Deleteand little Kayla in the bottom link is cutie. And Britta's hair is gorgeous. (Assuming they are the Track limb of the family and not some strangers with similar names.)
In the broken mind of Sarah, I'm certain that she also blames Planned Parenthood for Barstool getting pregnant yet again.
ReplyDeleteWhere has Bristol been this week?
DeleteWe are waiting to see the baby bump she planned.
Everyone knows she goes to work, the place she calls 'home' everyday.
Yet, not one person has been able to get one little old snap shot?

I think Bristol is in Arizona. That is why Sarah wanted the Willow post of the pool taken down. She was alright with the Penrose crew when Willow was to leave.
DeleteBristol is the only person I've ever known to view every visit to her workplace (haha) as a photo op. And isn't that just like a Palin.
DeletePS. Is that the good doctor in the photo posted b 302p? He looks like a total creep.
If republicans could read an if they could comprehend what they read, this would be a site that could open their eyes;
ReplyDeletehttp://plannedparenthoodsavedme.tumblr.com
Thanks, Barabra. Just skimming the responses and yours just stood out as exceptionally on topic.n and worthy of a post all it's own. These are the voices of real women's lives and the valuable services Planned Parenthood offers.
DeleteMaybe if Sarah would have taken her children to planned parenthood they wouldn't have had multiple children out of wedlock. Including Cletus the Fetus who Granny Sarah has no even bothered to acknowledge.
ReplyDeleteSo all I can say is
FUC_ YOU SARAH PALIN!
Reducing women's access to legal, safe, affordable abortion does NOT reduce the number of abortions. Wealthy women will go to Canada or overseas. Poor women will go to the back alley abortionist.
ReplyDeleteReducing women's access to legal, safe, affordable pregnancy prevention CAUSES more abortions.
Sarah Palin will spout any rant that gets her clicks. She does not care a bit about unborn fetuses. This is a women that boasts of boarding a transcontinental flight after an amniotic fluid leak without a medical check for a premature Down Syndrome baby when she was high risk (over 40, 7th pregnancy, history of miscarriage) then avoiding neonatal intensive care equipped hospitals to supposedly be induced to give birth in small hospital not even rated to handle twins attended by a doctor not qualified to handle high risk.
Wealthy women just have them done in the hospital of their choice in the USA. As long as they can afford it, abortion has been and will always be available to them.
DeleteShe was never pregnant with Trig. Most of us who read IM know this. It's one of the things that makes Sarah Palin's "high horse" attitude so incredibly annoying. Her eldest daughter would have benefitted enormously from learning about birth control from the local Planned Parenthood office. She certainly learned nothing at home.
DeleteBeaglemom
"abortion has been and will always be available"
DeleteIF we can keep getting sane judges appointed to the Supreme Court.
Not if the GOP takes control. They are already fining doctors in some states who do ANY abortions. They really do not care that children are born dead, or so deformed they die soon after the forced birth, or that women are forced to carry dead fetuses to term. They are also jailing women who miscarry.
DeleteThey can't control the masses so they pick on the women! Kick their asses!
Delete1:15, how old are you anyway? Women in 2015 take safe abortions for granted. I have seen the rights of women to safe abortions erode for the past 20 years. This whole argument about Planned Parenthood is all about controlling women and our rights to birth control. Birth CONTROL and decision making.
Delete"abortion has been and will always be available
DeleteYou misquoted me, I wrote
Wealthy women just have them done in the hospital of their choice in the USA. As long as they can afford it, abortion has been and will always be available to them.
And yes, even when abortions were illegal wealthy women ( and their daughters) got them all the time. They had enough $$$$ to pay off the Dr and give the hospitals a cut. And then would claim they needed to either do a D&C or D&E because of a spontaneous abortion, otherwise known as a miscarriage.
5:46 PM
DeleteMy older sister and friends talked about what was going on with their friends in the 1950s. Coat hangers and all kinds of things that would happen. Yes, it was common for the wealthy to send their girls to Mexico. The girls that had to go to a maternity home were the most depressing. The danger of a back room doctor, say a rogue dentist or veterinary receptionist, was grim. There were much more grim.
