We are seeing the results of 7 years of hate spewed out by Fox News. They didn't give birth to this monster but they gave it food and shelter and helped it to flourish.

And, despite all of that, President Obama has been one of our most successful presidents and one of our most beloved.

Yeah, because President Obama is black, but also a Democrat. Folks, let's face it: Democrats have been out Foxed. There's your clue!

Yes, mad as hell. And yet in spite of it, he has been a way better president than we deserve.

Makes me think of people who think Bernie is an impractical choice. If we had known this list of travesties against Obama would be actual fact -- if we had known it at election time -- we might not have elected Obama. And we would be the worse for it.

So I say let's vote for the right person in spite of the terrible forces that will make governing so hard for that person.

    I wish it were easier.

Oh YES WE WOULD HAVE elected President Obama even if we knew ahead of time what the racist element had in store for him. We would not let the racist element influence who we vote for.
It is absurd to even think we would not have voted for President Obama because of racist bastards.
That's just as absurd as saying if we knew all those civil rights activists would be stoned, dogs sicced on them, and thrown in jail, we would not have launched the civil rights movement.

Senator Obama knew the obstacles he would face as president, and he addressed them in the 60 Minutes interview ("I don't think about $arah Palin" LOL). It is a testament to his character and resolve.

I was proud to vote for him twice and I would again in a heartbeat. He will be sorely missed!

Obama is and was more of a centrist than Sanders.

What we should learn from Obama is that when Sanders makes promises about a revolution and all the changes that are going to come about, those promises need to be viewed in the realm of reality. I think a lot of Sanders supporters don't understand how the government works.

I am looking forward to making history again, electing the first woman president of these United States.

If Obama lost, we'd have had four years of Hillary, and I'm sure President Obama would have taken a position in her administration, because he genuinely cares about our country and it's people. The slope that the GOP is sliding down will eventually destroy it. First Mc Cain/Palin, then Mitt, and presumably Trump. Losers with no plan for anything.
Yes, it does sadden me because of how much more he possibly could have accomplished with some cooperation from the other side, and that chart is the truth, especially the last point.

It makes me mad as hell too! And I agree with you, we should vote for the right person in spite of the terrible forces that will make governing so hard for that person.

However, you totally lost me on your idea that this makes you think of people who think Bernie is an impractical choice. In case you haven't noticed Bernie isn't a person of color, he's an older white male candidate. He's not an impractical choice at all, some of his ideas are definitely impractical, but he's the norm. He will face opposition from Republicans like any other non Republican would, but he won't face the same kind of adversity a black or a female President would have to face.

But hey, adversity can only make you stronger so I have no problem voting for the right person, even if she is an impractical choice.

I am angered beyond words at the evil blatant racism that those bastards have demonstrated against President Obama. Pure evil.

We love you President Obama, and those of us who love you are so saddened about the racial hatred, mistreatment, and abuse you have had to endure.

How can "we the people" let this happen? How can WE tell those GOP racist thugs we won't take it, that we WILL NOT let President Barack Obama's term end on that disgusting note?

I am serious. I want to do more than write a letter that will be immediately dropped in a GOP fat cat's trash bin by some intern he's probably doing.

  9. Will anything change if Congress is still Republican after the election? Yes, if Trump is elected. Buckle up.

We cannot let Trump or any other Repub win in November. This is why it is imperative that we make sure Democrats are registered and ready to vote next fall.
Voter drives are in order her. Democrats have poor voting practices and that is why most of the governors, senators, and representative are Repub.

    ANOTHER FIRST:

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, in anastoundingly telling moment halfway through President Obama's first term, told a reporterwhat had been the guiding strategy of Republicans in Congress. "The single most important thing we want to achieve," McConnell said, "is for President Obama to be a one-term president."

History will not be kind to the GOP/bags. They will have to change names again! but it will not help them because the stink follows them everywhere. The whole shithouse is going down in flames.
