Yet another reason to make sure that Donald Trump loses this election.

Courtesy of Think Progress:

President Obama’s climate change policies would be undone. Regulations on greenhouse gas emissions would be eliminated. The Keystone XL pipeline would be built. There would be no international agreement to prevent catastrophic climate change.

That is what Donald Trump’s energy policy would look like should he be elected president, the presumptive Republican nominee promised on Thursday before a pro-fossil fuel development crowd in Bismarck, North Dakota.

In a speech laying out his energy agenda for the United States, Trump promised to undo essentially every major policy developed in the last decade intended to slow human-caused global warming.

“We’re going to cancel the Paris climate agreement,” Trump said, referring to the landmark agreement between nearly 200 nations to keep the world from warming more than 2°C above average preindustrial levels. Climate scientists largely consider 2°C to be the limit for acceptable global warming before irreversible catastrophic impacts begin to occur.

This bloviating POS does not care one little bit about protecting this planet for future generations.

Undoubtedly he would invest in air conditioner manufacturing, water filtration companies, and personal breathing apparatus outlets in order to profit off the increased heat, lack of potable water, and air pollution that would surely occur in the wake of his presidency.

The man is a monster of almost comic book villain proportions and if the American people do not awaken to that reality they may finally see the death of America that has been predicted for so many decades, and perhaps even substantial damage done to the planet in general.

I know that sounds like hyperbole but if you are paying attention I imagine that you would agree with my assessment.

You won't get any argument from me, Gryph, visit any RWNJ site and read comments. It's shocking how stupid people are and what they believe.

  2. Randall4:48 AM

    comic book villain...

    two words:
    Dick Cheney

  3. Our Lad5:02 AM

Has anyone seen that photo of Robert Johnson at the crossroads with Donald Trump?

  4. Sounds like he is trying to lose: he is not fit to be President and he knows it. He's just out to destroy any credibility the GOP has in its ability to govern responsibly because they laughed at him trying to run before.

He was always a Democrat (of the Clinton variety) and suddenly he switches. What a scam he is pulling for larks. That his hotels are experiencing a 60% drop in occupancy might be giving him pause...Nah, he'll just use the losses to write off any money he is getting from stupid supporters.

    1. Anonymous5:13 AM

Trump was never a Democrat 5 03. He gave donations to some Democrats, but Trump has always been a Republican.

    2. Anonymous5:29 AM

I think he's quite serious about winning, Barbara, and if weren't for my grandchildren I'd say that I hope that he wins so his stupid supporters get EXACTLY what they thought they wanted.

We will miss the eight years of President Obama, that is a given! I am beyond disgusted with all of it.

Thanks for letting me rant, Gryph.

    3. Anonymous5:33 AM

5:13 AM How does that Trump koolaid taste? Throwing your support to a known rapist? You and your Trump ass licking ilk will get what you deserve, a big loss in November.

    4. Leland7:52 AM

With all due respect, 5:33, just how did 5:13 say he was in favor of Trump? That he would vote for him? All he did was contradict what Barbara posted.

Instead of attempting to belittle the poster, why didn't you try asking for links instead of striking out?

    5. Sorry, I thought Trump said at one point he was a Democrat, perhaps in his thinking/gut but then he says one thing, one day...

Agree, Leland, there are posters who are as ratty and childish as any on the "other side".
These extreme partisanship problems we have now will not improve with this kind of flaming out.

I was just spouting, IMHO, the "wisdom" of my many years. Feel free to disagree.

I am as terrified as everyone on this site at the prospect of a Trump win. We will all lose, including his supporters when they realize it.

  5. Anonymous5:15 AM

That pesky email problem of Hillary just got very serious: possible indictment. Bernie is right to stay the course (with his 10.9 pt lead over Trump, unlike Hillary's .2 percent loss):

The Espionage Act states that whoever is “entrusted” with state secrets must ensure this data isn’t “removed from its proper place of custody” and that “gross negligence” isn’t a defense:

Yes, Clinton’s 22 Top Secret emails were “illegally removed from its proper place.”

Also, how did Brian Pagliano transfer this intelligence from secure State Department networks, onto a private server, without authority or documentation from State?

Who helped Pagliano transfer this data?

The recent State Department report states there’s no documentation approving Clinton’s server.

    1. Anonymous5:24 AM

Guess they better round up Rice, Powell, and every other person who did the same thing... moron.

    2. Anonymous5:42 AM

1.Rice and Powell didn't have a private server set up in their basement, moron.
      2. Since when is "well, they did it too" a valid defense for putting national security at risk, moron?
      3. Powell and Rice are not running for President, moron.
      4. Rice and Powell were both willingly interviewed, Hillary? Refused. Moron.
      5. That server she had set up? It was administered by a civilian with ZERO clearance. Moron.
      6. Why? Why did she even have a private server? Did you know, without a .gov email, her enails (technically) are not subject to FOIA? Moron.
If you're actually buying her spin?
Well, I guess for a moron, it makes sense.

    3. Anonymous5:53 AM

5:42 AM Drunk already? You seem to love your moniker(moron), but calling you out for being a moron really chaps your silly ass, eh'? The truth hurts those who are LIARS.

    4. Anonymous6:10 AM

What part of the 5:42 post is a lie?
Please enlighten us, oh wise one.
I'm waiting with bated breath for you to somehow shine a light on Hillarys egregious misdeeds.
      Prove 5:42 wrong.
      I dare you.

    5. Anonymous6:16 AM

She's going to be indicted before the convention, it's going brokered, and they're going to nominate Biden on the floor.
      She's done.

    6. Anonymous7:22 AM

Condi and Powell have more serious problems, like lying to Congress and the UN in order to promote an illegal war.

Both Powell and Condi used private email for correspondence, it would have been safer if they had set up their own servers for security reasons.

