These guys can't even find their way to the debate stage, and yet they want to run the country?
Okay once again, because perhaps I heard this wrong.
Ben Carson is a BRAIN surgeon right?
Man have I been giving those guys WAY too much credit over the years.
Just an aside, the idiots who knew exactly what to do are all seasoned politicians. The idiots who don't have a clue are, well...they are what they are. The idiots who ran the show forgot one of their participants. What a clown show. Of idiots.
As soon as I saw that idiot Carson go back when he heard Ted Cruz's name, I had to stop the video. Cringe-worthy! I should relish their making asses of themselves, but it was just too much. Why am I embarrassed??
I think my favorite is when the stage crew tries to motion him to go on the stage and he just grins. The guy eventually gives up. Sometimes you can't fix stupid.
OT-GOOD SUPER SUNDAY READ> http://www.salon.com/2016/02/07/god_is_not_a_prude_this_is_why_religion_remains_so_sex_obsessed_why_we_pretend_jesus_was_born_of_a_virgin/
We all know the rethugs are ridiculously without logic or reason(slow minded , dipsticks, imbeciles etc.) How do categorize their supporters? The same?
Trump wanted to be called out on stage the last (except for poor Katich) -- he wanted to "own" the room. I don't think it works out for him as he'd expected.
I completely agree. They all know how the ordering is determined. Trump wasn't happy enough that he would have the very center podium. He had to be mister important and enter last. That is absolutely what Trump was going for.
And while Carson is a weird guy who often seems doped up, to me it looked like Trump had spoken with Carson beforehand and Carson held back on purpose so as to go out with his new best friend Trump. Trump is using him because of what happened with Cruz' people during the Iowa caucuses. He's also now got a black man as his bestie and is hoping that helps him out. And when Carson does eventually drop out, Trump will expect a good # of votes to go his way. Trump knows he has lost the Latino vote and won;t get any of those when either Rubio or Cruz is out. He wants to get as many African American votes as he can to help him beat Cruz or Rubio. And he's also using what happened with Cruz/Carson to make himself look like the nice older brother taking care of little Ben. Everything with Trump is calculated and about using people. He's a pig.
When I watched it live, I was like OMG WTH? But after re-watching this morning, I can clearly see that Carson didn't hear his name so he was waiting, then Trump didn't hear HIS name so he also waited, then the people in the back were like "GO! GO!" but they just stood there anyway, then Jeb heard HIS name and walked past like WTH? And then they called again for Carson and he heard it and walked out, then Trump, who heard it and walked out. Then forgot Kasich, OMG lol...and later in the debate, Carson expressed upset that he was told he was going to be called second and they didn't do that - they did, but he didn't hear it...so yeah, a big cluster you know what. But not necessarily because they are clowns from the clown car. This time. ;)
Here's what I think happened. Carson was half-asleep when his name was called so he didn't hear it. Donald probably didn't hear his name called either since he is too vain to wear a hearing aid (that might show weakness since he is all about strength). Not sure what happened with Kasich. Maybe Cruz told the moderators that he suspended his campaign?
All these comments... are just bullshit. Watch a video of it; they called Carson's name just as the noise from applause began and he didn't hear it; I barely did. Just a major fuckup all-around on the part of the staff. When he didn't come out they should have repeated his name. Don't blame the candidates; it was not their fault.
Balzafiar, by "all" these comments I hope mine wasn't included. That's exactly what my post said, it wasn't their fault, they just didn't hear their names and didn't want to do the wrong thing so they did nothing.
JillyG, no, not at all. Just the ones who were saying what they thought the candidates did was on purpose to make each other look bad, or more important, or whatever.
I also thought after I posted that comment that the should not have called their names so close together, like they were in a rush to populate the stage. Even ten seconds would have made all the difference. I felt bad for Dr. Carson because of his confusion. Mr. Trump stopped when he did because Dr. Carson was stopped so that just made matters worse.
also, it's problematic when Bush and Kasich and Christie owned the debate like they did. What the hell? I don't like ANY of them but they dominated in a huge way, IMO. I even had moments of liking them!
