Donald trump supporters are nuts.

Courtesy of PPP:

There's been a lot of recent coverage of Donald Trump's embrace of various conspiracy theories, so we asked about a bunch of them on this poll to see which ones his supporters believe and which ones even they say are a bridge too far. Among voters with a favorable opinion of Trump:

-65% think President Obama is a Muslim, only 13% think he's a Christian.

-59% think President Obama was not born in the United States, only 23% think that he was.

-27% think vaccines cause autism, 45% don't think they do, another 29% are not sure.

-24% think Antonin Scalia was murdered, just 42% think he died naturally, another 34% are unsure.

Apparently they did not jump on every conspiracy theory however.

-7% think Ted Cruz's father was involved in the assassination of JFK, 55% think he was not involved, another 38% are unsure.

Really? Only 55% think Ted Cruz's dad was not involved in the murder of JFK?

Yeah, good luck reasoning with these people.

This my friends is the America brought to us by reality television.

So who better to lead them than a man made famous by reality television?

To be clear, did Trump say Ted Cruz's father was involved in the assassination of JFK? I thought he said Ted Cruz's father was photographed with Lee Harvey Oswald shortly before Oswald was shot. There is a difference, and I believe Ted Cruz's father WAS photographed with Lee Harvey Oswald shortly before he was shot.

The ignorance is astounding. It's so sad to see this on view to the whole world. To learn that so many Americans are willing to swallow the ravings of a carnival barker is disheartening to say the least. We can only hope that come voting day the number of informed voters will outnumber the Trump supporters.

Brought to you by hate radio and the dumbing down of American education since the 1960s. A good liberal arts education that stresses critical thinking skills has been eliminated through budget cuts.

      Ahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

You want thinking skills, get a real education in math and sciences.

Liberal arts education graduates are nothing but morons that cause stupid roadblocks for the people that actually make this world work.

Unless they're attending trade school, engineer, math, and science majors still take liberal arts courses as part of their degree program. Learning about history, the arts, and social science makes for well-rounded people, no matter what their ultimate career will be.

Hey 1:23 I'm an engineer and taught engineers and found them jobs- and many of the companies I worked with insisted on well-rounded employees (read: take some liberal arts) and some preferred liberal arts grads for the non technical positions because of their out-of-the-box thinking skills. I saw that as a wake up call to find a different way to teach engineers.

Elizabeth Warren Is Creating A Brilliant Road Map To Beating Trump For All Dems To See

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) took to Twitter to stand up to Donald Trump today, but there is more to Warren's tweets than challenging Trump. Sources suggest that Warren's true motive is to lay out a road map for every Democrat showing the party how to beat Trump in November.

Welcome To The Surreal Dreamscape Of Trump’s Policy Positions

Trump’s nonsensical position-switching is going to be media catnip.

Believe it or not, the period in which presumptive GOP presidential nominee and doll-handed luftballon Donald Trump merely made fun of women for their menstrual cycles or retweeted “white genocide” memes to win the affection of his fanbase was the sensible part of his campaign.

The good news about this period is that you knew he meant what he was saying. Or was that the bad news? Either way, we’ve now given way to the part of this campaign where Trump “clarifies” his policy preferences. It’s already a phantasmagorical universe.

    How Trump Made Bigotry Fashionable

...What Trump has done is to bring prejudice into the mainstream and concoct conspiracy theories to justify it. Whereas there is enough bigotry in America anyway, his statements have made it legitimate to voice racism publicly.

Notorious Hatemonger’s Embrace of Trump Presents Stark Choice Going Forward

...Those who have enthusiastically support Trumps candidacy reads like a who’s who of the extremist hate world:

Former Klansman and neo-Nazi David Duke; the Daily Stormer’s Nazi Andrew Anglin; anti-Semite and Johnson associate Kevin MacDonald; Loyal White Knights Grand Dragon William Quigg (who later “switched” to Hillary Clinton); Stormfront website founder and former Klansman Don Black; the American Renaissance’s Jared Taylor and the racist leader of Traditionalist Youth Network Matt Heimbach. Heimbach achieved notoriety for his role in manhandling an African-American female protestor at a Trump rally in Louisville, Kentucky earlier this year.

The Republican Trump Meltdown and the Fight Over the Democratic Party’s Future

...Trump’s nomination does fly in the face of conservative dogma on some issues. But Trump also reflects the triumph of the curdled rage of the modern Republican Party. All of the constituencies of the old Republican Party that may have stopped Trump in the primaries — racial minorities, socially moderate women, college-educated whites — have been driven out by a party that has lurched right. Tax cuts for the rich, deregulating Wall Street, and cuts to retirement programs have no natural constituency, so Republicans have been left with the only voters who would be willing to support them: culturally conservative whites. Republicans aghast at Trump’s wild abuse of the truth had no authority to which they could turn, having long ago instructed their supporters to ignore the mainstream media.

Trump’s victory was an object lesson in the stifling failure of intra-Republican discourse.

I'm astounded by how guillable and ignorant people are. I take that back. They aren't ignorant, they are stupid. Even when presented with proof they will not believe it, because it does not fit their narrative.

Donald Trump is everything they hate; not conservative, either socially or fiscally, a liar, elitist, womanizer whose wife is into porn. I don't get it, he's from New York City ff's sake!!

At times, Clinton has referred to the inquiry as a "security review," recently telling NBC's Today show that such inquiries are common across the government.

"We're conducting an investigation," Comey said. "I'm not familiar with the term security review."

Well, that first ladies husband was impeached for lying to federal investigators while president. But in your little brained world, somehow being a former first lady of an impeached president somehow provides immunity? Lol.

      Nope.

"Old scandals never die, they just fade away. That is until you run for the highest political office in the land and there are still questions without answers. During the investigation into the Clinton’s real estate dealings, Hillary Clinton said “I don’t recall” around 50 times according to Hickman Ewing, the deputy to Ken Starr. Oh, that was also in a single deposition. She is either the most clueless person ever or hiding the truth. You decide."

I like all other Jon Stewart fans miss him. He had a way about him to see through the facade and call it. Saw him on youtube yesterday. He was being interviewed by David Axelrod. Jon was funny as all hell.
Called Donald Trump baby man. Or man baby. Jon pointed out that Donald and friends are playing on the Republican's long standing brainwashing of all these conspiracy theories. Anyway, I think I am botching up what Jon actually said. Can't quote him verbatim. But if you get a chance check it out. The loudest voice will infiltrate the crazies. That's who they listen to. The voice of reason has left the building a long time ago. Donald is just the ringleader they were awaiting.