Making laws that intrude and violate women is a disgusting horror.
In some states now a woman can go to prison due to losing a fetus in a medical procedure or having a drink in public.
It is time to take this lying, grifting, militantly stupid narcissist down. completely down...and I think there are republicans ready to do that as well.
ReplyDeleteHere's a typical story from the site Planned Parenthood Saved Me, why would anyone in their right mind want to shut them down?
ReplyDeleteI was 24, working at a low-paying job and barely getting by. I hadn’t had a gynecological exam since I was in college. My friend T. told me to go to Planned Parenthood because they didn’t cost much, and would work with me on what I could afford. I went in, got my exam, and thought that was the end of it.
I got a call a few days later to come back into the office for an appointment. The results of my PAP were back, and it was abnormal. Subsequent tests confirmed that I had cervical cancer, and I was panicked. The people at Planned Parenthood got me into a treatment program and referred to an oncologist, they had counselors who talked to me and helped me, and ultimately, saved my life.
Now that I have a career, I give generously, so that other women who are in the same place I was - not enough money, no insurance, no doctor - can get the health care that might save THEIR lives.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I need to get back on the contribution plan again.
DeleteThanks for that story, Barbara and I'm glad you caught it in time.
DeletePlanned Parenthood is the ONLY reason why myself and a bunch of my girlfriends got annual exams and pap smears in college.
Here's a copy of what I am posting on facebook when someone posts or shares any story that claims PP sells baby parts.
ReplyDeleteFeel free to borrow, but please reword it so it sounds like you. Or use quotes, like if you chose to use the whole last sentence.
**********
I don’t usually do this, but I cannot let this go by.
The story that Planned Parenthood ‘sells baby parts’ is simply untrue.
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/07/22/opinion/the-campaign-of-deception-against-planned-parenthood.html?_r=0
Should you choose to reply (you don’t have to!), please read the above in full before replying.
Three things I want to highlight:
A: The tissue is donated, not sold, and handled in accordance with existing law the same any organ donation.
http://www.hhs.gov/ohrp/policy/publiclaw103-43.htm.html
B: The videos released to the public were edited specifically to make it appear that PP was selling tissue and organs, and the organization making the videos spent years setting up this “sting” operation.
C: Abortions are only one very small percentage of Planned Parenthood’s important and much needed services.
If you still think this legal practice is abominable (fetal tissue donation), you are certainly entitled to that opinion, but the correct way to do something about it is to lobby your representatives to change the law, not shut down or even defund PP as a whole.
Planned Parenthood provides important cancer screenings and birth control among many other services. I myself have used those services because it was the only affordable option for me.
If you think abortion is wrong, then you want Planned Parenthood to be there to help keep women, particularly poor women, from getting pregnant in the first place.
And for those of you who agree with the above but will follow that with “But I shouldn’t have to pay for it with my tax dollars” I say, in advance, you are really not thinking this though, in terms of what a child brought into the world in poverty or in an orphanage or in the foster care system for 18+ years costs you.
Once again, please direct your outrage, if that’s what you have, where it belongs. Start your letter-writing or emailing campaign to your federal representatives about this issue, to change the law. Here, I’ll help you get started:
Title 42 U.S. Code 274e:
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/42/274e
Title 42 U.S. Code 289g
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/42/289g-2
To continue to denounce the entire Planned Parenthood organization which helps both women and men so much is like cutting off your nose - and your ears, and gouging your eyes out and setting your hair on fire - to spite your face.
Thank you for this comment.
DeleteThe idiotic Indiana governor Mike Pence closed the pp in souhern indià na. That area is poor, white, drug infested now has an HIV AIDS epidemic because the pp did hiv testing. And the HIV isn't just in the using population, but in their babies, their clean spouses, etc.

