Well it appears that Ted Cruz is not afraid of the "Palin curse."

Courtesy of The Hill:

"He schooled the media, and that's what the American people are craving, too," Palin, who has long bashed the mainstream media, said in the interview with Newsmax.

"The state of the media ... has been so poor and so unfair," the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee said.

"We have seen such a downfall of what the media has become, that when Ted Cruz spanked them, well we know they deserved to be spanked," she added.

Cruz's campaign tweeted the video as news emerged that the Republican National Committee was suspending its debate relationship with NBC over the way the CNBC face-off was handled.

"Deserve to be spanked." Always with the subtle, and not so subtle, sexual innuendo right Sarah?

Perhaps Cruz, who is polling somewhere around 4th to 7th place in the polls, simply does not think he has anything to lose by cozying up to Palin.

After all her batshit crazy demographic is probably the same folks that Cruz is looking at for support as well. And she HAS been kissing his ass quite a lot recently.

So will this help Ted Cruz, or hurt Ted Cruz.

And since there is a snowball's chance in hell of him winning the nomination, does it even matter?

IT'S the old kill-the-messenger strategy. If Sister Sarry had sat through all the J-classes she professes to have taken she would have studied this in depth. Now the GOP is refusing to work with NBC in a debate because it fears questions about policies and issues? It truly doesn't want to govern; maybe these are auditions for reality shows.

      TRUE.

......What is truly comical is that Levin and other GOP whiners are complaining about “liberal bias” in a debate that was co-sponsored by the RNC and CNBC, a network that caters to wealthy investors. Furthermore, CNBC included on their debate panel Rick Santelli, whose 2009 on-air rant arguably spawned the modern tea party movement. The argument that Santelli is part of a liberal effort to discredit GOP candidates is laughable, but Republicans have so deeply internalized the notion that they are victims, that facts no longer matter.

Few right-wingers embody the victim mentality more thoroughly than Levin. Yet his whiny diatribes command a significant following among the aggrieved conservatives that make up the core base of the Republican Party. Irate conservatives toppled John Boehner for being insufficiently radical, and they could certainly generate enough momentum to overthrow Priebus as well, if they set their mind to it. Mark Levin has fired a salvo at Priebus. Reince’s days as RNC Chair may be numbered.

I suspect Donald Trump to be the person behind this media onslaught! I think he got all the Republican candidates on board with him and they were off and running against the media! It assuredly diverted attention from their horrible display of talent during the debate.

Amazing how our media handles things. They need to get real journalists to research the heck out of the lying Dr. Carson as well as The Donald and Ted Cruz! I suspect all of them have displays of bad conduct in their backgrounds and it needs to be brought to the attention of the voters throughout America.

And, I think Rubio appears like a young, spoiled brat and I didn't think he won the debate. The media fed that mantra to get rid of Jeb Bush!

      I'm not a Republican!

    In the meantime...

Donald Trump has gotten a great deal of mainstream media attention for the number of donations to his campaign, but Bernie Sanders announced that he has surpassed 750,000 donors, which means that he is at minimum more than ten times bigger than Trump.

Republicans to rally for ‘liberty’ with pastor who defends death penalty for gays

Republicans seem to be competing over who will denounce the (nonexistent) persecution of Christians in America the loudest, with Mike Huckabee decrying the supposed “criminalization of Christianity” and Ted Cruz lambasting the “atheist Taliban.”

In a true and just world Mrs. Palin would dust off her high school knee pads, spring for a case of lip gloss and blow every single member of the media became if ever a person was given a pass by same it is she. Regarding the steaming pile of horse shit she burped forth regarding the birth of her DS child, had Bob Woodward or Carl Bernstein still been at the Post they would have followed her scent until they were right up her ass and she'd have been in a mental institution or a jailhouse. She's too dizzy to know how lucky she is, the crazy old tart.

I'm not a big political history buff, but it was so interesting to watch the players all those years back and how the media and the campaign played out during that election.

I hope you find it worth the viewing. I have to say that until Barack Obama came on the scene I was generally not even vaguely interested in politics, so this was an eye opener for sure.
