How much do Alaskans like Barack Obama? Enough to make him our top Google search that's how much.
I know I voted for him both times and that when he came to Alaska, the population loved having him visit throughout the state. He was warmly welcomed and we look forward to having he and Michelle Obama here again after his second term has been completed.
And, thank you for the outstanding job you are doing, President Obama! All in spite of the Republicans in the United States Congress that have done nothing but obstruct your progress! You are doing a Hell of a job working around them! Continue doing so - Alaskans and the majority in America are behind you!
This why I don't use Google much. It makes me feel like I am being spied on by Google. Most of the time I prefer to use the search engine that does not record what you search for.
You comment to me is uncalled for. Just because I don't want to be spied on does not mean I am afraid of my shadow, or afraid of anything for that matter. I do not want the things that I search for on the internet being looked at and recorded by a search engine, and Google (and some other search engine) do just that. What I search for is my private business. This is why I use a search engine that does not look at or record what you search for.
The president's visit was probably one reason for all the google searches, but there is a massive amount of hate from the Republicans in Alaska and everywhere else for President Obama, almost all of it not based in reality.
Google searches do not necessarily correlate to liking something. It could be your fellow states folk search Obama for more nefarious reasons....

Sounds like you are afraid of your own shadow, 4:06 AM!
ReplyDelete5:19, I don't blame her. I don't like to use Google, either. They DO spy on what you do and what's even worse is they spread it around.
DeleteJust because YOU have no problem with a complete lack of privacy, doesn't mean the rest of us have to be as unconcerned.
You do as you wish and let the rest of us do the same, okay?

I would like to thank Sarah Palin's loyal daughter Bristol for not voting for the palin/McCain ticket which helped Barack Obama become POTUS.