Anon 12:21, yeah, you're right. And I have the misfortune of having Kasich as my governor. OMG no way can he get anywhere near the White House! I just loved how the three of them took control of the front runners. It was impressive and somehow satisfying to watch.
That Ben Carson is one weird dude! A brain surgeon? And, he's suppose to be an outstanding one? Just don't believe it. His responses are so slow and he ALWAYS makes me nervous to watch him.
These are god awful Republican candidates in that clown car!
How Donald Trump remains #1 is beyond me. He must be paying people when they do the poll calls. I know I've never gotten one!
Does anyone find Donald Trump as unattractive physically as do I? He turns red in the face - has blotchy skin - makes horrible expressions that are darn right ugly and frightening. Plus, he's a bully and racist!
I can't fathom his actual election as POTUS! He'd be horrible and has already embarrassed our country nationally.
I say, fuck you, Donald Trump!
Which makes me wonder how may other people have used that expression to his face? Know I'd love to have the opportunity. He his guards around him, but mouths can still work effectively and he can't be protected in that manner!
I hope Christie doesn't bust it loose, could be quite comical if it didn't register as a seismic event. Can't wait for Bad Lip Reading's "Take" on all the debates. Just hope they don't mention Suprano's boat's name.
OT Has the Palin Facebook been cleaned of negative comments? I'm not a FB user but I remember others saying how negative the comments were. I just looked and it is filled with compliments and very pro-Trump.
It was appalling television and entirely ABC's fault. I only saw a few bits on Youtube but I really thought at one point that Christie was going to mouth the Rubio spiel in unison. I wonder if Rubio would have had the brain power to segue into something else or if he was so programmed that he'd have to just stop talking. Maybe we'll find out if they both survive to the next debate.
I went back and listened twice or three times, and both Carson and Trump were called by a woman's voice, which was very soft in comparison to the booming male voice calling the other candidates.
This tells me something Freudian about both of these guys. They don't listen to women.
Hey, guys, women are more than half the voters in this country. Better get up to speed.
Reminded me of a constipation commercial being played out live. Poor Ben fell asleep, then grumpy took his lead, Dopey heard his name and booked for the stage. "Hey, did you see that, Mommy? I got there two seconds after realizing my last name is Bush!!!!!".
Yes, Dr Carson was a brain surgeon. According to statistics, somewhere there must be the world's worse brain surgeon, and some schmuck has an appointment tomorrow. Sad, but true.
LOL !!! that was the bestest debatest ever !!! Loved the beginning....the introduckion? Carson was on brain drugs and the rest? what a bunch of dopes. I have never laughed so hard at these clowns. And then? the tits for tats, jabs and blabs. You tried to steal some old ladies property Donald! Bush. Yes ya did !! too funny. Then SNL...lol. so? bottom line, women that dont stand up and don't help other women have a special place in hell.
Why the goofy, patrician candidate is finally hitting his stride.
...The demise of Jeb Bush has been a source of immeasurable pleasure for, well, nearly everyone. His campaign is a nine-figure boondoggle that suckered cronies from Greenwich and Dallas into investing in a can’t-miss-opportunity. That grating WASP aura of entitlement he wore melted nearly instantly with a choice piece of hectoring about his paucity of energy. Pundits took so much pleasure in Jeb Bush’s plummet that they couldn’t imagine it could ever be reversed.
With his few remaining breaths as a candidate, however, Bush may have a path out from his debacle, an actual shot at the nomination. For months, he tried and failed to crush Sen. Marco Rubio. But he wielded the hatchet like a man who would rather be sailing. What he needed was a wingman. Last night, Gov. Chris Christie, with his bully’s instinct for weakness, baited the golden boy into choking—thereby, relieving Bush of all the throbbing pressure to stage a miraculous New Hampshire comeback.
Happy Chinese New Year.
ReplyDeleteTo celebrate, please remember to spank your monkey like the GOP candidates did during the debate.

ReplyDeleteIs Trump deaf? What a knob. I can't wait to find out who he blames for this.
ReplyDeleteHe's trying to be fashionably later than Carson, who's asleep at the wheel.