Sarah Palin’s concerns should be directed towards keeping Piper from becoming a single struggling high school freshman mother.
Right now Piper's roll model and mentors are Aftadark's exotixxx model Marina Lupas and Promiscuous Bristol Palin.
And they are indeed roll models.
DeleteLupas is some parent and role model. She has never had to take any government programs for food, medical or her child. Lupas had Dr. Cusack and Kelly. Piper can learn from that. Be an entrepreneur business woman Piper! You can be independent and rich.

2:05 PM
DeleteWhat happened?
It is unusual for a mother to loose custody. Esp if they are so together about earning a living. Isn't she a Christian? It is hard to believe a good motherly type with so much business smarts could lose custody.
Piper may look up to her and admire her but she had and has the greatest effect on Bristol. It looks like Bristol has learned most of what she knows the past 6 or so years form Marina.
Sarah and Todd would have known all along because they are so much to do with the Cusacks and Marina and Bristol's 'job'.
Not having custody does not necessarily translate into "losing" custody.
DeleteHi folks, I am Cletus and would like to thank my mom Bristol for not getting birth control from Planned Parenthood. I would not be here if she did go to PP.
ReplyDeleteI know many of you readers want to know who my daddy is. I also want to know, but that prick was in and out before I could see him.

DeleteCletus: unfortunately, if you are correct and did hear rap music, then most likely you will not be welcomed with open arms by your mother, but instead you will get the same fate like the DWTS baby and a couple of others. You will be immediately given away, but since your mother this time acknowledged that she was pregnant (which she never did with all the other ones), you will be declared as having been DOA - Dead On Arrival.
DeleteOTOH, it might make your life easier, because there is almost no family that is as vile and hypocritical as your mother's family.
Whatever your fate, I wish you good luck in your coming life on this earth. (Oh, and try to stay away when your mother drinks and does drugs - I know it is virtually impossible for the place you are renting right now, but maybe you can be really ornery when your mother does it, so she will not enjoy doing it too often!)

