Things heat up as Dakota Meyer is forced to provide a paternity test.

Courtesy of the Daily Mail:

Dakota Meyer, the former fiancĂ© of Bristol Palin, is being forced to take a paternity test in an increasingly bitter custody battle over her new baby.

Court documents seen by Daily Mail Online reveal that Meyer's bid for joint custody in a suit filed in Kentucky and Alaska has stalled pending the results of the paternity test.

Now Meyer's family have told Daily Mail Online they are 'hurt' over the doubt that has been cast and insisted that Meyer 'has a right to that child', whose birth Palin announced on December 24.

Speaking from the family home in Greensburg, Kentucky, Meyer's grandmother, Jean, 85, said: 'It happens every day that a mother tries to keep a child from the father and you just have to deal with it.

'But I would say it does hurt [to have to prove paternity]. But that's just the way the law is – you have to get permission here and permission there.

'I really think Dakota will do the right thing and I think he has a right to that child.'

Well putting Granny's feelings aside for the moment I would think that Dakota would be the one asking for this paternity test, but if the Daily Mail is correct it is the Palin camp demanding the test.

That could only mean that Bristol either knows full well the child is not his, or suspects that the child is not his.

Is now too early to say I told you so?

And again I say that the cousin said they were thrilled it did not come out black. "We can work with this," paraphrasing. Translated: drunken slut that 'ruined her life' and now they are trying to find someone to pin it on.

On this day that marks Elvis Presley's 82nd birthday, anyone else think that $arah's life is made up of puppy uppers and doggie downers to get her through a day as was his in the end?

I don't suppose they were fearful it was Obama's fault that she didn't use protection. Her answer would be that she did because her body guard was right there with her as she performed the act and besides she had a gun. How precious is that! Bah hahaha!

So yeah, Bristol Palin, former abstinence spokesperson, just had another out-of-wedlock child from a second sperm donor.

I think that unless a man is in a stable relationship or marriage he would be wise to request a paternity test, and any family law atty would make sure one was done before taking on legal responsibilities for 18 yrs.

DM is fun for reading sensational stuff, but their journalism is laughable.

I think they may have gotten it wrong, or perhaps they interviewed the grandparents before they even knew what was going on and they themselves are confused.

Yeah, this could only go in his favor whatever the results. Either his name will be cleared or he will be entitled to "a part" of that child. (kinda creepy, huh)

11:44. I don't know what your outrage is about. Not saying that the innocent baby is creepy, but that the grandma's way of expressing her desire for Dakota to have joint custody was unfortunate.

I just re-read the DM article, and I swear that they may have edited, but the first time it said that Dakota had a right to a "part" of that child. Now since it's no longer there I don't remember but it hit me as kind of ironically macabre, but I know that the grandma didn't mean it that way.

The Mail exploited an elderly woman who likely doesn't have a clue about DNA and is, unfortunately, a Republican who thinks anytome, anything legal and a slight imposition on her or her family's "why cain't we do as we did 80/years (or as my grandparents did 150/years)ago did" attitude is somehow the "Obama gubmint's fault?

      Delete
  6. Anonymous11:31 AM

I think Meyer is playing this just right. He isn't making any accusations that the baby isn't his, but by going to court for joint custody, Bristol has to prove the baby is or isn't his. It's perfect - he doesn't have to sling mud.

He has stood up to take responsibility, so no more "deadbeat" dad stuff. He looks good, Bristol is in a lose, lose. I think the DM article is Sarah trying to "take charge" of the message.

Not saying I wouldn't really enjoy watching Bristol's discomfiture if the test comes back negative for Meyer. Just pointing out that Meyer having to take a paternity test does not prove that either party directly asked for it.

Something has been brewing in the back of my mind since yesterday and I think I've figured it out. I want to be wrong, because this is an extremely ugly solution to Bristol's predicament.

