The new chairperson of senate committee that oversees education in Arizona believes church should be mandatory, the earth is only 6,000 years old, and that chem trails in the sky are manipulating the weather.

Courtesy of 12 News:

An Arizona lawmaker who believes the Earth is 6,000 years old is the new chairwoman of the state Senate committee that oversees education-related legislation.

Here are a few of state senator Sylvia Allen's more controversial viewpoints:

The earth is only six thousand years old.

Church attendance should be mandatory:

The original comment occurred during a vote on legislation to allow individuals who have permits to carry concealed weapons to bring them into public buildings. Allen said she did not understand the opposition and talked about moral breakdown.

“Probably we should be debating a bill requiring every American to attend a church of their choice on Sunday to see if we can get back to having a moral rebirth,” adding “that would never be allowed.”

Sen. Allen also thinks there is something hinky about those chem trails in the sky:

Ok, I do not want to get into a debate about weather. However, I know what I see weekly up here on the flat where I live outside of Snowflake. The planes usely, three or four, fly a grid across the sky and leave long white trails streaming behind them. I have watched the chem-trails move out until the entire sky is covered with flimsy, thin cloud cover. It is not the regular exhaust coming from the plane it is something they are spraying. It is there in plain sight. What is it they are leaving behind that covers the sky?

Things are happening all around us that we see everyday and just don't get what it is. I think we throw the "conspiracy theory" at people when we don't understand or have the information they have so we try and explain it that way. Plus we just don't want to believe that our government would do anything terrible to us. Well, just a few examples, the IRS attack on the Tea Party, Benghazi, wire taping, Fast and Furious just to name a few and we think that they would not manipulate our weather?

Okay so why is Sarah Palin selling her Arizona home and moving back to Alaska again?

If these are not her people, then who is?

These people get elected by other ignorant and/or stupid folk. If we go by the popularity of an idiot like Trump it seems there are an abundance of them.

I've spent time in that part of the world. Snowflake and that part of AZ (White Mountains) is rural conservative and Mormon. It is pretty country but super socially conservative. As late as the 1980's a hand came down in front of the projector during love scenes.

  4. She says she's from "outside of Snowflake". Hmmm....Isn't that where Travis Walton of the movie FIRE IN THE SKY is from? That kind of explains why she's nutty but it doesn't tell me a damn thing about why she's an idiot.

How does she reconcile the half life issue if the earth is 6000 years old?

    http://www.ask.com/science/half-life-uranium-d4cc5262a78f7acd

I chose a simple search on purpose, I am aware there are other types of the isotope with different half lives.

I usely ignore lunatics like this, I tried to imitate her and it gave me a headache. If she changed "church" to "school", then we'd find some common ground, but the problem is she relies on believing and not on facts.

I have a serious question. How does someone like this earn a wage or even get ahead in life?

There is a defect in the human genome that makes people as stupid as this woman and others like her.

We won't be around to see it happen but survival of the fittest will eventually eliminate people like this from the gene pool.

Wishful thinking, I'm afraid. Have a gander at the rates of population growth. For example, European nations are severely graying. Compare that with theocratic peoples and their ignorance and policies regarding reproduction and birth control.

financial. She can take her house proceeds and afford to buy a place in Virginia or

Gryphen, I dont think you're getting the story quite right.

It's not the chemtrails that are manipulating the weather: it's The Jewz (or possibly The Muslins) manipulating the chemtrails which are, in turn, affecting the weather. You see, by concentrating high-energy thought rays in the brain and reconcirculating them in a focused beam at unsuspecting Xtians, these people - aka The Others - are able to create powerful hurricanes, make us forget where we put our keys and bring down skyscrapers, also too. (See "Towers, World Trade Center: 9/11 Conspiracy Truth Revealed!")

Only a high-tech security chapeau fashioned from 3 layers of freezer-strength aluminum foil and hot glue can prevent them from entering our brains with their invisible mind-control laser beams for their satanic chemtrailerian schemes!

You've been warned! The answers are all available on low-powered shortwave radio programming bravely produced by lonely fearful middle aged patriots in their underwear fearlessly plumbing the depths of Scripture in order to determine precisely what sort of biblical scale catastrophe looms on the horizon just around the corner!

