Donald Trump attempts to shame John Oliver by suggesting that he turned down an opportunity to appear on "Last Week Tonight." Must not know who he is dealing with.

This of course was in response to an interview that Oliver did in which he stated that he "did not really care about Donald Trump" and had zero interest in having him on his show.

However I will assume that the Donald is not a frequent viewer of the program, because if he were he would know better than to make false claims about a show that is now famous to dredging up the truth.

Mediaite suggests that this is a feud between Trump and Oliver, and all I can say is that I really hope that is true, because Oliver is SO much quicker and more intelligent than Trump that it will be a joy to watch him bat his big orange head around like a kitten with a ball of yarn.

Such a Palin thing to say, "I dont want to give that show ratings," but really, she's terrified of the content they'd bring up since she can't control the narrative. How'd she go from telling Katie Couric that she is so appreciative of the press over the years to "Lamestream media that is so sorry the state?" Because they revealed what a hack job embarrassment she was all on her own. That she wasn't Sold American to the majority, only the Ugly Americans that are the antithesis of Christ's teachings they purport to have the corner on. Donald Trump is getting more and more frightened of his brand making scheme dropping in the polls, he's terrified that the novelty is wearing off and he'll be the butt of all jokes once people realize he could never be president.

We need to create the atmosphere that teabillies, wasillabillies, and dentists/construction owners/realtors/dealership owners) conservative businessmen (though Trump is just playing them like a string because he really isn't) need not apply anymore to elected office.

The truth is not their friend.

But he went on Sarah Palin's unheard of guest host show?

Okay, this is going to sound terribly sexist, but I don't care.

I like your kitten reference, Gryph, because I was just thinking that this whole bunch of Republican Presidential hopefuls are a bunch of little Pussy Kitties when it comes to answering simple debate questions.

They don't even rise to the level of Pussy Cats, they're just little Pussy Kitties.

Can any one of them handle John Oliver? Not a chance.

I love the expression "his people"! What a hoot! Imagine if President Obama went around saying that he had had "his people" talk to, say, Putin's "people" about settling whatever latest crisis the Russians are meddling in. Donald Trump is such a caricature of himself. John Oliver will make mincemeat of him if he hasn't already.

Can you imagine a Trump presidency? Feuding left and right? Hey Donald, a hint: the President's job is to unite the country, not feed your bottomless pit of an ego.

Trump doesn't want to be elected President, he wants to be appointed Emperor. Just like Sarah wanted to be crowned Beauty Queen VP.

Memo to El Donaldo: feuding with the likes of John Oliver is biting off way more than you can chew. Oliver will eviscerate you with 9/10ths of his brain tied around his back and you won't know what hit you.

  10. Yes, we have a boring show.

Yes, it could get boring, watching John Oliver have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.

  11. Are you kidding me? When this joke of a Republican Primary is over and Trump is long forgotten he'll be on his hands and knees begging to be on John Oliver. Or a bug spray commercial.

Of course Trump thinks John Oliver is boring. Things are always boring for those not bright enough to understand the issue being discussed.

An infantile man with an arid intellect and apparently no control or shame over what comes out of his mouth. No wonder a certain learned crowd (cough cough) gushes enthusiastically over and embraces his every callow utterance.

That's hysterical, since John doesn't have a show which he invites guests. not one guest has appeared on Last Week Tonight, and that conceited narcissist thinks hes going to be the first?

    1. Yep.

Trump must have Oliver confused with Bill Maher or Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert.

I'm sure they all look alike to him. Not to mention Stewart is off the air, Oliver doesn't have guests and Colbert has moved on to prime time entertainment.

Trump's a high school braggart, gets rejected by the girl and claims he didn't want to take her out, she's homely and he was just trying to do HER a favor...

If he were President, the world would be astounded at things Trump might say, like, "The low-rating UN, the European Union, Middle East, Arab League, Asia/Pacific, the G-7, delegations, etc. etc. asked me to attend their boring meetings; I said, NO THANKS; waste of time and energy!" or "If they don't buy my casinos and golf courses, they're losers!"

I wish i could post a pic of my big kitty, Jerry Cat Stevens, lovingly beating up the baby kitty, Bernie Mac Sanders, as a perfect visual for the feud between Johnny and Donnie (heehee).

  22. It's a battle of wits and Trump is unarmed.

It's going to be a massacre.

Trump better stop now if he knows what's good for him.

Did Mr. "If she wasn't my daughter, I'd date her" say something of substance?

Trump seems to have a problem with breast cancer survivors. First it was Fiorina and now it's Debbie Wasserman Schultz. I have to wonder what he'd do if the daughter he'd date, if only he hadn't fathered her, turned out to have to battle this disease and someone too lazy to read up on someone’s history called Ivanka “a terrible person.” He called Debbie Wasserman Schultz "a terrible person" and very "neurotic." The old sexist comments about emotions and women being hysterical are bad but we know we're dealing with a sexist here. What kills me is how he is always deciding whether someone is a good or bad person. He bases this on one or two things he has heard recently, and that's it. He never takes the time to read up and get people's histories. He has no idea what kind of strength they’ve had to have in order to push through a disease and keep going and achieve things and take care of their families while being treated for cancer. The loved ones of Fiorina and Wasserman Schultz must want to wring that doughy orange neck of his. And breast cancer aside, where does he get off on judging anyone in terms of who they are? He can go ahead and judge these women when it comes to who they are professionally (although everything with him is so black and white—anyone who has made a choice that he wouldn’t is judged to be an idiotic and there is no room for accepting that different people have different reasons for doing what they do), but his way of labeling people as bad/weak/terrible/etc. “people” all the time is disgusting.