What the hell do republicans have against women planning their pregnancies? Planned Parent serves a need. Aren't republicans all for a business stepping up and filling a need? Isn't that good old capitalism? If Planned Parenthood quit providing abortions, there would still be a vocal group protesting the birth control services offered. Some people just don't want women to have autonomy over their lives.
ReplyDeleteThey don't care a bit about family planning or abortion. I am sure that every Republican in Congress has used some kind of family planning and I suspect the rate of abortion in that bunch is on par with the general population. How many of them have 10 kids or more?
DeleteWhat they do care about is getting votes from the millions of pro life voters. It's pandering, pure and simple.
Hey $arah, just fuck off and go back to your grifting.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it that the Palin Family doesn't understand about family planning? Both Sally and Sarah found themselves pregnant before they were married. That kind of forces some poor guy into a situation he might not be ready to accept, but what the heck. We can even discuss the possibility of a pregnant woman not knowing exactly who the father of her unborn child would be but..... Dakota Meyer almost found himself in that situation, too.
ReplyDeleteThere is a good reason for birth control, namely having children when the person is mature and able to handle the presence of a baby in their life. Bristol is the best advertisement for children not having children. Now, she's about to have another. The Palins are the walking advertisement for why Planned Parenthood should continue to exist.
Who said Sarah didn't plan her pregnancy? She set a trap for Curtis and had to settle for Todd.
DeleteOh snap!
DeleteIt's interesting that Sarah Palin posted a photo of Trig with her parents as the graphic for shutting down Planned Parenthood. Sarah loves to argue that people told her to abort Trig, when nothing could be further from the truth. Sarah wasn't pregnant and she didn't give birth to Trig. The big fat pink baby being held by Chuck and Sally is not a premature 8 month old DS baby. It's a big fat pink baby who was not "just born."
ReplyDeleteShe was only pregnant from 6 to 8 months. Who does she think told her to abort at that stage? Not that she was pregnant, but in her faux argument.
DeleteProof that she argues alone with herself.
Yes, that will get her institutionalized.
Where are the pictures of Sarah in her hospital bed with newborn Trig? Doesn't every mom have those?
DeleteYeah! Good observation!
DeleteThat is why the truth about Trig needs to come out.
DeleteCould not agree more 4:56! ASAP.
Delete2;10, no time to take pictures. She didn't file insurance so it was a quicky in and out, drive-by birth at Mat-Su. That was an early Saturday and super-woman Sarah (according to David Gregory) was back at the office on Monday with Trigger in tow, cuz, you know, she was breast feeding. How fucking crazy does one have to be to pull a fake birth and fake breast feeding a one month preemie Downs baby? Boy, those people in the Alaska statehouse must be the most ignorant, stupid, not living in reality people in the world! Did not one person question this whole scam?
DeleteYes but they are DEAD!
DeleteWhat she needed to do is shut her big fat ignorant mouth and take her daughter(s) to planned parenthood since at least one of them doesn't know what causes babies.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty damn obvious no Palin ever went to a PP office. Funny how someone can talk shit about something they know absolutely nothing about. But then again, she is famous for being a blithering idiot and isn't afraid to show it constantly.
ReplyDeleteThey have prayer warriors and god's plan. They don't think they need anything else but OPM.
DeleteHmmmm... Just noticed for the first time, that there is a PINK balloon in the back of this picture... Hmmm... Somehow, I thought that in the US, PINK means GIRL...Wasn't TriG supposed to be a BOY?!
ReplyDeleteGreat catch. The baby also has on a pink hat...so not a boy. Maybe this is a picture taken when Piper was born. Sally looks a lot younger than pictures I saw when Sarah was running for VP.
DeleteI am pretty sure the picture, and also on tv news, was at the time Trig was to have been born to Sarah at Mat-Su.
DeleteIf the baby is a girl or boy, who knows? I don't think most people think it is a baby born to Sarah. I do think the photo was staged and taken at the alleged birth time for Trig.
The mindset is that Tri-G is retarded, he won't care later if he had day old pink balloons and a pink hat in his pictures.
DeleteSorry, this is not a newborn premie DS baby.
That child would be in a nursery or nicu for observation for a bit, at least 24 hours.
No way in hell he'd be in a hallway with a grandparent. Ain't happening.
Says the 30 year experienced pediatric nurse.
If only it was possible to get past Palin's cast-iron media bubble shield, we could broker a compromise.
ReplyDeleteIf she'll just respect the values of the majority of Americans who recognize that abortion is legal and that Planned Parenthood is vitally important for the health of millions of lower-income women -- ?
In return, we'll respect HER values and change the organization's name to UNPLANNED PARENTHOOD.
C'mon, Sarah! You can actually be part of a solution -- for once -- and also send the powerful message that you made UP YOURS!
Frustrated? tell Homeland security!

So Piper's future is
To lay on a bed with her ass crack and big white ass cheeks showing?
To pimp out her body to any old pervert that wants to look at a thick body?
To have a baby with probably an Aftadark gentleman who remains unidentified?
Sit on a bed with her legs wide open as to invite her imaginary lovers to seek shelter between her thunder thighs?
Is that the entrepreneurship you think Piper should seek?

DeleteAccusations that Planned Parenthood inappropriately profits off the sale of aborted fetuses are part of a “concerted attack” against both the organization and women’s ability to choose whether to have an abortion, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said on Thursday.
ReplyDelete“I think it is unfortunate that Planned Parenthood has been the object of such a concerted attack for so many years,” the Democratic front-runner said at an event in Greenville, South Carolina. “And it’s really an attack against a woman’s right to choose, to make the most personal, difficult decisions that any woman would face, based on her faith and the medical advice that she’s given.”
The comments represented Clinton’s first mention of the controversy, spurred last week by an organization called the Center for Medical Progress. The organization had secretly filmed a Planned Parenthood employee discussing the cost of handling fetal tissue samples. The employee, Dr. Deborah Nutacola, had believed she was speaking with buyers from a biological company, but was actually meeting with actors working for the organization.

