Hillary Clinton takes on Donald Trump on his home turf, Twitter, and destroys him there as well.

What else ya got?
So after Hillary went after Trump in her speech on Thursday, Trump decided to counter attack her on his favorite media platform.
However Hillary was prepared for this and responded with:
That tweet links to her website where each charge she made in her speech is itemized and then backed up with the actual Trump quote in which he said it.

So essentially Hillary has shellacked Donald Trump yet again, only this time on his most familiar playing field.

If she keeps this up, with a little help from Elizabeth Warren, I think Donald Trump will be happy to lose this election just so the mean ladies will stop giving him a case of the sads.

      You are absolutely right!

As we get closer to Election Day and the polls in the important states show Donald is going to lose, he is absolutely going to destroy himself. You think the things he have said so far are horrible? We haven't seen anything yet.

I honestly see a scenario where Trump makes up some extraordinary excuse (like Ross Perot did in 1992 when he briefly dropped out of the election) and he drops out of the election before Election Day.

A loss to Hillary Clinton will be humiliating to him. He will become the next Sarah Palin and will be desperately hoping to stay relevant while even his once-loyal supporters become sick of him and wish he'd just shut up and go away.

Donald has worked very hard with the media to stay relevant for years. But this ego driven presidential run has exposed him far more than he could ever have imagined. He has irreparably damaged his businesses and his "brand". His supporters aren't the ones who'll support him at his golf courses, resorts, posh hotels or by his crap like ties, bedding, wine, steak or whatever other sh*t he's pedalling. Put a fork in it cuz Donny's done like dinner both in the run for the presidency and in his business ventures.

Interesting perspective that I think is absolutely correct. For his entire career, his success depended on being able to convince everyone he was a winner at everything he touched, and they could be winners too if they only aligned themselves with him.

When the general election campaign really gets started and the dirt they've been holding onto gets released, his name will be forever tarnished. His dirty little secrets will exposed to the world repeatedly in every type of media. Then he will lose the most public contest there is in this country, with the entire world watching every step of the way.

Already, many of the tycoons and international businesses he negotiates with are backing out of future deals, and his reputation has been severely damaged.

He is certainly old enough and rich enough to survive even without any additional business mega-deals, but his massive ego will never survive the humiliation.

I agree that his brand is already irreparably ruined. It will continue to go down over the next few years; he's already trying to mend fences in Scotland by going there. Between his poor mental health and his poor physical health, he is deteriorating in every way. If he really is a business man and not a buffoon, he will leave the race to stop his financial losses. Trump U fraud may leave him no choice. Watch who starts to stand by on deck...

They aren't looking to find the best leader. They feel the left is so godless and immoral that they must win at all cost. There is no analysis of the characters in their war to identify right and wrong Any thinking they do is to plot combat strategies.

"The Mayo Clinic describes it as “a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others.” This is bad enough in selecting a spouse or a friend. But when applied to a prospective president, the symptoms are disqualifying.

With Trump ever in mind, try these. An exaggerated sense of self-importance. An unwarranted belief in your own superiority. A preoccupation with fantasies of your own success, power and brilliance. A craving for constant admiration. A consuming sense of entitlement. An expectation of special favors and unquestioning compliance.

A penchant for exploiting or disparaging others. A total inability to recognize the needs of anyone else. An incapacity to see those you meet as separate human beings. An unreasoning fury at people you perceive as thwarting your wishes or desires. A tendency to act on impulse. A superficial charm deployed to disguise a gift for manipulation.

A need to always be right. A refusal to acknowledge error. An inability to tolerate criticism or critics. A compulsion to conform your ever - shifting sense of “reality” to satisfy your inner requirements . A tendency to lie so frequently and routinely that objective truth loses all meaning.

A belief that you are above the rules. An array of inconsistent statements and behaviors driven by your needs in the moment. An inability to assess the consequences of your actions in new or complex situations. In sum, a total incapacity to separate the world from your own psychodrama.

      Recognize anyone?"

"Opposition of any kind enrages him. He incites reprisals against protesters. He threatened violence in Cleveland as payback for the GOP’s “unfairness.” He fuels anger against Hispanics, Muslims, and other minorities whom he perceives as inimical. And never - not once - does he take any responsibility for stirring these toxic pots. For one of the symptoms of his disability is an absence of conscience or accountability."

"Consistent with his character disorder, Trump proudly insists that his chief advisor is himself. Even were he so inclined, in order to learn from others he must know enough to discern good advice from bad. But such is his pathology that he feels no need to learn much of anything from anyone. And so, from the beginning, he has plunged us down the bottomless rabbit hole of his intellectual emptiness."

    And this:

    The Benghazi Committee’s Dead End

...After running a congressional oversight committee like a Republican opposition research shop for more than two years, Representative Trey Gowdy appears to be gearing up for the finale. Democrats on the Select Committee on Benghazi expect that a final report will drop soon, just as Hillary Clinton appears poised to clinch the Democratic nomination.

