Some old lady wants everybody to unite behind Donald Trump now that he has won the nomination. Wait, is that Sarah Palin?

My favorite part of this is her invitation that "smart Democrats" join in supporting Trump.

As if anybody who considered themselves smart would do anything like that.

I imagine that now her Facebook page will be filled with even more pro-Trump propaganda as she positions herself to receive reflected glory from his campaign. (He actually did mention her during his victory speech yesterday.)

She posted this yesterday as well.

Oh yeah this is going to be a long seven months.

Even worse than Trump winning would be nominating Palin ambassador to Norway or something. Then the media would have to perpetuate the fiction that she's an important diplomat when we are all fully aware that position is given to lackeys.

You've gotta admire the Guy's patience, he's lead her to the brink of success and then yanked it out from under her feet at the last second HOW many times now? Some people just can't grasp "humble" no matter how many cow pies you smush in their face.

Yes, a short and stubby Caitlin. She once looked like she was female, but now, no matter what she does with her styling, she looks like she was born male. Her hair is looking mighty thin too, and that outfit is so cheap looking and the sleeves--yuck! Crazy, how one sleeve goes all the way down to cover part of her hand (it would go down more if she weren't holding her arm up) and the other is open to reveal her cheap wrist jewelry. No ring still, I see.

Democratic presidential candidate, Sen. Bernie Sanders is using his victory in Indiana to argue that the Democratic primary is not over.

In a statement, Sen. Sanders said:

I want to thank the people of Indiana for the great upset victory that they gave us tonight. This is the 18th state that we have won, and we expect more victories in the weeks to come.

The Clinton campaign thinks this campaign is over. They’re wrong. Maybe it’s over for the insiders and the party establishment, but the voters in Indiana had a different idea. The campaign wasn’t over for them. It isn’t over for the voters in West Virginia. It isn’t over for Democrats in Oregon, New Jersey and Kentucky. It isn’t over for voters in California and all the other states with contests still to come.

We understand that we have an uphill climb to victory but we have been fighting uphill from the first day of this campaign. We are in this campaign to win and we’re going to fight until the last vote is cast. There is nothing I would like more than to take on and defeat Donald Trump, someone who must never become president of this country.

The voters in the remaining contests deserve a chance to compare my record and Hillary Clinton’s record on creating jobs, raising the minimum wage, war and peace, the need for health care for all, breaking up big banks, combating climate change and other critical issues. To help voters make the best-informed choice possible, I hope that Secretary Clinton will agree to a date and place for a debate in California.

In a way, Sen. Sanders is correct. There are still Democrats who have not voted, so the primary is not technically over. However, the odds of victory for Sen. Sanders continue to decrease with each passing contest. The problem for Sanders remains that he has not been able to win in the delegate-rich states, or win by a large enough margin to cut into former Sec. of State Clinton’s delegate lead.

  31. It may be unlikely that Trump would win, except for two possibilities:

    1) Voter suppression will be through the roof. We will have to work to achieve large margins of victory to overcome republican voter fraud, tampered with voting machines, long lines, closed polling places, voter purges and all the other dirty tricks the republicans will play.

    2) Complacency; "I don't need to vote because the Democrats have it in the bag."

Don't take this lightly election lightly. It is not reality television, it is real life.

On the bright side, I doubt very much that Trump will seem more likable, reasonable, or fit for office as the general heats up and he finds out that there are more than republicans in the country, and that while the republicans may have chosen him, millions of Americans can not stand him at all and will voice their opinions. 5 Things We’ve Learned About Hillary Clinton Since She Won the New York Primary

A chilling read. Here are the 5 things.

      1. Clinton is now statistically tied with Donald Trump in national polling, while Sanders beats Trump by 10 points.

In contemporary politics, non-incumbent Democrats win only in “movement” elections: 1992 (Bill Clinton) and 2008 (Barack Obama) being the two recent examples. I said that Republicans win when the Democrats nominate a somewhat stiff policy wonk who Democrats feel no great personal warmth for — Al Gore (2000) and John Kerry (2004) being our two recent exemplars.

