Republicans are having a field day with their fake outrage over Hillary's private e-mail server, but the fact is that it does not even come close to the crap pulled by the Bush administration.

I would try to muster some outrage, but nothing comes close to lying to the public about WMD and then starting a war to legitimize the lie.
ReplyDeleteIt is this continual 'be outraged about anything other than the real issues facing Americans' that stirs the dissatisfaction with the entire political process.
And ... cue Bernie Sanders.
DeleteWell said, TC.
ReplyDeleteUntil the Bush administration is charged with war crimes, I have lost faith in our government.
Good point, but I hate the "they did it too" defense. Clinton deserves to be raked over the coals for pulling this crap. She's jeopardized her campaign by secretly going outside normal email channels, and she had to know that exposure of her email server would look bad, but she did it anyway, which really makes her look desperate to cover up some emails. I can't fault Republicans for exploiting that, when she gave them the ammunition.
ReplyDeleteGive me a break, it was not illegal for her to have her own email server, where was your outrage when other secretary of states did they same thing?
DeleteOh right that was ok cuz they were Republicans.
And Cheyney/Bush jeopardized our economy, our soldiers lives and limbs, exposed Valerie Plume, had Colin Powell lie through his teeth about WMD, Yellow Cake, Mobile Bomb Labs, and countless innocent lives, abu gareb, waterboarding, and kick started the post 911 economic disaster by telling people to "go shopping".
DeleteI have only recently gotten into politics, so I will openly say that I didn't know or hear of this. It doesn't excuse Clinton's behavior. If it was wrong for Bush, it's wrong for Clinton. I don't let my kids get away with doing stupid things, just because someone else did it. Same with my political leaders. Whether it's Bush lying, Obama vocal and disagree with what Bush does as president, then turning around and doing the same thing himself, or Clinton erasing tapes - I mean emails (Nixon). You can love her, but still disagree with how she handled things. Don't be blind, just because if you scream loud enough, problems go away. It doesn't work like that. Hold ALL to a higher standard, especially those on your side.

ReplyDeleteRemember Dickless Cheney had an industrial size shredder outside the VP residence, working overtime destroying documents? THST should have been stopped immediately. Bastards ruined the country, then act as though they are royalty.
ReplyDelete"while investigating the dismissals of the U.S. attorneys required the Bush administration to reveal that not all internalWhite House emails were available, because they were sent via a non-government domain hosted on an email server not controlled by the federal government."
ReplyDeleteIf President Bush and VP Dick Cheney can get rid of their White House emails they sent by non-governmental domain hosted on an email server not controlled by the federal government, then why did everybody complain about my mama doing it in the state of Alaska on a server not controlled or secured by the state of Alaska?
Did anybody see Sarah Palin’s facebook page? Sarah posted a SarahPac poster regarding the subject of Hilary Clinton exposing classified information?
ReplyDeleteAny second now, I guess we can expect Sarah Palin and SarahPAC to post posters of President Bush and Dick Cheney doing the same thing on unsecured email servers?
So, when are Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell going to turn over their e-mails and the servers they were on? They used private accounts too.
ReplyDeleteYeah, look up Hypocrisy in the dictionary and it says "see Republicans."
Deleted twenty million emails? Where's the FBI, Trey Dowdy? Oh, that's right, they played the "Nixon" card. "If a President Does it, it isn't illegal".
ReplyDeleteKnow how, at the end of a Presidency, at times they'll issue "pardons" to criminals whom they feel are worthy of returning to society? I often have this daydream, where President Obama and Vice President Biden change that tradition and instead they Bring the former Administration before the Hague for high crimes, starting two illegal wars, and almost bankrupting our nation. I know they won't, but a woman can dream, right? I doubt there's a statute of limitations.
Bush and Cheyney got off easy because our President was too busy hitting the ground running and did all they legally could, against all odds, to dig us out of the mess and raise our reputation around the world. Bush/Cheyney have to live, knowing the world knows the truth.