If things had gone his way, Mr. Gowdy, a former federal prosecutor, would have found a way to torpedo Mrs. Clinton’s presidential ambitions. After all, Republican lawmakers have admitted that this is precisely what they set out to do.

But things have not gone well for Mr. Gowdy, who has run the investigation with the dexterity and grace of a blindfolded toddler swinging at a piñata. Having pored over reams of documents, grilled Mrs. Clinton in an 11-hour session in October and hauled in more than 100 people for interviews, the Republicans seem to have come up with nothing.

In the Heartland, Trouble for Mr. Trump, and Opportunity for Mrs. Clinton

...These states make up a big chunk of the crucial Midwestern electorate. All three went Democratic in the 2012 election, and so far, they’ve been more resistant to Donald Trump than Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania, suggesting that his appeal to white, working-class resentment has limits.

Conversely, this region could prove fertile ground for Hillary Clinton, especially if she can provide answers to a three-year decline in commodity prices that — combined with rising health costs — has persuaded some farmers to sell out. She must also convince longtime progressives here that her new, more liberal positions are more than just a response to Bernie Sanders.

If You Ever Need a Reminder of How Awful and Incoherent Trump Is, Watch This

Describing a Donald Trump interview as insane, surreal, or mind-numbingly incoherent is cliché by now but, frankly, I’m not sure how else to sum up his recent sitdown with CNN’s Jake Tapper. (Well, at least with the notable exceptions of bigoted and racist, though that also isn’t exactly breaking new ground when it comes to Trump.) So, instead, you should just watch the clip for yourself to see the presumptive Republican nominee repeat over and over again, “I'm building a wall,” to explain to an exasperated Tapper why a U.S. judge who was born in Indiana to Mexican immigrants shouldn’t be allowed to preside over the Trump University lawsuit.

How Should America Resist a Fascist?

Violence won’t help—not while there are still legitimate means of stopping Donald Trump.

After Donald Trump claimed the Republican presidential nomination, neoconservative scholar Robert Kagan wrote an essay for the Washington Post that made a simple but provocative claim: Trump, now a stone’s throw from the White House, was a vector for fascism. That, in running a campaign of threat and intimidation—against political adversaries, against foreign countries, against nonwhites and religious minorities—Trump had opened the door to the worst passions and darkest urges of American society.

“This is how fascism comes to America, not with jackboots and salutes,” wrote Kagan, “but with a television huckster, a phony billionaire, a textbook egomaniac ‘tapping into’ popular resentments and insecurities, and with an entire national political party—out of ambition or blind party loyalty, or simply out of fear—falling into line behind him.”

Mexicans, Muslims, Cubans, Blacks: Donald Trump Is a Serial Exploiter of Prejudice

Cross him and your ethnicity is grounds for suspicion.

...From this interview and other statements during the campaign, we have a clear portrait of Trump’s thinking about minorities. It extends beyond Latinos to blacks, Muslims, and other groups. Trump isn’t an incorrigible bigot. He’s an incorrigible user of bigotry. This is no longer deniable. Republican leaders who support Trump—Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and House Speaker Paul Ryan—should explain why they accept this conduct in their presidential nominee.

Bernie Sanders Has Already Won California

The results won't change the Democratic contest—but the campaign has changed everything.

...The reason for this is an incredible divide on age, which does mirror what we’ve seen in other primaries. Sanders is winning 75-15 among Californians under 30, while Clinton has nearly a two-to-one advantage among voters 50 and older. Among first-time voters, Sanders is winning by a remarkable 60-21. This first-time voter split is similar to other primaries. The difference is that California simply has a lot more young voters to surge to the polls and make manifest Sanders’s “political revolution.”

Demographically, California represents the Democratic Party’s future.

The media have reached a turning point in covering Donald Trump. He may not survive it.

The news media have come in for a lot of criticism in the way they’ve reported this election, which makes it exactly like every other election. But something may have changed just in the last few days. I have no idea how meaningful it will turn out to be or how long it will last.

But it’s possible that when we look back over the sweep of this most unusual campaign, we’ll mark this week as a significant turning point: the time when journalists finally figured out how to cover Donald Trump.

In all his decades of dealing with the media, it's always been his word/his opinion and no one has ever really scrutinized it. And any who did cross the Donald, could be subjected to vindictive and costly litigation. Now, running for public office, he puts himself out there as well as everything he's ever said and it's fair game to examine it in depth.

I suspect that it won't be much longer before we find out that Trump isn't going to quit his run for the WH. It would be in keeping with the Sarah Palin model wouldn't it LOL

I think that Hillary's foreign policy speech the other day turned the tide for her in this election. People now can see her as a smart fighter and one who is not afraid to confront a bully. Ironic that her speech came on the heels of her former (losing) campaign advisers offering their wisdom by saying that Hillary should just talk of her good points and experience and not engage with Trump. (No wonder she lost in 2008.)

Sometimes you have to go after a bully and beat him at his own game. If the media does keep Trump's feet to the fire, she should win handily in November. (Bernie is done, regardless of how he does in California. She will have the nom locked up before the votes are counted in California.)