Trig is there a chance Sarah Palin is not your birth mother?
ReplyDeleteCould that explain why Sarah always traveling to the lower 48 all these years without Trig because she's not his birth mother? Why does Sarah do things in the lower 48 that does not better Trig's life while she ignores Trig's needs?
Go to pancake breakfasts in the lower 48
Go to bbqs in the lower 48
Go to high school graduationz in the lower 48
Go to Las Vegas to serve food to the needy
Go to multiple political rallies in lower 48
Go to the RNC convention in the lower 48

Go to several horse races in the lower 48
Go to several car races in the lower 48
Go to NBA basketball ganes in the lower 48
Go to the Memorial Weekend in the lower 48 to ride a motorcycle
There's more things Sarah did in the lower 48 that doesn't benefit Trig but I think you get my drift
WTF is in the lower 48 that is more important than Trig's needs?
Here's another example that Sarah did things that does not benefit Trig. Why does Sarah spend so much time on her facebook instead of spending time with Trig? All that stuff Sarah writes about on her facebook takes time to research and write which takes Sarah away from teaching Trig how to speak, eat and do other things DS kids Trig's age can do.
How about teaching Trig how to eat solid foods?
How about having Trig wear his prescription glasses and hearing aid?
Can Trig use the bathroom instead of going in his shorts or diaper?
Trig who is your real birth mother?
Trig served his purpose, making Sarah the attractive VP candidate who would appeal to the Religious Right. She carried her little prop around for two months, but it wasn't enough to win the election. She brought him back for the book tour, poor kid, being hauled out in front of a crowd on a cold night wearing nothing but a t-shirt and a diaper. Sarah is one Hell of a Mother! And, she did not give birth to Trig.
DeleteShe's busy saving America, silly! Children get sacrificed all the time by parents who think they're all that. Sarah Palin being the worst example of narcissism run wild, to our country's detriment.

The attack on Planned Parenthood is more about contraception than abortion
ReplyDeleteThat Planned Parenthood hoax video was apparently some kind of bat signal sent out to conservatives to indicate that it’s time for a free-for-all: That no lie, no matter how outrageous or easily debunked, is totally on the table now, so long as it’s about Planned Parenthood. That much is evident when you read this piece at Media Matters about how Bill O’Reilly and Andrea Tantaros worked themselves into an absolute frenzy of bullshit over this. It was so bad that it is actually easier to pull out the not-false statements than the false ones, except that all you would get is blank space, since nothing they said had any relation to the truth.
Like Andrea Tantaros saying, “And look, here’s my view on Planned Parenthood. It provides services now, those services are provided under Obamacare. So, we don’t really need Planned Parenthood.” Nope. That is a lie. To hear her talk of it, you’d think there are all these new Obamacare clinics and that you just wander into one of those. Obamacare has some provisions in it to improve health care services, but it’s really just about getting people insured. But even being generous, if her point is that Obamacare requires contraception coverage, yes it does. You still need a doctor to prescribe it. A lot of women, especially low income women on Medicaid, struggle to find a doctor that will take them on as patients, provide actual comprehensive sexual health care, or take their insurance. But Planned Parenthood is happy to help! A lot of their federal funding doesn’t come to them directly, but through Medicaid. Planned Parenthood has a role within the reformed health care system, but there are no ready replacements for the kind of services they provide....
http://www.rawstory.com/2015/07/the-attack-on-planned-parenthood-is-more-about-contraception-than-abortion/
Way past time for her to keep scabrous claws and skanky mouth out of other people's business.
ReplyDeleteBut if you have any doubts left that the calls to defund Planned Parenthood are way more about contraception than abortion, remember that most of what Planned Parenthood does is contraception (and other sexual health management), so most of what would be lost is that. In addition, none of the federal funding they get goes to abortion. So, in that sense, this attack is 100% about everything but abortion. It’s about trying to destroy an organization because it’s too good at helping women get the health care they need.
ReplyDelete*This is why the warm-up to attacking Planned Parenthood was going after ACORN. It’s all about kneecapping poor people to keep them poor.

