Samantha Bee reminds us of the most important election of our lifetime and how most of us missed it.
She is absolutely right about this.
Keep this in mind when 2018 rolls around.
If Democrats keeps missing these midterm elections then we are NEVER going to get the government that we want, or the government that we deserve.

Amen to that, Nef, and, just like the upcoming general, if it weren't for the fact that it affects every last one of us and so very immature, I'd be singing the "told ya so, told ya so, told ya told ya told ya so" at 'em.
They came out for the presidential elections, but if we ALL don't show up for mid terms, it's like having a great quarterback and a lousy team, or vise versa. We can't move forward effectively and win issues consistantly without the whole team.
I agree, Pres Obama and VP Biden will be sorely missed!

Bristol Palin proudly posted a picture of her baby daughter on Instagram and told the world that lil' Sailor Grace "looks exactly like her daddy!" The only problem is that Bristol hasn't told anybody who exactly is the kid's father! The National ENQUIRER recently revealed how an embarrassed Bristol had to finally concede in court that the father is ex-fiancé Dakota Meyer — but she's yet to go public with the humiliating news!

I said that just yesterday on this blog. That the reason the Repubs control the Senate and House and the reason most of the governors are Republican is because Democrats sit-out midterm elections. I remember myself, as well as others, including President Obama begging the Democrats to cast their votes, in 2010 and 2014, but Democrats just don't listen. Yet they scream the loudest about how the Congress does not work with President Obama. BUT YOU NON-VOTER are the ones responsible for who is in the Congress, because you don't vote, but the Repubs do.
And Democratic Party loyalists are responsible for the Democratic Party that we have today. The Party needs to change and represent the interests of its voters, and not just the interests of the "Machine." This is 10 minutes of your time well spent:
The Gerald Ford White House significantly altered the final report of the supposedly independent 1975 Rockefeller Commission investigating CIA domestic activities, over the objections of senior Commission staff, according to internal White House and Commission documents posted today by the National Security Archive at The George Washington University (www.nsarchive.org).
