Fox cancels GOP debate after Donald Trump refuses to attend.

"Excuse me I can't come to your debate, that's the night I'm doing my hair."
Courtesy of CNN Money:

Dan Hayes, the general manager of the Salt Palace Convention Center, which was scheduled to host the debate, said he had "received verbal statements from Fox News" that the debate would no longer be taking place.

Two Fox News sources familiar with the decision confirmed the debate had been canceled.

The cancellation comes after Trump said on Fox News a few hours earlier that he would not attend the debate, leading John Kasich to pull out as well. Ted Cruz said he was willing to debate either Trump or Kasich, or both.

"Obviously, there needs to be more than one participant," Michael Clemente, the Fox News executive overseeing the debate, said in a statement. "So the Salt Lake City debate is canceled."

I don't know perhaps Fox should let Ted Cruz have a debate with himself.

After all two hours of Ted Cruz talking about himself and  leaving a trail of slime wherever he steps on the debate stage might be enough to turn off every GOP voter in the country and effectively end his campaign in one night.

I think at this point it is pretty clear that the nomination is Donald Trump's.

After all if he he can refuse to attend a debate and get that debate cancelled I think that demonstrates his domination over this so-called opponents.

Does anybody really think they would have cancelled it if Kasich or Cruz had been the ones to skip it?

Besides that Trump is also threatening riots if he does not get the nomination:

Trump warned Wednesday morning that there would be widespread unrest if he does not "automatically" get the nomination as the candidate with the greatest number of delegates.

"I think you would have riots," Trump said during an interview with CNN, adding that he represents "many, many millions of people," including several first-time voters.

Angry conservative voters rioting in the streets. I give up, I am never going to be able to buy enough popcorn for this election cycle.

I think the GOP is resigned to a Trump candidacy, but are planning a "power behind the throne" end run. No one in this country believes George W. Bush was actually in charge.

Can the GOP control a little Donny Trump in the Oval office? No problem, drugs can do anything.

Michael Bloomberg practically left a breadcrumb for this theory in plain sight when he declared that he would not be running for President this cycle. While pundits focused on why the math wouldn't work out for Bloomberg against Trump or Hillary Clinton, the former mayor of New York City buried this interesting analysis in his op-ed this week.

In a three-way race, it's unlikely any candidate would win a majority of electoral votes, and then the power to choose the president would be taken out of the hands of the American people and thrown to Congress. The fact is, even if I were to receive the most popular votes and the most electoral votes, victory would be highly unlikely, because most members of Congress would vote for their party's nominee. Party loyalists in Congress -- not the American people or the Electoral College -- would determine the next president.

Enciting riots and dropping out of a debate, "because he can" means only one thing, with the others culled down, they need to start talking policy, what they stand for, and their plans for getting things to work. Trump is too afraid to look stupid, and knowing a woman, Megyn Kelly would publicly take him down, on Fox no less, would be too unbearable to his fragile little ego.
It's time to get to brass tacks, GOP, shit or get off the pot. Right now the world is laughing AT you and the Orville Redenbacher company can't keep up production. At least the Democrats speak in whole words, know how to debate the issues, and don't engage in sandbox antics.

Now he's got the KKK on his side and he's going to pay their legal fees as well? Jackass has no scruples nor courage, just tell folks what they want to hear and screw it all. Win at any cost.
