Pro-life Jeb Bush: "Hell yeah" I'd kill baby Hitler.

Courtesy of The Hill:

Former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.) said in an interview Monday that he would personally kill an infant Adolf Hitler.

“Hell yeah, I would!” he told The Huffington Post when asked about killing the Nazi leader as a baby.

“You gotta step up, man,” the 2016 GOP presidential candidate said. "That would be key."

“The problem with going back in history and doing that, as we know from the series -- what’s the series with Michael J. Fox called? The ‘Back to the Future’ series -- is that it could have a dangerous effect on everything else,” Bush added. "But I’d do it. I mean -- [it is] Hitler.”

Actually he is not technically "Hitler."

I mean yes his last name would still be Hitler but he would not yet have gone through the life experiences that ultimately made him a monster.

Killing a baby because you know he will be a mass murderer someday may seem like a no-brainer, but if you consider what that would mean about you as a person it should give you pause.

I mean taking a life to protect the life of others is a difficulty decision on its own, but killing a baby because you believe it may someday cause great misery and loss of life, well that it another thing altogether.

Besides let's fact it. Jeb! is a Bush.

The Bush family does not do their own dirty work.

If anything Jeb?%$! would more than likely delegate the job to somebody else.

Probably Dick Cheney. Somehow I have NO doubt that HE could crush a baby's skull without losing one damn night of sleep over it.

Heck yeah, a baby is small potatoes to them.
They mass murdered almost 3000 on 9/11.

I think it is incredibly telling that Jeb's answer WASN'T "I would adopt him and nurture him and make sure he had good guidance and education so he wouldn't turn out evil.

Nah, too much work. Easier to just snuff him. Gotta step up and murder a baby!

      What a hypocrite.

So Jeb! thinks it's okay to murder a child but not let a brain-dead woman be removed from life support. Jeb! is turning out to be a Palinesque moron.

Old Prescott Bush was in financial cahoots with the Nazis.

Maybe Jeb should rethink this whole "kill Hitler" plan. Without Hitler, Jeb might be selling cars right now.

Yep. Until George H. W. joined the military where he served most honorably. I've wondered if he was embarrassed by the isolationist, pro-Hitler behavior of his family elders. We'll never know. Families like the Bush family do not like to speak frankly about themselves. Even when Papa Bush criticized George W.'s advisors he was careful to insist that he was not criticizing his son.

  12. Hitler was a decent artist. His watercolors show attention to detail, with nice handling of light and color.

He never would have been great, however, he could have had a lucrative career as an illustrator. With mentoring, he might have been able to bring some passion into his work, enough for gallery shows and sales.

Instead of strangling a babe in its cradle, an enlightened time-traveler would have supported his artistic endeavors. He would have joined Kincaid and Keene, rather than Stalin and Pol Pot.

I have seen some of his artwork - pretty much pathetic.
Perhaps it was a desire of his to be an artist - but certainly needed some tutoring and a mentor.

Mankind is not easily deterred from murder.

No one is wholly a bad person. Everyone has the potential to do bad things. Everyone has the potential to reform their ways. No one should be judged. It takes a low person to spend their life hating someone they will never meet. It takes a lower person to Form opinions about strangers

I want to hear how one of the Democrats would answer that question

I don't get how they're a troll. From a psychological perspective, Hitler is fascinating. he was artistic and intelligent and had a lot of friends. He didn't become introduced to anti-semitism until he moved to Vienna and heard Georg von Schonerer and Karl Lueger. One has to wonder -- if he had never moved to Vienna, would he have "become Hitler" (as history remembers him). What if he had been accepted into art school?
The whole "would you kill Hitler" question is stupid as it is. It'd be more interesting to hear "what would you do to stop Hitler from wreaking havok on the world?" I have the feeling most of the candidates don't know enough history to answer that, though.

  25. How in the hell did this ever become a political question???

First off - (snark on) why do the republicans hate Israel? (snark off) The state of Israel might not have become the state of Israel if it weren't for the atrocities committed by Hitler and his stasi goon squads. It was the mass exodus of Jews from Europe who helped form Israel as we know it today. A horrific way to become a country, yes, but it might not have happened - or not in the same time frame - any other way. Tragically, we will never know because, well, no one did anything about Hitler - baby or otherwise - until it was far too late. I would like to think it was because the world thought no one could be that evil but I'm probably given politicians too much credit.

Second: 10:15 look up sociopath in the dictionary.

As a fully functioning Democrat (capital D!) I would like to think that I would remove the child from the environment first to see if the nature vs nurture argument applied. I would hope, like the 9:49 above, that by encouraging his artistic abilities, he might have turned out differently (nurture). If that turned out to not be the case(nature), at least he would not have been in the position to join the army.....

Gee, Hitler was an artist and his actions caused innocent people to die. And Jeb admits he'd hill a baby? Wonder how he'd feel if they substituted another great artist and mastermind of killing innocent people, His brother, President George W. Bush?
This is do or die for poor Jebbie, if he doesn't really stand out in tonight's debate, it's time to pull the plug.

The fact that the man would even entertain such an absurd question, that he would not only dignify it with an answer but also use a piece of pop culture fiction to lend it some supposed gravitas shows the level of insight this dullard possesses. Can you imagine Dick Nixon's reaction to such twaddle? Bill Clinton's? Jack Kennedy's? William F Buckley? This is their idea of a man with a plan? Unfuckingbelievable.

Pro life advocates supporting killing a child due to concerns about how the child will turn out. Imagine if Adult Hitler had raped and impregnated women. Would it be ok for those women to abort child of Hitler resulting from rape? Charles Manson did impregnate a lot of women through rape. What if those women didn't feel that they could make lemonade out of the rape and didn't want to feel their rapist's child grow in them for 9 months?