Every woman I know who got pregnant to get married is an adamant right to lifer. It helps them avoid the very real act of deception and allows them to imagine instead they “did the right thing.” I saw it in my own mother. She was livid when she found out my sister and I were smart enough to acquire birth control and the services of Planned Parenthood so an unplanned pregnancy wasn’t part of our early lives. When we quizzed her as to why? she answered she “would make us have the baby.” It was a truly shocking moment. Thankfully we ignored her (after being so painfully aware how much more satisfying her life could have been had she not become a mother at 17). I made sure my children all has access to birth control, knew the facts about STDs and how unprotected sex could ruin they potential. It was a part of their education. There was no moment where teen pregnancy was romanticized and in fact I’m sure they had no peers who thought so either. It is a basic part of being a responsible parent — making sure your children live up to their potential before they become parents. The very idea Sarah Palin, who I consider a lackluster parent attempting to cut off access to Planned Parenthood makes my blood boil.
ReplyDelete2:30 how lucky your children are to have such a parent!
DeleteI know of a couple of women who became pregnant in order to get the guy to marry them. That was back in the day when rich people could get abortions, but not the general public. It was also a time when it was humiliating for a woman to be both unwed and pregnant. One gal was a gold digger, making sure to nail the rich man she was dating. The baby worked; they had to get married. The other gal who got pregnant waited until more than 3 months passed, meaning that she would not be able to do anything about the "unexpected baby." He was reluctant but the baby did the trick. To this day, they lie about when they got married and when that first kid was born.
DeleteThere have also been women who try to save a failing marriage with continuous pregnancies, hoping that will bind the reluctant husband closer to her.
THAT'S PIMPING 101.
ReplyDeletePiper can learn from that. Be an entrepreneur business woman Piper! You can be independent and rich.

Pimping 101:
We tell that to girls whose mothers and fathers has abandoned them. Wanting to be loved became their way of life and if it meant sleeping in canvas tents and trapping someone that would love them or having multiple babies while still being single is what love means to them. Those are the girls who wants to be loved and are ripe for the pickings.

DeletePerpetrator of Planned Parenthood hoax tells Hannity that many more (unethically edited) videos are in the works
ReplyDeleteHe has thousands of hours of footage from the "long-term, in-depth, comprehensive investigative journalism study"
On “Hannity” Wednesday night, host Sean Hannity spoke to the man behind the Planned Parenthood hoax, and as you can probably guess, the conversation wasn’t going to be about the way in which the videos were deceptively edited.
“For the past two-and-a-half years,” David Daleiden said, “the Center for Medical Progress conducted a long-term, in-depth, comprehensive investigative journalism study,” a self-assessment that rivals Jonah Goldberg’s claim that “Liberal Fascism” would be “a very serious, thoughtful, argument that has never been made in such detail or with such care.” Patent overcompensation notwithstanding, Daleiden said that the purpose of this “study” was to determine “how exactly Planned Parenthood harvests and sells the body parts of the babies they abort.”
That those body parts aren’t actually sold — Planned Parenthood is reimbursed for expenses related to the delivery of the specimens — isn’t the point. Hannity didn’t invite Daleiden on to interrogate him, after all.

ReplyDeleteThe Many Manipulations of the Planned Parenthood Attack Videos
An OB/GYN explains how medically incorrect language is used to distort the facts
The anti-choice organization Center for Medical Progress—which, in 2013, claimed tax-exempt status as a biomedical charity—have recently released two “undercover” videos of Planned Parenthood officials discussing post-procedure tissue donation. The group claims the videos demonstrate that Planned Parenthood profits from fetal tissue donation (which would be illegal) and that they are “haggling” over the price of “baby parts.”
As an OB/GYN, I can tell you that neither of these claims are true.
These are not "baby parts." Whether a woman has a miscarriage or an abortion, the tissue specimen is called "products of conception." In utero, i.e. during pregnancy, we use the term "embryo" from fertilization to 10 weeks gestation and "fetus" from 10 weeks to birth. The term baby is medically incorrect as it doesn’t apply until birth. Calling the tissue “baby parts” is a calculated attempt to anthropomorphize an embryo or fetus. It is a false image—a 10-12 week fetus looks nothing like a term baby—and is medically incorrect.
http://www.newrepublic.com/article/122355/many-manipulations-planned-parenthood-attack-videos
So, technically speaking, Cletus the Fetus is the correct medical term for Bristol's unintended, planned pregnancy?

