Just in case you thought Alaska was going to start treating every one equally without somebody trying to stop it. Nope.

"That didn’t take long, did it? Less than two months after the Assembly passed a ground breaking civil rights ordinance, a group of 10 women are leading the effort to repeal it."

This bullshit about transgender folks haunting restrooms for the opportunity to assault our children is such a weak argument.

First off as we have said before gay or transgender is NOT the same as being a pedophile. THAT is the shit that certain Baptist Temples in Anchorage try to shove down the throats of their congregants.

We have no more to fear from a transgender person using the same bathroom as our child than we do from ANY OTHER PERSON using the same bathroom as our child.

By the way let me just mention how nice it is to see John Tracy back reporting the news.

He was my go to local anchor back when he was at KTUU, and I really miss his reporting skills.

As the spokesperson for the YMCA says they have been quietly using the restrooms in many public places for years without any problems.

I turned on my television yesterday morning, and imagine my surprise to see a transgender lady that shops at my grocery store on the local morning news show. She was there to promote a Christmas musical that she and some local musicians have put together for a huge performance .

She's about six feet, six inches tall, with long blond hair, and today she was dressed in a gorgeous, black sequin minidress. She never dresses like that at the grocery store.

The 10-12 piece band is great, the performance is all swing music written for Christmas, and, best part...my girl is a rockin' great singer! She was amazing!

I can't wait til I see her at the store next time! I might even bother her in the bathroom to tell her what a great singer she is!

All Christians and Republicans do these days is lie, scream, holler and rant and rave - spreading hate, fear and nastiness.

Fuck all of them is my mantra these days. I'm really sick and tired of their idiocy and the fact they follow their leader at the Anchorage Baptist Temple like white, wooly animals!

Give them Porta Potties so they can't hurt anyone but themselves.

Throw in free designer shit paper to carry in their trendy tote bags.

    Any questions?

      Yeah, I have a question:

You said, "Give them Porta Potties...."

Could you be a little more specific? Them who?

Was nice seeing Tracy on the air again - interesting he's appearing on Channel 11 vs Channel 2 (his old home).

Why is it, when LGBT issues come up, supposed "Straight" folks's minds go directly to the bathroom? Anyone have an answer for that, because I've been using public rest rooms all my life and never saw nor heard anything close to sexual going on, unless you count some fool breathing heavy and moaning while constipated.
This news reporter is spot on, there's a door with a lock on it.... problem solved.

3:57, how about looking at it from another angle?

The number of people who have been together for years, who have slept in the same bed for years and have had children together, but won't even consider using the toilet when the other person is in the room never ceases to amaze me. (Okay, I can make allowances for an "odiferous" session....)

Good grief! It's something EVERYONE has to do, after all, and yet they are so up tight about it they can't function if someone else is present, even though they are extremely familiar with that person! Why?

Hell, it's no wonder they worry about things like this. They have been trained to be that way, of course. They have had it so hammered into them, they can't even talk about sex when in the company of their close friends! Hell, some of them can't talk about it when alone! Do they think their friends believe their children were created in a test tube?

As for the other side of the question, they simply refuse to admit that there is a far greater chance of their children being "attacked" or "exposed" when in the company of their fellow church goers than anywhere else!

They seem to have to have someone to point at with the finger of accusation rather than look to their own circle.

Admitting something like that would, of course, be admitting it ISN'T the LGBT community that is the threat, but their own people, so they attack the "outsiders" - and probably by someone who has tendencies of their own in that direction.
