Well it looks as if Sarah Palin will have a busy April. You know, for her.

Courtesy of the Republican Party of Milwaukee County:

Gov. Sarah Palin is confirmed to speak.

Sen. Ted Cruz is confirmed to speak.

Gov. John Kasich is confirmed to speak.

All campaigns have been notified of this event.

SOLD OUT!!

Gov. Scott Walker is confirmed to speak.

Event is from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM Doors will open at 5 pm. Dinner at 6:30 to accommodate speakers.

Of course my first thought was that surely this must be an April Fool's prank, but nope it seems to be legit.

Which means that, despite her terrible performances in the past, Palin is acting as Trump's surrogate for this event as he is not scheduled to appear.

Wow, who would not want to be a fly on the wall when Palin runs into Ted Cruz backstage after all of the crap she has been spewing about him on Facebook?

And isn't it nice that her husband all of the sudden recovered to the point that his wife can leave him without people saying she is a terrible person?

Such a team player that Todd.

As it turns out this is not Palin's only gig in April, she also has to show up in Washington on the 14th to help deny man made climate change.

Courtesy of Climate Depot:

The U.S. premiere of CFACT’s groundbreaking new documentary, Climate Hustle will take place at a Capitol Hill briefing in the historic Rayburn Office Building, including a riveting panel discussion on climate change featuring Gov. Sarah Palin and other notable guests. The invitation-only briefing and panel discussion will be held on April 14, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. The event comes just a week prior to the opening for signature of the U.N. Paris Agreement on climate change on Earth Day (April 22), and just a short time before Climate Hustle is seen in select U.S. cinemas for a one-night presentation by Fathom Events and SpectiCast on May 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. local time.

With welcoming remarks by Congressman Lamar Smith (R-TX), Chairman of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee and headlined by Gov. Sarah Palin (2008 Republican Vice Presidential Candidate; 9th Governor of Alaska), the panel will be taped and shown during the national theater event. The discussion will be moderated by Brent Bozell, Founder and President of the Media Research Center, and will also include other notable experts including respected climatologist Dr. David Legates and a special video appearance by Emmy Award-winning educator Bill Nye the Science Guy. The panel will further examine some of the science, politics, and media coverage of the climate issue, and go far toward helping debunk much of the alarmism and hype exposed in the Climate Hustle film.

Well isn't THAT special?

By the way up here in Alaska our temperatures just hit the 70 degree mark for the first time in history.

Alaskans don't have the luxury of denying climate change, we live with it every day.

In fact that might even have had something to do with a recent snowmachine mishap.

You know, assuming that is indeed what happened.

    WHAT THE FU_K?

Todd was admitted to the hospital, had surgery, put into Intensive Care with broken ribs, collapsed lungs and was just allowed to go home.

As soon as Todd gets home guess what Sarah Palin did?

When I was seriously injured and went home, my wife took care of me.

    WTF DID TODD'S WIFE DID?

Todd looked quite capable of taking care of himself in that photo with Trig, even though he obviously has a leg brace it looks like he's ambulatory. I'm sure she has nursing care checking on him or someone is driving him to doctor's appts while she is gone.

At this point in their lives unless she stays "out there" and in the public eye all future income-generating opportunities may dry up, so off to work she goes. I'm sure Todd would rather know that they have future income, than have her hanging around the house bitching that she has to take care of him.

When the Great Vice Presidential Campaign of 2008 rolled into the fall months, I asked on another message board, "Shouldn't those kids be in school?" I quickly got a reply from someone who was sure that Todd and Sarah had made arrangements for the kids to keep up with their school work while they were on the road, maybe even private tutoring. Well, we found out later that that never happened. I suspect the odds of Todd having private nursing care right now are about the same.

You need to manipulate the pic and outline what you are talking about. I don't see any of what you are saying. Please clarify your assumptions. Not everyone has good eyesight.

Even with braces there is no proof of when the pic was taken. Todd is lucky if he did not break any feet or hand bones, or anything connected.

We need to learn from history. In this case the history of Sarah Palin. Her past actions are necessary to include because she is a person that stays with certain patterns. You learn a lot about her character, who she is and what she does by observing the things she did over the past years.

10:29 I don't see a leg brace either and I zoomed in on it. This is how rumors and conspiracy theories start. Some people just see what they want to see and jump to conclusions. Stupid people.

    15. Anonymous2:29 PM

2:03, by the same token, asserting that it is an old photo without proof is also how rumors and conspiracies start. I also see what looks like a leg brace, but who can say? I will say Todd looks gaunt, like he has lost weight, though.