DeleteWhat a piece of lying shit that woman is. When I was unemployeed I went to planned parenthood to get a woman's check-up. It had nothing to do with having babies or not. They are low cost or free, and they provided me with excellent care without making me feel "poor," which I was at the time.
ReplyDeleteI don't know one person that had an abortion at Planned Parenthood. I have known many that received health services unrelated to being preg or not.
DeleteIf these people were sincere about wanting the fetus or abortion parts dealt with they would not need to throw the baby out with the bath water.
They could make their case with just addressing abortion and fetuses. They are over reaching to try and destroy all Planned Parenthood (the good and bad as they see it). They can barely say the good about Planned Parenthood, they only focus on made up stuff.
Medical procedures can look very gruesome and horrible. Heart, colon, brain surgery none of it is pretty.
I have never had an abortion (hurray, safe sex), but have used Planned Parenthood for birth control and to confirm my (planned) pregnancies. Same for my daughter. Katha Pollit's excellent book "Pro" shows how anti-choice people are not at all about saving babies, but rather punishing women.
DeleteDoesn't Planned Parenthood also do cancer screenings for breast and cervical cancer?
DeleteMaybe if the Palin offspring went to Planned Parenthood, one of Sarah's grandchildren would have been conceived in wedlock.
ReplyDeleteI want to see the original, unedited video in it's entirety.
ReplyDeleteBut it won't matter.
No facts will matter.
The anti-abortion crowd has won. The damage is done. No one who believes the lies in this video will have their minds changed by any facts.
They have done to Planned Parenthood exactly the same thing they did to Acorn and they did it the same way; with a heavily edited video tape designed to mislead.
I'm sure O'Keefe would be so proud his sting techniques are being used so successfully.
I think Planned Parenthood should "close" and then reopen with a new name, offering the exact same services.
I think Acorn should be resurrected by a different name too.
And they both should keep doing that over and over. Let the haters keep spinning their wheels doing the same attacks over and over.
If you're going to go to water because Sarah Palin is beating the dead horse of another unsuccessful Right-wing fabrication then you probably thought Shirley Sherrod did a bad thing and ACORN traffics prostitutes.
DeleteI went to Planned Parenthood when we had had several babies already and were very very poor. My husband was working a full-time job but we still qualified for both services from a medical clinic based on sliding scale fees as well as for Government Commodities which helped feed my existing children, and for which I was very thankful. At Planned Parenthood, I was given Birth Control Pills and when I couldn't tolerate them, I was given an IUD. I was always treated with respect and kindness. Thank you, Planned Parenthood, for all you have done for so many women for well over a half century of service without a hint of scandal, except for the harassment and outright lies of ignorant women like Palin and men who believe that women should be kept barefoot and pregnant, and they want legislation to back them up. They also want to pass legislation that ends help for the children of the very poor.

I've shared my experience with Planned Parenthood before. I've taken my kids to our local planned parenthood office to let them see for themselves all the services available for them if they need it. Some in and out of my family have clutched their pearls and questioned my parenting skills, but education is power, and I wanted my kids to not feel shame when it comes to reproductive health and planning a family.
ReplyDeletePlanned Parenthood isn't just a "woman's center", they educate , test and treat males about their reproductive health and options to protect themselves and their partners. An untreated std can lead to fertility problems for both sexes. I've had both my daughters and son given their hpv shots and boosters, one of the leading causes of cervical cancer, if the male doesn't get the shots, he can pass the virus back to the treated female, even if a condom is used.
What appals me about Sarah and her ilk is they'll fall for anything, and use it to twist the facts into a call to close health centers.
I wonder if Sarah and Todd ever explained human sexuality and reproduction to their kids, any of em. all of 'em? Her single mom abstinence ambassador is pregnant again after swearing on national tee vee that she'll "never have sex again unless she's married".
