Yet another reason to make sure that Donald Trump loses this election.

Courtesy of Think Progress:

President Obama’s climate change policies would be undone. Regulations on greenhouse gas emissions would be eliminated. The Keystone XL pipeline would be built. There would be no international agreement to prevent catastrophic climate change.

That is what Donald Trump’s energy policy would look like should he be elected president, the presumptive Republican nominee promised on Thursday before a pro-fossil fuel development crowd in Bismarck, North Dakota.

In a speech laying out his energy agenda for the United States, Trump promised to undo essentially every major policy developed in the last decade intended to slow human-caused global warming.

“We’re going to cancel the Paris climate agreement,” Trump said, referring to the landmark agreement between nearly 200 nations to keep the world from warming more than 2°C above average preindustrial levels. Climate scientists largely consider 2°C to be the limit for acceptable global warming before irreversible catastrophic impacts begin to occur.

This bloviating POS does not care one little bit about protecting this planet for future generations.

Undoubtedly he would invest in air conditioner manufacturing, water filtration companies, and personal breathing apparatus outlets in order to profit off the increased heat, lack of potable water, and air pollution that would surely occur in the wake of his presidency.

The man is a monster of almost comic book villain proportions and if the American people do not awaken to that reality they may finally see the death of America that has been predicted for so many decades, and perhaps even substantial damage done to the planet in general.

I know that sounds like hyperbole but if you are paying attention I imagine that you would agree with my assessment.

You won't get any argument from me, Gryph, visit any RWNJ site and read comments. It's shocking how stupid people are and what they believe.

  4. Sounds like he is trying to lose: he is not fit to be President and he knows it. He's just out to destroy any credibility the GOP has in its ability to govern responsibly because they laughed at him trying to run before.

He was always a Democrat (of the Clinton variety) and suddenly he switches. What a scam he is pulling for larks. That his hotels are experiencing a 60% drop in occupancy might be giving him pause...Nah, he'll just use the losses to write off any money he is getting from stupid supporters.

Trump was never a Democrat 5 03. He gave donations to some Democrats, but Trump has always been a Republican.

I think he's quite serious about winning, Barbara, and if weren't for my grandchildren I'd say that I hope that he wins so his stupid supporters get EXACTLY what they thought they wanted.

We will miss the eight years of President Obama, that is a given! I am beyond disgusted with all of it.

Thanks for letting me rant, Gryph.

With all due respect, 5:33, just how did 5:13 say he was in favor of Trump? That he would vote for him? All he did was contradict what Barbara posted.

Instead of attempting to belittle the poster, why didn't you try asking for links instead of striking out?

    5. Sorry, I thought Trump said at one point he was a Democrat, perhaps in his thinking/gut but then he says one thing, one day...

Agree, Leland, there are posters who are as ratty and childish as any on the "other side".
These extreme partisanship problems we have now will not improve with this kind of flaming out.

I was just spouting, IMHO, the "wisdom" of my many years. Feel free to disagree.

I am as terrified as everyone on this site at the prospect of a Trump win. We will all lose, including his supporters when they realize it.

That pesky email problem of Hillary just got very serious: possible indictment. Bernie is right to stay the course (with his 10.9 pt lead over Trump, unlike Hillary's .2 percent loss):

    http://www.salon.com/2016/05/27/time_to_care_about_damn_emails_hillary_clinton_has_a_serious_legal_problem/

The Espionage Act states that whoever is “entrusted” with state secrets must ensure this data isn’t “removed from its proper place of custody” and that “gross negligence” isn’t a defense:

Yes, Clinton’s 22 Top Secret emails were “illegally removed from its proper place.”

Also, how did Brian Pagliano transfer this intelligence from secure State Department networks, onto a private server, without authority or documentation from State?

Who helped Pagliano transfer this data?

The recent State Department report states there’s no documentation approving Clinton’s server.

Condi and Powell have more serious problems, like lying to Congress and the UN in order to promote an illegal war.

Both Powell and Condi used private email for correspondence, it would have been safer if they had set up their own servers for security reasons.

Then again the NSA is still using floppy disks, so I guess the moron @ 5:42 thinks government servers are secure.

Why is Hillary Clinton so disliked? She’s nearly as disliked as Donald Trump, whose unlikability is arguably the most explicable fact in the universe. But Clinton’s unpopularity is more complicated. She’s an accomplished and tireless public servant who has worked very hard to be liked by the people she serves. So what’s the problem?

Brooks comes close to an answer: “At least in her public persona, Clinton gives off an exclusively professional vibe: industrious, calculated, goal-oriented, distrustful. It’s hard from the outside to have a sense of her as a person; she is a role.” This is true enough, but I’d emphasize “calculated” and “distrustful.” She appears machine-like because she’s so afraid to let the mask slip, to expose herself to any risks whatsoever. There’s a certain wisdom in that, but taken too far it becomes an albatross.

The private email server is a direct result of Clinton trying too hard to protect herself. To the uncommitted voter, it looks less like cautiousness and more like deception. And it feeds the narrative that will plague Clinton for the rest of the election: She’s untrustworthy and inauthentic.

Hey 7:22 Condi didn't even use email, that shows how mistaken you are right from the gate.

      And again...

Powell did not have a private server setup for government use.

But perhaps 'most stupid' of you, they aren't running for any office.

So go ahead, charge them all with something- Hillz included with the most severe charges.

After nearly eight years of Obama's enlightened Presidency the very thought that Trump has even a ghost of a chance of undoing this President's policies is abhorrent and should provide the incentive for every thinking voter to make sure that that will never happen.

Unfortunately 5:37, the key problem in your post is the phrase "every thinking voter". Far too many of Trump's followers seem not to comprehend the concept of THOUGHT.

My only hope is that the majority of the US voters DO understand the process - and USE it.