Not necessarily. Trump may not have a clue as to what events Wisconsonites consider important. He also does not like being just one of several equal invitees.

Palin may simply be tracking all republican campaign events like a hawk and inserting herself into any of them that she can.

She could have wangled an invitation from the event and contacted Trump's campaign and wangled their blessing to reprise her cockamamie disco ball sweater performance art, saving Trump the trouble of appearing.

  13. Even if he has been discharged from the hospital, she's still a terrible person. Waiting until he's discharged doesn't change her basic nature. What it says is that she's trying to be calculating and figures once he's home, it's okay to ignore him.

One might also speculate that he's sick of her and insisted she leave... or that he's also worried about their financial status and wants her stumping for money, trying desperately to regain her relevancy.

Trump has been so embarrassed this week--so much has happened to wake people up to what an idiot he is--and he keeps falling in the Wisconsin polls, and many are saying that this really is a big shift in momentum for him and it will carry to other states. The Wisconsin media are having a very successful "Never Trump" campaign. He's only bringing Sarah in as a way to have to avoid doing his own useless stumping and looking like a fool--when he falls behind he leaves. His use of Sarah anywhere now is all about his realization that he is not the god he had fooled people into thinking he was.

Really Gryph, you are going to feed your loony bin with yet another conspiracy tale, one that apparently you don't even know what the conspiracy is yet, that you will once again never be able to prove or provide evidence of?

Personally I'd rather be known for being straight up and factual, instead of leading people around with gossip and repeated made up tales and innuendo. It earns you more respect as a man, but to each their own eh?

I agree, this conspiracy surrounding the accident does not need to be propagated further. I understand, given the Palin propensity for stretching the truth, why people assume that the Palins are lying, however, there are times when events in their lives are as they appear and I firmly believe this is one of those times.

If gossip and innuendo is so desirable then I'm a bit unsure as to why Gryphen no longer allows the "cousin" to post here; what he or she had to say is just as valid as all this speculation regarding Todd's accident.

It is not a conspiracy. It is fact there was no accident report, the media did next to nothing, there are no March 13-14 pictures of a crashed machine. Not one witness can talk. About all that happened is Sarah went into control mode and became the only one who can say what happened. Everyone else went black. Jim Palin, Todd's dad did say something about Todd learning a lesson, that was it and he went black. Bristol was part of the Iron Dog crowd and she cannot say anything of her experience that night. No sight of her visiting Todd.

All we know is that Tripp was dressed to go out on his snowmachine.

People has written that there was no need for an accident report because Todd was taken away so quickly to the hospital. No! When there is an accident, especially one that caused such extensive damage for Todd to end up in the ICU, there always is an accident report. The people who were supposed to have found Todd must be the ones who called 911. There is a record of their call. That is public information. The police or state police would know how to find them. One has to file an accident report in order to begin the process of collecting insurance for the damages and expenses. I don't know how Todd's native insurance works, but even with our extensive medical insurance, the cost of the ambulance is only partially covered. There is a record of that. When I have visited my husband in the ICU, I was allowed in there for 15 to 20n minutes. I did not get to sleep in there over night. I guess Sarah's friends at MatSu run a different kind of place.

Sarah may be running around the country, but Todd does need someone to look after him for the next couple of months. I know that Sarah doesn't do that kind of work. I doubt that Trig can make dinners, bring a tray of treats, help Todd change clothes. For that matter, why did he wear such a tight pair of pans over that cast or brace. Loose fitting sweats would have been the choice. Broken clavicle, ribs and more? Are you kidding?

People have written that there was no need for an accident report

You can file an accident report at a later date. Even now is not too late, or file a a report about a man found with injuries. I think it was said he was dropped off at the large super market.

If you suspect something fishy, that can be investigated.

Does anyone know where the the incident happened (before Todd was taken to the super market).

Many times if you find someone who just crashed it is best not to move them yourself. It would be good to know how all that went down. Here is a man in bad shape and they move him and do not take him inside, they leave him outside.

I am not sure about the weather and conditions that night. Was it a good idea to leave the injured outside? What kind of help did Todd receive from from who all was there and helping him.

That is why this is all so strange and questionable. When people are found in snow or freezing conditions there is usually a lot of talking about the circumstances and the rescue. The media covers those things quiet well. Even after the fact an interesting rescue story will be retraced and discussed.

There are lessons to learn for a circumstance like this.

So even if they tell the truth, no one believes them.

Personally I don't care if there is an accident report or not. I don't care if Todd crashed his snow mobile or got beaten up.

The result is the same serious damage to his body. He deserves more as payback from all the people he has harassed, bullied and harmed in the past.