So which type of candidate is Hillary Clinton?

Echoing the same reasoning I used a couple weeks ago, Vanity Fair now says Hillary Clinton is Al Gore.

      2. Charles Koch has revealed that Clinton is conservative enough that he might vote for her over any of the remaining Republicans.

With Clinton, America gets the moderate Republican candidate it’s been looking for. So says Charles Koch, who, last anyone checked, was the number-one enemy of progressivism in America.

      4. Clinton has been paying millions of dollars to spread campaign propaganda illicitly, part of which effort was designed to play up the “Bernie Bro” meme.

Thee is a veritable army of “Hill Trolls” who’ve been infiltrating your social media feed for cold, hard cash for many months now.

Funny how this didn’t get revealed a month ago, isn’t it? Clinton being crowned the Democratic primary winner by the mainstream media does wonders for transparency in the national news, it seems.

      Most damning:
      5. There will be no attempt whatsoever to bring Sanders supporters back into the Democratic fold.

How Donald Trump Dooms Republicans Way Beyond 2016

Donald Trump sewed up the GOP nomination Tuesday despite the clear dangers he poses to his party in November. Polls show him deeply vulnerable against Hillary Clinton, and he could cost Republicans the Senate and, according to some analyses, put their House majority in peril.

But the longer term threat Trump poses to the GOP is in some ways more vexing. After a Trump drubbing, the party could very well be in the exact same position it found itself in in 2008 and 2012, re-litigating a core question: Is the GOP losing because its candidates aren't conservative enough -- or because it's banking on a narrow, white constituency that is being eclipsed by a growing minority population?

"There was hope there would be some clarity in this election. My fear is that by nominating Trump we may not have that clarity," says Republican strategist Brian Walsh. "There were some Republicans who were saying when it was between Trump and Cruz that we would rather lose with Cruz, and at least put to rest this false narrative that we lost because the nominee wasn’t conservative enough."

In failing to stop Trump, the Republican Party may just exacerbate the civil war its been engaged in for most of the last decade.

Isn't this the guy Sarah calls 'The Great One'? He sure isn't a Trump lover and he's making it known loud and proud!

Mark Levin Unloads On 'Donald Trump Super PAC' Fox News (AUDIO)

Conservative pundit Mark Levin had some choice words Tuesday for Fox News in regards to its coverage of Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump.

Levin, a supporter of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), went off on Fox News for its treatment of Trump, starting with the network's refusal to give context to Cruz's meltdown over Trump's floating of an unsubstantiated National Enquirer story about Cruz's father.

Levin specifically targeted Fox's "The Five" for not clearing up the conspiracy theory that Cruz's father was photographed with Lee Harvey Oswald around the time of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, calling the network a "Donald Trump Super PAC."

“They may be laughing today, but they’re going to be rubbing their own faces in their own feces, I’ll tell you that, after this general election, because they have humiliated themselves,” Levin said. “Does Donald sound like he’s cutting a joke?”

During his tirade, Levin took shots at "Fox and Friends" and "Outnumbered" for taking it easy on Trump and for not asking follow-up questions about the "ludicrous" article.

"And what the hell is with the hosts on the 'Fox and Friends' show? They didn’t even challenge Trump!" Levin said. "Not a damn question! Nothing! Zero!”

Levin had no love for Trump and his surrogates' glib attitude either, saying Trump is doing “a hell of a pathetic job” of uniting the Republican Party.

"They think this is funny?" he asked. "We are going to get our asses kicked in the general election, ladies and gentlemen!”

A Fox News spokesperson did not immediately respond Wednesday morning to a request for comment from TPM.

Erick Erickson Vows To De-Register As GOPer If Trump Is Party's Nominee

Prominent conservative talk radio host Erick Erickson said Tuesday night he will de-register as a member of the Republican Party if Donald Trump secures the presidential nomination.

