Sarah Palin's drive by Trump stumping in Florida impresses no one. Update: Todd Palin in serious snowmachine accident!

Courtesy of Palin's Facebook page.
Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

Palin, a surrogate for the Donald Trump campaign, crashed the Florida Strawberry Festival Sunday afternoon, an event that draws half a million people annually to central Florida.

Uninvited, unexpected, and to the consternation of the event’s organizers, Palin showed up in the self-proclaimed “winter strawberry capital of the world,” ostensibly to stump for Trump before Tuesday’s Florida primaries.

Palin’s appearance was intrusive, disruptive, and ultimately just about pointless. She spoke to no more than a couple dozen people as she posed for photos at a make-your-own-strawberry-shortcake stand, dragged a large entourage of police officers through a busy festival, and then left without giving any remarks to the crowd.

According to the Daily Beast Palin was "mobbed" by "dozens" of fans, and then said this about the violence at the Trump rallies:

“The thugs who are disrupting his rallies are doing nothing but harm to anyone’s right to assemble peacefully, and right to speak. [The people] who are disrupting… they’re not protesters, they’re much more violent than that,” Palin told The Daily Beast.

(It should be noted that all of the violence so far captured on camera has come from Trump supporters, with a few of the protesters fighting back once pushed to struck.)

Here is how the Daily Beast summed up Palin's visit:

But although she was there ostensibly to support Trump’s campaign to win the Florida primary, she didn’t speak to more than a couple dozen people before leaving. With nothing organized, she gave no speech to stir the crowds—it was all spectacle, no utility.

Well actually the utility served is that it keeps Palin out of Alaska while her son phones in his appearance at his pretrial conference for punching his girlfriend in the face.

But other than that they are right.

Palin was supposed to show up for an appearance at The Village, a retirement community in Florida, but it was suddenly cancelled.
Gee, I wonder why?

Update: Okay now we know why.

Apparently Todd Palin is hospitalized after a serious snowmachine accident.

Update 2: According to Bristol's Instagram she was at the family cabin with Todd and Trig, Tripp, and Sailor.  If there were an accident it must have happened there.

Update 3: According to Court View Track's pretrial conference has been continued.

Well isn't THAT convenient?

Update 4: Well looky here, Palin DID show up to Trump rally.

I guess having a husband in intensive care, takes a back seat to getting some attention from the national media.

None of the family is going to bother with Track and his big day. You know Willow and Rickie Bobby are with Todd. Piper is there. Bristol has all the help in the world with her family.

Bristol has taken a million pictures by now and she can get one out to the media. That is her job.

Why were there so many LEOs there? She didn't apparently have them at the rodeo--why at the Strawberry Festival?

Man, that is sad, sad, sad, that you horn in on someone's strawberry festival without even telling the organizers that you are going to be there.

Last night Bristol posted a pic of Tripp in gear as if he was a racer. She called him her future Iron Dog boy. Todd wasn't in a race when he crashed, but you have to wonder what little Tripp is feeling after he surely heard all sorts of comments about his own future with snow machines.

Bristol has always pushed Tripp to ride machines and be a dog boy. Tripp is a kid, he won't think anything can happen to him. Todd is pretty old now, kids can see an old guy is different and could get messed up. Bristol makes Tripp invincible.

Todd must have been in the accident after 8 PM when Bristol posted. What time did he get to the hospital?

If they cover up the basic info that will make things suspicious. He could have been having his beers by the time of his accident.

I would be concerned about Tripp knowing his leader and example's habits with beer and snowmachines. Also the examples of all the lies in the family of his role models.

      Track and now Todd.

Too bad the parents had to hide from Track's situation and didn't get that taken care of before they went off to play their games.

I bet both Track and Todd incidents have to do with substance abuse.

Probably seeing if Trump was still going to pay her.
BTW I can't believe Sarah Palin couldn't get on an immediate flight either last night or very, very early in the morning. I have called airlines/ or showed up at the airport looking for emergency flights 3 times. Each time I never had to leave that counter, even have had counter agents call other airlines to get me a flight.
If she stopped off with Trump's campaign people it was because she wanted to, not because she couldn't get a flight.

      Delete
    7. Since apparently Trump didn't allow her to use his 757 jet, she probably booked with Alaska Airlines.

If you've ever used Alaska Airlines, you know the flights from Florida airports to Seattle then to Anchorage are few and far between. That's because each flight just turns around and does the flight in reverse. They don't dedicate many planes to that route. So it's not surprising there was a delay in Sarah Palin's leaving Florida.

Bristol RARELY posts pictures of Todd (usually just his birthday or Iron Dog) and c4p tends to use pictures related to Sara's events-like typically today they would use a photo from yesterday's "big" events.

Ironic timing is the news of this event just coming out now. I just read a new "story" in this morning's DailyMail about how Bristol and her kids spent the weekend "for the first time" at Todd's cabin. Cabin? His new home or a 2nd home?

Sarah Palin was in Houston, supposed to be 8 months pregnant with a special needs child. She started leaking amniotic fluid and had labor pains. Instead of going to the nearest hospital, she gave a speech the next morning and then flew back to Alaska, traveling for 12 hours. Unbelievable!

Last night, Todd was in a snow mobile accident. It was so bad that reports said that Todd was in intensive care. Last night in Alaska would be early morning in Florida. Instead of getting on the first plane out of Florida-- or having the rich Donald Trump send a plane for Sarah, she stayed around in Florida, cancelling her appearance 7 minutes before she was supposed to campaign for Trump. Never mind that her other appearances were disasters, she looks forward to campaigning again for Trump as soon as possible. What's wrong with this picture?

What a coincidence! Bristol is facing custody problems with Dakota Meyer, who she claims is the father of Sailor. Then Track was supposed to appear in court for beating up Jordan Loewe, waving around a gun, threatening suicide while drunk. The court hearing was postponed until April. What amazing timing. I wonder if Dakota is already on his way to Alaska.

The Palins, who eagerly post every detail of their life on social media don't seem to have posted any updates about Todd, seeing as their many friends and family might want to hear something.
