Merry Christmas IMers!

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

I think Santa has been here and I can hardly wait to open my gifts.

Here's hoping that you have an awesome celebration as well.

  10. Likewise Gryphen, and thank you. Last year, my husband was in the hospital from the 22nd to New Years Eve day, so this one didn't have to do much to better it. I'm on my desktop in the office; he's on his laptop in the den, but home today, each of us with nice new gifts.

So warm here in Virginia our grass is starting to pop up after what should have been the season's final cut till April, and hubby tells me they're worried in Washington D.C. that the cherry trees are beginning to bud much too prematurely. Tornado warnings over half the southern states back on Wednesday. Where's that lippy bitch Jim Inhofe and his goddamn snowball now?

A happy holiday week to all IMers. :)

    1. We just had our second tornado... in California. :(

Otherwise, we finally have some decent snowpack after too many years of drought, and there ought to be more on the way. It won't save the last of the glaciers, but every flake is precious.

(And, yes, I'm partial to snowflakes as any visitor to my gallery can attest.)

Have a great day, Gryphen and all the IMers. Yesterday, here in the South, it was warm, sunny, and in the 70s. I opened a can of pineapple, closed my eyes and pretended I was in Hawaii! Almost worked. It was also my birthday and I had one of the best ones ever. May everyone who posts here enjoy the day, the rest of the holidays, and stay safe.

Merry Christmas, Gryphen and the fabulous IM community!

It's a good thing I didn't see the Bristol post before I went to the grocery store, or I wouldn't have made it! As it was, dinner was at a Chinese restaurant; the official excuse was that the man had to work late unexpectedly, but the other truth is that I was glued to the comment section of IM. :-)

  20. Merry Christmas all! Despite what Fox News might claim, I'm betting 'gun stuff' was not the most popular present item this year. I'm betting "Star Wars stuff" has got that beat by a mile. I know our collective stashes had far, far more Star Wars than guns. How about yours?

CHRISTMAS: Bill Clinton's Childhood Hope, Arkansas, Home Damaged by Suspected Arsonist: Cops

Where is Track Palin? Todd was playing golf recently nearby. The Wasilla Bible Church arson was never solved. It looks like a cover up. Only rumors about who did it and no one in Wasilla cared.

What is it about Christmas season that brings out the arson?

Merry Christmas, or whatever you celebrate. Nothing better than getting together with family on a holday, except for two seconds after the last guest leaves. 364 shopping days before the next consumerist orgy!
All joking aside, the best to all, especially health and good fortune.