Then again the NSA is still using floppy disks, so I guess the moron @ 5:42 thinks government servers are secure.

    7. Anonymous10:05 AM

Perhaps that's why Bernie is hanging in there...
      That and her bad health.

    8. Anonymous10:12 AM

Why is Hillary Clinton so disliked? She’s nearly as disliked as Donald Trump, whose unlikability is arguably the most explicable fact in the universe. But Clinton’s unpopularity is more complicated. She’s an accomplished and tireless public servant who has worked very hard to be liked by the people she serves. So what’s the problem?

Brooks comes close to an answer: “At least in her public persona, Clinton gives off an exclusively professional vibe: industrious, calculated, goal-oriented, distrustful. It’s hard from the outside to have a sense of her as a person; she is a role.” This is true enough, but I’d emphasize “calculated” and “distrustful.” She appears machine-like because she’s so afraid to let the mask slip, to expose herself to any risks whatsoever. There’s a certain wisdom in that, but taken too far it becomes an albatross.

The private email server is a direct result of Clinton trying too hard to protect herself. To the uncommitted voter, it looks less like cautiousness and more like deception. And it feeds the narrative that will plague Clinton for the rest of the election: She’s untrustworthy and inauthentic.

    9. Anonymous10:37 AM

Lol at 7:22 still trying the "but but they did it"...

Hey 7:22 Condi didn't even use email, that shows how mistaken you are right from the gate.

      And again...

Powell did not have a private server setup for government use.

But perhaps 'most stupid' of you, they aren't running for any office.

So go ahead, charge them all with something- Hillz included with the most severe charges.

  6. Anonymous5:16 AM

There are a lot of 're sites that hate him and will probably suffer if he is elected. Bell, we are all going to suffer.

  7. Anonymous5:23 AM

If according to Trump Palin was "so special" why didn't she appear on Celebrity Apprentice so he could showcase her?

    1. Anonymous5:33 AM

Or businesswoman Bristol? I mean, gee, two enterprising women, fairly attractive, and they had their yuuugge fan base back then. Wonder if Sarah declined...too scared to be on stage with all those MBAs.

      $arah: Perpetual state of derpitude.

  8. Anonymous5:37 AM

Seeing the chaos that this creature's ignorant and hateful rhetoric is inflicting on the U.S. makes this Canadian want to spit nails. After nearly eight years of Obama's enlightened Presidency the very thought that Trump has even a ghost of a chance of undoing this President's policies is abhorrent and should provide the incentive for every thinking voter to make sure that that will never happen.

    1. Leland8:01 AM

Unfortunately 5:37, the key problem in your post is the phrase "every thinking voter". Far too many of Trump's followers seem not to comprehend the concept of THOUGHT.

My only hope is that the majority of the US voters DO understand the process - and USE it.

  9. Anonymous7:30 AM

Dollar Donnie is all about making a buck, he is ignorant enough to actually think the US is going to make money off the Keystone pipeline. Wow those 100 jobs are really going to jump start the economy. Probable more jobs for clean up of all the environmental disasters.

I guess he will send twitter threats to Justin Trudeau (if he knows Justin is PM) and make Canada pay up, like Mexico and his Trump Wall of Shame.

I guess there is no drought in California either, after all Dollar Donnie, "I don't know" blah blah heard something, from someone" blah blah said there is no drought and he never lies :)

Donald Trump Tells Drought-Plagued Californians: ‘There Is No Drought’

Bernie Sanders Tries To Get Barney Frank Thrown Off Of Convention Committee

The Bernie Sanders campaign has filed an official challenge to the credentials of Gov. Daniel Malloy and Barney Frank to serve as chair and co-chair of key committees at the Democratic convention because they are, "aggressive attack surrogates for Clinton."

    1. Anonymous8:14 AM

      You go HRC!

  12. Anonymous7:56 AM

OT:"Criticizing individual judges while also insinuating that there is a conspiracy against him is flat out crazy.

The System Isn’t ‘Rigged’ Against Sanders
Clinton’s winning because more Democrats want her to be the nominee.

  14. The most frightening and depressing thing is how quickly the supposedly sane Republican leadership ( with very few exceptions) jumped on board with this sick, crazy, totally unqualified and dangerous nominee!

  15. Anonymous9:33 AM

Donald Trump is a monster. He is insane. He frightens me and should frighten everyone. How ANYBODY could support this man is unbelievable.

  16. Anonymous10:13 AM

I'm not a female and I'm not sure about women shoes. When you wear open toe shoes, are your toes supposed to hang over the front of your shoes like Sarah Palin's claws?

    1. Anonymous12:48 PM

That happens when you wear open toed shoes that are too small for your feet.

  17. Anonymous11:10 AM

Have you seen his list of supposed cabinet appointments?

Yet another reason to vote against him.

  18. Hypocrite.

  19. Anonymous12:24 PM

America was built on greed and corruption. For the longest time, the so called liberals have been trying to tone it done to a humane level but now the shits about to hit the fan, and America's true colors are going to come out. More greed, and more corruption. That's why Donald is winning. Typical. The last horrah before we further fuck up this planet. Typical asshole human behavior. Ignorance and assholeness will get us there.

  20. Anonymous1:16 PM

Is he farting in that picture? I expect that will happen at some rally in the next five horrible months ahead.

  21. Anita Winecooler3:24 PM

No argument here. His tag line could be "Ivanka, I am your Father".

  22. Anonymous3:43 PM

I don't wish death upon Trump, but after
reading his future policies if he wins,
It looks like he does. Leaders from
around the world will not put up
    with this idiot's stupidity threating
their countries and citizens! The ignorant cowboy boot up your ass kicker from
Wasilla also had better watch her mouth!

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
