Man leaves loaded handgun in bathroom stall. 4 year old finds it. This happened in a church.

Courtesy of JD News:

A 4-year-old boy walked into a bathroom stall and found a loaded handgun after a church service in Holly Ridge on Sunday, Holly Ridge Police Chief John Maiorano said.

The man, Claude Lee Haynes III, 70, received a ticket for child endangerment.

Haynes is accused of leaving an Equinox .380 pistol in a stall after a service of Lifewalk Church in Holly Ridge Community Center at 404 Sound Road.

Maiorano said Haynes is a member of the church.

According to the report some churches are designating that a couple of their members be armed.

You know to keep them safe.

A 70 year old, like the police booster who grabbed his gun instead of a taser and shot a subdued man?

The Church is gonna be rill safe against ISIS. They realize the only time churches are attacked is by white people, if abortionists and little black girls or black Bible Studies are inside?

I'm actually surprised this was even reported to the police. I mean, if the church is fine with people bringing loaded handguns into the building, the fact that an old guy left his in the bathroom seems an obvious consequence. No one was shot. The 4 year didn't kill his parents or siblings. But someone in that congregation is not on board. Someone called the police, and boy, they sure taught the guy a lesson. "A ticket" will surely make him think twice about where he leaves his loaded guns in the future, won't it? Or will the next shooting we hear about be in Lifewalk Church? America is in big trouble. Vote Democratic!

This is the same "copy and paste" type of journalism we have come to know. I have posed this same question, on other "so-called" news sites...Where you there?? I can tell you, this reporting is not accurate. It's sensationalism, and it got ya'll. Oh, btw, I do know that proper grammar would be "y'all". I don't care. "Southern".... I am a member, and Usher, at Lifewalk Church. I don't remember seeing any of ya'll there. It amazes me, how the un-informed Monday morning quarterbacks, seem to be so informed, yet have nothing to back it up. Except, well, the internet HAS to be right, right?? Negative. Although I DO understand the concern, facts are more prevalent. I have no ill-will toward anyone who comments their "opinion". Ist Amendment, I'm good. But to be rude, nasty, mean or even condescending, shows your character. I'm still good. I ain't mad at you.
Oh, just to make anyone understand that this is NOT a racial issue, as many have tried to tie into this unfortunate issue, we are a multi-ethnic, multi-racial church. To say otherwise is ignorant.
