It's primary day kids! Yes again. Update!

For the Republicans there are primaries in Arizona and Utah.

According to Real Clear Politics Trump leads in Arizona by 13 points while Cruz leads in Utah by 20.

As for the Democrats there are three states. Arizona where Clinton leads Sanders by 26 points, Utah where Sanders is leading by a slim margin, and Idaho where Sanders leads by an even slimmer margin.

For the Republicans Arizona offers 58 delegates, for Democrats 75.

Utah has 40 up for grabs among the Republicans, and only 33 for the Dems.

And of course Idaho has 23 which will probably be split up almost evenly between Hillary and Bernie tonight.

As usual I will try to update the blog just as soon as the numbers start rolling in, but we may not get the final tally until fairly late since these are western states.

Update: Dirty tricks already reported in Arizona.

Update 2: Trump wins Arizona.

Update 3: Now Hillary is projected to win in Arizona as well.

Update 4: Sanders wins Utah. Apparently the turnout was massive.

Update 5: Sanders has also emerged victorious in Idaho.  Good night for Sanders.

The absentee ballot fiasco is on Rachel Maddow. There could be fifty thousand votes for Marco Rubio, who bowed out.

Urgent: If there is one person out there that actually cares about Todd Palin they must get to the facts about what is happening now. No time to waste.

There is plenty of dirty tricks that can be done to make sure Todd doesn't have a way to effectively communicate again.

It is imperative Todd's family of origin can speak about their visits and what they know.

You are correct, "Texas Light" as we like to refer to Arizona is curtailing voting opportunities for people. No big surprise in a state that keeps electing John McCain as Senator and Arpaio as Sheriff. Messed up state with a lot of messed up people living there, kind of explains why the Palins bought their little getaway in AZ, just a place full of Palins.

From @fivethirtyeight (Nate Silver): "There are 131 pledged delegates at stake tonight for Democrats. It’s going to be hard for Sanders to win a majority of those given that Arizona has most of the delegates and Clinton is winning big there, but it’s not impossible if he crushes it in Utah and Idaho. So let’s say he almost does it. Clinton gets 66 delegates on the night and Sanders gets 65.

That would get Sanders up to 920 pledged delegates, while Clinton would have 1,242, with 1,889 pledged delegates still outstanding. Skipping a little bit of math, but Sanders would need 59 percent of the remaining total to tie Clinton in pledged delegates. That’s really difficult to do; it would be equivalent to beating Clinton by 18 percentage points the rest of the way out. Merely breaking even in delegates isn’t nowhere near enough for Sanders at this point."

OT: the local CBS affiliate in Houston just reported on Sarah's new TV gig. Both reporters were laughing as they mentioned "she doesn't have a law degree, but details like that don't really matter"! It was great! Not all Texans are right wing freaks (looking at you Gryphen).

I wish I could caucus for Dems in Alaska but I'm registered "undeclared" and can't participate.

As "undeclared" I'm only able to caucus in the Republican Primary, but I did make my voice heard in that primary.

It's a shame that our Dem Caucus doesn't allow anyone but registered Dems..

That's kind of cute, people whining about the way they registered THEMSELVES.

    3. We came early and only waited 1 1/2 hours. When the "doors closed", volunteers placed themselves at the end of the line which, at one time was measured at one mile long. It took 2hr and 15min to process that line. The leaders were determined that everyone had a chance to participate. The Caucus filled two of the biggest venues in downtown Boise. It was amazing.

We’re still waiting on any official results from Idaho, but the Ada County Democratic Party is tweeting that Sanders is posting dominant results there, beating Clinton by roughly an 80-20 spread. Ada is by far the most populous county in Idaho, meaning that Sanders is in very strong shape statewide.

YEH! Bernie won the state that Sarah Palin was born in and gave her a degree in journalism even though she needs a ghost writer to decipher what she tries to say and takes Sarah's word salad and makes it presentable.

Yup I-Da-Ho is the state you want to win.