I call bullshit on the Trig pic. Broken clavicle plus a broken shoulder blade requiring surgery and no sling to stabilize healing bones? With Trig leaning on one arm and the other one holding the remote? There's no way. According to Willow he only had surgery two weeks ago- he'd still be wearing that sling all the time except for physical therapy.

Post-surgery patients never deviate from their doctor's instructions. Assuming Todd's doc ordered a sling, we can be certain the doc insisted her wear his sling even while in bed or lounging in chair or on sofa. We can be certain that Todd would never take off his sling. ;-p

If they are faking with an old picture about Todd being home.... WHY?

If he is home they can take a current picture.

I don't believe he is home.

A good wife that had to work would leave her husband where he would have the best care.

She seems diabolical to leave him at home. Did Sarah mention who is caring for him or how and where he is getting therapy.

Everything she is doing is so questionable. She really makes everyone wonder what is happening with all of this. The robots just repeat what they have to say, so I don't include them as part of humanity.

      Delete
    4. Anonymous1:05 PM

Exactly! For a (supposedly) broken clavicle and broken ribs and broken shoulder blade, it is imperative that you wear a brace at all times - including in bed - because those bones have to heal by themselves, and if you don't wear that brace, the bones can fuse together in the wrong way, which can become a debilitating pain later on.

      Delete
    5. Anonymous1:15 PM

Often patients wear a padded figure-8 brace now. It does look as if Todd's shoulder area is bulky under his jacket so I think he's probably in the brace under his coat.

And we know that they need a lot of money to keep Bristol in her fancy designer torn jeans, Piper's hair in every color of the rainbow and then there are all of those costly court trials coming up. I forgot, Todd might need some nursing, too.

Sarah has to stay in the public eye saying something political in that tornado of words that are more of a whirlwind than a thoughtful speech. But, that's her style, and the people who are stupid enough to like her don't feel quick as stupid after Sarah is done talking.

Does she do anything for the event? After 7 years in the white hot spotlight, her looks are starting to fade (and I don't mean her spray tan). Her speech has gotten much more garbled. But people do enjoy watching a train wreck. Eventually, she will be as inspirational a speaker as Tammy Faye Baker selling religion or Suzanne Somers selling health products. Those bills aren't going to pay themselves, and her PAC donations are down down down. I hope that people enclosed cash when they sent Todd those get well cards. With checks, she might have to report them.

Not a Prank: See the Pics Sarah Palin Posted to Celebrate Husband Todd Finally Leaving the Hospital

A few weeks ago, Sarah Palin was rumored not to be showing up to one of her scheduled Donald Trump support events. People made jokes but were quickly quieted — for the most part — when it was reported that her husband Todd Palin had been in a snowmobile accident. She ended up doing the event anyway.

All of that happened on March 14 and now, Todd is finally home. Sarah posted a Facebook update, as she so often does. This time, though, she wasn’t coming for the establishment or Fox News. She was just celebrating the happy occasion of having her husband home.

    Sarah Palin
    on Thursday

So grateful for your prayers and support during Todd's recovery! He's in a good place - on the couch - insisting if there's any good season for injury, it's now.

"March Madness is a great distraction," Todd reports. "And catching up on 'Deadliest Catch' and 'Bering Sea Gold' episodes is some awesome motivational therapy. I can't wait to get on Bristol Bay waters and pick fish with the family!"

In our 35 years, I've never seen the guy have to literally hold still, sit down, and take a (winced) breath. And I've never seen Todd so touched by the kindness shown during difficult days.

"It's overwhelming and I'm not worthy of these well-wishes," he said. "I wish I could repay people for caring. Makes me want to do more for others, especially when they're down and out. Maybe that's part of the purpose in all this."

It IS overwhelming, friends' goodness permeating the situation. Todd is always, always doing what he can for others, and rooting for anyone going through life's trials. It's amazing to realize his character is recognized outside of our four walls. He's got a great heart... to go along with two inflated lungs now, metal holding bones together, and stitched up epidermis that makes him appreciate good health more than ever.

"I can't thank you guys enough," Todd said. "The past few weeks showed us it's not just family circling the wagons; I don't think we'd ever realized that before. People out there who are hurting a hundred times worse than I was can use our prayers and any kind gesture. Maybe I can only repay by offering the same to you."

Trump said, “You really ought to hear the whole thing. I mean, this is a long convoluted question. This was a long discussion, and they just cut it out. And, frankly, it was extremely — it was really convoluted.”

MSNBC fired back with a statement to TVNewser, “The town hall interview with Donald Trump was taped in advance and then aired in its entirety. Absolutely no part of the exchange between Trump and Chris Matthews was edited out.”

