Yes, I agree. This election will be a turning point. All the possibilities of the 2008 election will be done and over with. She wasn't VP to McCain's president in 2008. Nor was she in 2012. She was not a candidate or nominee in 2012. Nor is she in 2016.
The 2008 election and its participants will be officially done and gone with this election. McCain was in the Senate for years before 2008 and is still there now.
She will of course jump around, squawk like a chicken, bray like a jackass, and otherwise try to keep her aging barfly face and screeching yap in front of every microphone and camera that she can. But I really do think this election will close a door or two as far as any fading relevancy she will be considered to have.
