Scott Walker is dropping out. Update!

Well shit.
Courtesy of NBC News:

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is set to drop out of the presidential race Monday night, a source close to the campaign confirms to NBC News.

He is scheduled to hold a press conference in Madison, Wisconsin, at 6pm ET to announce his exit from the race.

The Republican was once considered a frontrunner for the GOP nomination, topping polls in Iowa and winning accolades from conservatives for his fights against labor unions during his tenure as governor of the state.

Somewhere the Koch brothers are standing in the rain with their faces lifted to the sky yelling "TRUUUUMP!!!!"

But come on the guy was NEVER going to get the nomination.

Besides after you poll at 0% why stay in the race?

Update: Here is Walker quitting and bitching about the Donald.
So to sum up God told him to drop out for the good of the party.

Can't argue with that.

This is great news. They say Scott Walker dropped out of college, but I think he flunked out. Lots of media stories compared him to Sarah Palin because he was and is not ready for prime time.

I think it's pretty clear that Walker got kicked out, or pressured to drop out, due to cheating in a school election. Marquette University is a Jesuit (Catholic) school, and they don't put up with that crap. They might not state publicly what happened, but it's obvious. Otherwise people just don't drop out in their last semester.

Not to mention Walkers' obsession with defunding any and all Wisconsin schools. From kindergarten all the way up to the UW systems.

Kochs are getting desperate. Trump does not need their money. He's a megalomaniac and an jerk, but more importantly he's a billionaire megalomaniac and jerk. And he knows he can say anything and do anything and it just doesn't matter. His ratings go up. I wonder when the bloom will be off his particular rose for the GOP?

"We are the champions - my friends
    And we'll keep on fighting
    Till the end
    We are the champions
    We are the champions
    No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions of the World!!

    Oops...Wait... Wrong song. Sorry.

If it is true Gov Walker will dropout from the 2016 presidential race, that means a door has opened for Gov Sarah Palin to run for 2016 POTUS. The question is will Gov Sarah Palin put her foot in the door before it closes like it closed in 2012?

Sarah Palin can't stand up to the scrutiny of another national campaign and she knows it. She is a laughing stock and would poll even less than Scotty Walker.

A Palin campaign would be nothing but a joke, fodder for late night.

She would be eviscerated in the media.

Well, I predict Jeb (connotes excitement) will stick it out and get the nomination simply by lasting the longest. Doesn't mean he's the best choice, he'll just be the one that can hang on the longest. He's wanted to be president since before his brother's disastrous term. His own parents said they thought it would be Jeb (connotes excitement) that would be elected president one day. Sucks. The thought of seeing W. back in the White House and riding around on Air Force One makes me want to puke. I will seriously consider moving to Canada!

  37. Does anyone else notice the irony of the favorite line we hear over and over again from republicans - the one about getting government out of our business and all that's shit? It's coming from the same idiots that are way overpaid by the same government doing the very thing they're preaching against. I don't know - kind of reminds me of those "family values" the closet cock suckers preach about - they rail against the evil gay thing but THEY are the "evil" gay thing.... And did I hear snotty Scotty give a shout out to his wife and 2 sons but no mention of the daughter? Or did I miss his reference to her?

Has anyone mentioned to this freak how the over reaching bad government pays for his disabled daughter and offers him the life of comfort and privilege - while he justified the destruction of unions and supports - PREACHES- no government hand outs for the less fortunate because people should work for a living. Isn't his whole lifestyle based on the dreaded word -SOCIALISM! His income is straight up - government hand out.