An examination of the transcript reveals that Trump was lying.

Democrats Could Win Back The House Thanks to Trump Being as “Popular as Head Lice”

Conventional wisdom and math have long created the narrative that it would take Democrats many election cycles too overcome the Republican 30 seat majority in the House. And then along came Donald Trump. The House is actually in play, thanks to Donald Trump, who in suburban districts is “about as popular as head lice.”

Donald Trump has collapsed in general election polls

...Trump now trails Clinton by 9 points in the HuffPost Pollster polling average and by 11.2 points in RealClearPolitics' average — and he's behind Bernie Sanders by even more in both. Any of these showings from Trump would be the weakest performance from a major party nominee in the past 20 years.

The trendlines for the billionaire are terrible too. Back during the waning months of 2015, he regularly came within a few points of both Clinton and Sanders. But historically, polls conducted so far in advance have been essentially meaningless.

Crucially, Trump's decline has happened just when these polls actually start to mean something. In newer polls, Trump almost never comes close to either Clinton or Sanders anymore. And in past races, changes in general election polling that have occurred during this period of the campaign have often ended up sticking.

"Were this a few months ago, I'd say, 'What's the big deal?'" says Christopher Wlezien, a political science professor at the University of Texas. "But polls today are much more meaningful than they were 90 days ago. And the polls today are much less favorable for Trump."

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Thursday doubled down on his promise to not rule out using nuclear weapons in Europe.

"I don't want to take cards off the table; I'd never do that," Trump said during a phone interview on "The O'Reilly Factor," adding, "the last person to press that button would be me."

Guest host Eric Bolling acknowledged not ruling out using nuclear weapons against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), but he pressed Trump about the possibility of using them in Europe.

"Europe is a big place. I'm not going to take cards off the table," Trump said.

Donald Trump Acknowledges His Campaign Team Kind of Sucks

Remember when Donald Trump declared, ad naseum, that he’d hire only the “greatest minds” as president? Well that’s not going so well. The New York Times reports Trump had a closed-door meeting this week with Reince Priebus and several other top Republican National Committee members, during which he apparently acknowledged he had not exactly hired the best and brightest to work on his campaign.

According to the Times, the conversation centered mainly around two things: His disrespect for the Republican party and his ignorance of how delegates work, the latter of which apparently led him to criticize his own team in front of everyone.

Call it what you want but "we" humans have created a floating island of garbage. Have dumped every biohazard on this planet in our waterways. Have fed plastic to our mammals and wildlife. Have nucleated our air water soil and food. We ignorantly debate what is in front of us. Man made toxic waste polluted our planet. And mother nature patiently waits for us to change before it is to late.

She is not qualified to speak about anything to do with climate science. She is a shill for the coal industry. Remember her op-ed in the NY Times in 2009? She was still governor and she went off topic on to coal when the state was attempting to get gas on the table. It was a clear sign then she was selling herself even before she left the governor’s office. It was a travesty and the idiots who were promoting her then haven’t learned a thing since.

I've always suspected that Trump really doesn't want to quit his day job and be president. Running for him is the same as winning another reality tv show or a popularity contest. He loves the contest itself and it feeds his ego that he has become the GOP ringmaster of the circus.

Having Palin, who is a failed candidate, as his surrogate? It's laughable. Now I'm absolutely CERTAIN that Trump doesn't really want the job of being president. The more he allows Palin to represent him the more it means he isn't serious. It's all a big show folks and Palin is being punked. Of course she will hitch her star to any wagon to get face time and have those crowds yelling, "Sarahhhh, Sarahhh, Sarahhh!!" Ain't gonna happen again but she'll take any scrap thrown her way whether it's another failed reality tv show or whatever she is dreaming of doing in government. Ain't gonna happen. Her day is over and she's spoiled milk. Thank you Bristol and Track for helping to bring your mommy down.

‘Earthquake Election’ Destroying GOP Predicted After THESE Poll Numbers Were Released

For months concerns have been expressed about the ability of the Democratic Party to duplicate the voter enthusiasm expressed for President Obama in his successful 2008 and 2012 campaigns. Getting historic turnout among young and black voters was seen as the most difficult task facing whoever becomes the Democratic nominee, whether it is Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton.

But now a new poll from Democracy Corps shows that the Democratic secret turnout weapon may be embedded in the Republican Party: Donald Trump.

Per gawker, Pierson, trumps spokeswoman is also on a reality show. So, this may be how trump compensates Pierson and Palin and who knows for their work because he is hooked up with the same guy. And, he probably implies work for all if elected, like with Carson. Greed.