So, the article leads us to believe that the Palin camp wants a paternity test to be performed on Dakota to see if he is the father. Why would the Palins want people thinking that Bristol had sexual intercourse with another man during the timeframe of when she became pregnant?

Answer: If Dakota is proven not to be the father of Sailor, Bristol tearfully announces that he is the only man she had *consensual* sexual relations with, and since she is pro-life, there was never a thought to having an abortion.

Boom, Sarah and Bristol are back making money giving speeches about how even in the case of rape, you should never choose abortion.

I am *not* attacking women or men who are victims of sexual assault in any way, shape, or form. I'm saying that I believe that the Palins would use the sympathy we all feel for those victims, to repair their image and make money.

This is odd. First, there's nothing on the docket yet to show the Palins have been served. There's nothing on the docket filed by Palins yet. Unless the 1/4/2016 Confidential filing is a demand by Palin to prove paternity. But there's no court documents online for this case at least at the Alaska court site. So where's Daily Mail seeing these "documents".

Also, look at the screen shot of the paperwork, the "Pending action to establish paternity" is dated 12-29-15, a few days before the custody paperwork was filed in Alaska. I think the paternity test is just part of the process.

Do we have to have blood tests done?
No. If nobody asks for blood tests, the court does not have to order them. However, if anyone asks, the court must order blood or genetic testing. The parents may have to pay for some or all of the testing costs.

What happens after the man is found to be the father of a child by the court?
The court will issue orders on custody, visitation and child support. The court can also change the child's last name to the father's last name.

Dakota and the baby have a right to know if he is the Father. Since he is pursuing custody the courts are taking
actions to determine his legal status

Bristol could have filled it out or Sarah had help from doctors to do whatever with a birth certificate.

No one is focusing on it. I suppose Dakota has no right to see it until he is determined to be the father.

However, if he was named as father, I would think he would be entitled to the birth certificate.

I bet Dakota's fed Grandma a story about this pregnancy. But what it amounts to is that NOBODY believes Bristol that the baby is Dakota's. Not the courts, not Dakota, not the Palins... since they claim they're insisting on it. Gods, that's so funny! The only way Sarah and Bristol can slap Dakota's face is by saying that Dakota's NOT the babydaddy, and they're too dumb to realize they're admitting she's a slut and too stupid to contracept!

That is so typical of Sarah. Get pissed off immediately and hit back without thinking! I bet the canned tuna was hitting the fridge most of the day when she heard this!

"There, in black and white is a date that appears to read November 4 – placing the birth almost two months before Palin claimed.
Just two weeks after she says she gave birth to Sailor, Bristol hit the shooting range to show off her gun skills with family and friends.
The 25-year-old took to Instagram to share a photo of herself aiming what appear to be an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, as well as a short video that sees her shooting a handgun at a target, during a firearms training class with Mat-Su Tactical." Daily Mail

I hope they explore the history of the Palins and how they communicate with gun imagery vs their actual skill level.

Palinese is like learning another language. Bristol used the gun image language in the TV show with Tripp. She blew up a book for Tripp to have a memory of how she handled her problems with people as she taught her son.

Sarah used the language with Gabby Gifford in Tucson and so on.

It is very common for the judge to order the paternity test, otherwise it would be a waste of the courts time to proceed at all if the man is not the biological father. It must be a standard practice when any man files for joint custody for his biological child, that a court have proven record that he is that 'biological father'. It's a requirement; I can't see how he is being 'forced' to take a paternity test. I think the Daily Mail is over-reaching here.

Once the results of this test are given, the whole case will be absolved or pursued. He is either the father, or not the father.