A new poll shows that if elections were held today, Donald Trump would get annihilated, obliterated, or as the Republican billionaire would put it, schlonged by Democratic hopeful Bernie Sanders in a general election. Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac poll said:

    “Sen. Bernie Sanders hammers him.”

The poll shows Trump would get schlonged by a wide 51-38 margin and Hillary Clinton would also beat Trump in a general election by a 47-40 margin.

That wasn’t the end of the bad news for Trump. The national poll found up to 61 percent of Americans say Trump “does not share their values,” 58 percent are convinced he “is not honest and trustworthy,”and 57 percent say he “does not care about their needs and problems.”

The poll also found that GOP voters seem to be out of touch with the rest of the electorate when it comes to Trump’s electability. 70% of GOP voters believe that Trump actually has a good chance of winning, while only 41% of Americans at large believe he can win. A majority of 51% believe he would get schlonged in a general election.

LISTEN: Sarah Palin’s ‘The Little Dumber Girl’ Is The Funniest Political Christmas Carol EVER (AUDIO)

...Along comes song parody god “Rocky Mountain Mike” from the nationally syndicated Stephanie Miller Show with a Christmas song parody that will actually make you laugh. In this case, it’s a parody of the classic Little Drummer Boy, but appropriately titled, “The Little Dumber Girl.” Backed with word-salady audiobook excerpts from Sarah Palin’s book Good Tidings, Great Joy, the song is fairly self-explanatory. By the way, somehow Palin is capable of publishing books, thanks to a poor, poor ghost-writer.

A new Fox News Nation online poll asked readers who they would vote for if the election were held today. It looks like Fox News fans are feeling the Bern.

As the poll currently stands, Bernie Sanders has a commanding lead at 47 percent with nearly 56427 votes cast. Donald Trump is second at 25 percent. 15% for

Attacking the messenger and not the message, commonly refereed to as
ad hominem. Apparently you saw the web link name I posted and immediately dismissed it based on scientific bias. Had you taken the time to copy paste to your browser, you would have seen they link to government pdf documents. One is a patent on aerosol spraying as it deals with weather engineering, and the second is a government committee document of the 95th Congress on the study of the affects weather modification.
You can call me a nutball and I will where the title proudly for I no longer operate from ego.
The fact is I spent 20 years in the USAF, 2 of which I spent at an undisclosed location on a highly classified project loading aerosol tanks on government contracted aircraft. So I speak from experience and not from the hip.
Keep your head in the sand, but I highly recommend having your blood tested for increased barium, strontium and aluminum before you completely dismiss the premise of this issue.

    Senator Allen <> Sarah Palin
Senator Allen sincerely believes what she says, even if misguided. She probably truly is a practicing Christian who goes to church regularly. Sarah Palin is not. Sarah Palin is fake. Sarah Palin lies. There is a big difference between Allen and Palin. Allen says things that are wrong because she believes them to be true. Palin says things that are wrong knowing full well that they're wrong and that's she's lying. She doesn't give a shit as long there's something in it for her.

Allen might do the wrong things, but for the right reasons. Palin does the wrong things for the wrong reasons. She does things for no other reason than that she is self-serving.

Anyone mention Sylvia Allen's Campaign for worker's rights yet? Well she is in favor of her son's rights anyway.

    http://wonkette.com/580298/arizona-wingnut-senator-not-big-on-worker-rights-except-maybe-for-her-son-in-laws

So she’s not exactly the person you’d expect to sponsor a bill to strengthen workers’ rights against their bosses investigating allegations of misconduct. OK, maybe not all workers — just cops and correctional officers, really.

Funny thing, really, since her son-in-law is a former detention officer who was accused of sexual misconduct with a female prisoner.

It’s amazing how these things just sort of work out, isn’t it?

Last year, then-Navajo County Supervisor Allen tried to interfere with an internal investigation into her son-in-law’s conduct with female inmates in the Navajo County jail.

This year, Allen has moved on to the state Senate where she sponsored a bill aimed at ensuring that others don’t have to endure what she sees as a witch hunt against her son-in-law.
