MSNBC in pursuit of journalistic excellence quotes fake North Korean Twitter account on the air.

Here us the account that the quote was taken from, which if you read for even a minute is clearly a joke.

But hey in MSNBC's defense this was just Morning Joe. This kind of crap just doesn't happen on the Rachel Maddow show.

He's a bit of a dick that Halperin, isn't he?

Scarborough and Halperin, between them they have the brains of a bag of hair. I'm surprised anyone was listening to them.

Satire dies a painful death within the republican party and with their enablers.

  3. That's actually a worthwhile excuse.

If one watches Hayes, Maddow & O'Donnell routinely in the evening, then turns the set back on in the morning, it's as if MSNBC is having a practical joke to test whether we're really awake.

And if anybody's listening, I resent how, religiously at 10 on Friday nights after Maddow, loyal viewers are abandoned to those shitty 'real' prison programs.

Just another reason why Joe Scarborough's show is nicknamed Morning Joke.

Agree with you totally dvlaries. When those prison stories come on I think what a waste of time and immediately switch channels.

I must keep mentioning my approval of the news programming at Al Jazeera America, which I watch on DirecTV. Informative and in-depth reporting...so refreshing even though the subject matter is mostly quite serious.

Does it count, if nobody views it? Kind of a "when a tree falls" thingy.

  7. Morning Joe is a joke and has been for a long time. Who can listen to that self-aggrandizing Joe Scarborough??? Poor Mika...

Poor Mika is in training for Mrs. Alan Greenspan, Andrea Mitchell's spot. I want to like Mika, she is occasionally spot on, but those spots are rare.

Poor Mika's idolization of Joe Scarborough (worst than Bill O'Reilly, IMO) is just pitifully *blech!*

U.S. television stooge "Morning Joe" sentenced by revolutionary tribunal in absentia. "Morning Joe" will be pressed to death by heavy rocks!

Wonder when Joe and Mike will plea with Ambassador Dennis Rodman to intervene on their behalf? Sad commentary on where MSNBC is headed.
