Senator Al Franken reads his mean tweets after making public his support of Hillary Clinton.

I am going to go out on a limb and suggest that those are the only ones that Franken can read on the air.

If the responses he receives are anything like the ones we receive here, I bet there are hundreds that are too disgusting and misogynist to ever see the light of day.

Personally I have a lot of faith in Senator Franken, his support of Hillary is just one more reason to believe that I am on the right side in this debate.

Well, yes, the Bernie Bros would certainly expect Al Franken of all people to join them in Hating on Hillary.

Al Franken is a hero to me. In 1964 he briefly had a television show which I saw on the Sundance Channel. He discussed politics, the election campaign and lots of other things as well. Extremely intelligent with a healthy view of the political world, one that I trusted. On election night as things looked worse and worse for John Kerry, Al Franken's demeanor mirrored my own. By the time it was sure that we would have four more years of GWB and his fellow criminals, we were both in tears. I think Al Franken has been a superb senator and I would support him as a presidential candidate too.

Oh, my God, I meant 2004. My husband graduated from college in 1964. Early in the morning I really have vision issues.

I distinctly recall crying the day after the 2004 election.

After a few weeks I realized the country was so screwed up, John Kerry would have been blamed by republicans if he had won. Americans still blame Bush, and rightly so.

Yes, I respect him a lot. He gave up a good career to serve the people, and that is what he has done, unlike the career sloughs like Boehner, Ryan and McConnell, whose only goal is to get on the TV and do as little as possible for their tax payer funded salaries.

I feel so fortunate to be from Minnesota and for being represented by both Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar in the Senate.

You are SO lucky. I am in Texas and I always say I have no representation in Congress. We get Lamar Smith, science denier who is the chair of the Science Space and Technology committee (yeah) and of course John Cornyn and the excrebable Ted Cruz. I vote against them as much as I can, but often there is no competition. Lamar finally has a Dem opponent this year. YaY!

As a former Minnesotan ( I'm from Da Range), I do not think the people from Minnesota know just how lucky they are. They have two very strong US Senators, an ex US Senator that is now Governor, Mark Dayton, that has led them out of the fiscal crisis that Pawlenty left them with.
NOw I am living in Texas...yes Texas, and I agree with Virginia @ 6:42am
But this Minnesota progressive Democrat is going her darned best to turn Texas BLUE.
It's a long, tough battle to do so. And I have to admit, I took it for granted how easy it was when I lived on Da Range( which has intelligent voters and one of the highest voting percentages in the country.

Anyone see Sherrod Brown's Facebook page after he endorsed? Or John Lewis? Did you see PP after they endorsed?

Bernie fans take their marching orders from the angry dude that is always smearing HRC as corrupt -- as he wags his finger in her face.

Can't wait to see HRC lock this thing up.

OMG Keep drinking whatever your drinking, your going to need it. What I see on my page is people of all ages with happy smiles voting for Bernie. Trying, to undo all this corruption. Bernie hasn't bad mouth Hillary, all though no one can say that about her. HILLARY did the same thing to Obama. Telling out right lies. Happy voting to all.

If love Al Franken. I remember when he ran, didn't know if he was joking or not at first, but then I heard him speak and I knew he was serious. Thanks for sharing this clip. I have my "Hillary" signs out and sticker on my back window (new car and don't put them on the bumper unless the cars over four years)