  65. Anonymous12:53 PM

I get that it's the court that has required the test. But that aside, if during the pregnancy there was any question that Dakota was not the father, that could have been taken care of by a non-invasive test using his and Bristol's blood after the first couple months. If he thought she had slept with someone else and wanted to know if she was carrying his baby, he could have asked for a test. Same with her. It sounds like neither of them wanted to know. It sounds like he had written her off and was feeling pretty positive that the baby was not his. And it sounds like she didn't care if it was his or not--if she had slept with someone else, by not taking a test she could buy a lot of time and avoid the media publishing word of her cheating and not knowing who had gotten her pregnant. If some part of her had wanted to make things work with Dakota, even if she swore that she had been faithful, she could have had the test done to show him that he was the father. If she knew he was the daddy, if she was at all interested in doing things for the sake of the child she would have had the test and then worked to get Dakota involved--and I believe he would have readily become involved if he knew that kid was his. What's happening now could have been avoided. I think that no matter who the daddy would be, she was just once again doing what she and her mother always do. They're control freaks and cut people out of their lives and then love being punitive.

Interesting tidbit here on KY Dom/Rel law:

"Under Kentucky law, hospitals must provide unmarried mothers with the forms and information necessary to acknowledge paternity voluntarily."

    Custody & Visitation"

"If parents are not married to each other at the time of a child’s birth, Visitation the mother is presumed to have custody. However, once legal paternity is established, the father can petition the court for visitation rights and/or for a share in custody arrangements."

No wonder Barstool ran off to Alaska. If Sailor is not DM's child it was cruel of her to lead him and everyone else on. If Sailor IS DM's child she's an evil bitch for doing everything she legally could to help Sailor have an bonding and loving relationship with her father.

Am still confused about the angle of the DM article.

The article's quotes seem to imply the grandparents are affronted that DM has to prove his paternity. They speak as though they're certain he's the father. The grandmother implies that the 'girl' doesn't want Dakota in this child's life.

Someone is lying. Sarah says he was contacted and refuses to be involved; grandmother says that the Palins don't want him involved. If we had to choose between who the liar was, it would be pretty easy.

So, how does this new information help in solving the motivations with these crazy Palins? What is their goal? To just go ballistic and trash the Meyers, without any thought to what they're saying? Trashing him as a deadbeat before a legal choice has been made, makes them appear absolutely ignorant. What is their motive?

Is this just Sarah and Bristol losing their drive to fake and deceive? They seem to really be losing their edge with their con. All they do is whine and blame anyone, anytime, anywhere. When will Sarah blame Obama?

    1) Bristol Palin wasn't even in Alaska when Dakota Meyer first went to Alaska in the summer of 2014 (not 2013) to film the last episode of Amazing America. 2) Dakota Meyer isn't the one being forced to take a DNA test to establish paternity. That's what he WANTS. Bristol and her screwed-up mother are the ones being forced to admit to the test, because if there isn't a test, they can innuendo anything they want to, which they've done the whole time Bristol has been pregnant with this baby. So, if there's any delay, you can bet it's from the Palin camp. 3) Tripp Palin-Johnston is 7 years old now, not 6. December 2008 to December 2015 = 7 years.

They all have the same name...

Did they steal each other's name?

    Are they plagiarists?

Don't you find it amusing that Dakota is ready to accept Sailor as his daughter if it is proven he is the father.
On the other note, the grandparents, cousins and aunts, etc. don't want anything to do with Sailor or Bristol. No happy comments from Todd or Track either.

if Dakota is not the father, we may never know the true date of birth, unless a criminal complaint is filed about palin deception.

This is all pretty riveting stuff especially if you've been reading everything ever since McCain announced the turd he was about to lay on the USA. What a sordid narrative, I feel bad for us as a country. And to think he still hasn't apologized. Mind boggling. I guess going to any lengths to win an election can backfire pretty impressively.

However this turns out, Alaska and the lower 48 will know Bristol slept around while with Dakota. How come Sarah is the only one proud of her?

Oh my, what happens if Trig demands a paternity test to find out if Todd, Track or someone else is his father and who is his mother? Is his mother Sarah, Bristol, Todd's prostitute or Todd's girlfriend?