“If Trump is the Republican Party nominee, I won’t be a Republican,” Erickson, who founded RedState, told the Daily Beast. “I’m not down with white supremacists.”

On his blog The Resurgent, Erickson wrote Wednesday the GOP must "draw a line" with Trump, as the party did by refusing to support former KKK leader David Duke's run for U.S. Senate in 1990.

"If Republicans in 2016 are unwilling to draw a line and refuse to support Trump with what we know about him, I do not find it plausible that the GOP would reject another David Duke should he ever advance to Trump’s position," he wrote.

Erickson has for months rallied the #NeverTrump movement, calling for a third party candidate to mount a challenge to the billionaire and Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Warren: More Enthusiasm For Trump In KKK Than In GOP Leadership

Following Donald Trump's resounding victory in the Indiana primary, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) railed against the presumptive Republican presidential nominee in a series of tweets, noting he has "built his campaign on racism, sexism, and xenophobia."

She pledged to try her hardest to keep Trump's "toxic stew of hatred & insecurity" out of the White House.

Donald Trump Isn’t Going To Like This Fox News Reaction To His Victory In The Primaries (VIDEO)

...The interview began with O’Reilly asking Krauthammer to give his view on how the GOP establishment felt about Trump becoming the presumptive Republican nominee for President of the United States. His guest replied calmly:

“I have no idea what the so-called establishment, if it exists, is thinking. I can tell you what I’m thinking.” And boy, he really did.

O’Reilly asks Krauthammer if he would vote for Trump, who responds that based on the campaign so far:

“I don’t think I’d be capable voting for Donald Trump.”

The Fox host then attempts to sell Krauthammer on Trump, as if all the racist, sexist, frat bro behavior from the candidate so far will all fade away once the race for President moves into it’s next phase. Finally, after working up this fantasy version of Trump, he asks his guest why he wouldn’t vote for Donald if he re-positioned himself as a “practical-popular-conservative.”

“Why couldn’t you vote for him?” O’Reilly asks, before Krauthammer delivers a killer deadpan response with:

“Populist conservative is a contradiction in terms.”

5 Reasons The Republicans Just Nominated The Worst Possible Candidate: Trump

Donald Trump has cleared the Republican presidential field of all the credible (and not so credible) challengers, and is now the presumptive nominee for the same party that produced Teddy Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan. It is amazing.

But in picking Trump as their nominee, the Republican Party has chosen a candidate with a binder full of negatives, so many negatives in fact that it is highly unlikely he can overcome enough of them to win the presidency.

Here are 5 of the reasons.

When we look back at the history of this country, we celebrate some great thinkers who helped architect our nation. Men like Ben Franklin, Thomas Paine, George Washington, James Madison, John Jay, Alexander Hamilton.

How will history view this period in time? When our nation looked to be led by imbeciles? When anecdotes and sound-bites took precedence over science and empirical evidence?

Ben Franklin was a noted statesman and inventor; a world traveler and diplomat. Paine, Madison, Jay & Hamilton accomplished writers. Sarah Palin can barely compose a coherent sentence & Donald Trump wants us to believe the qualifying criteria for who should win the presidential contest (not, mind you, who is best suited to preside over the executive branch of our gov't) should be determined by who can best out-bully the others.

    What have we come to?

Anon at 9:16 am. There is no verb "architect." It is a noun referring to a person who designs buildings. The founding fathers you mention certainly were involved in a major way in "building" this country, but they did not "architect" it. That sounds like a non-English Sarah Palin-ism.

The biggest question about him should be: How does he make himself presidential when he has already displayed time after time that he naturally is NOT! So, is he going to become a play actor as POTUS? The guy is a liar and fraud and would be an awful representative of America and Americans!

She goes back and forth pronouncing them as "in'" and "ing," sentence to sentence and even within the same sentence. Her voice is so put on. She took the comments that some people (like Chris Matthews, who now can't stand her way of talking) made about her voice back in 2008, comments that said it was quirky in a charming way, and she has since played that up, but all you hear is fakery.
