Supposed billionaire Donald Trump sends out emergency e-mail asking for $100,000 dollars. Wait, what?

Courtesy of CNN:

The Donald Trump campaign on Saturday released its first "emergency" fund-raising email, in response to an ad blitz from the Hillary Clinton campaign.

"Right now we're facing an emergency goal of $100,000 to help get our ads on the air. We need your contribution by 11:59 P.M. Tonight," the email from Team Trump said.

"Crooked Hillary is about to invade your TV with ads attacking Mr. Trump. But we're preparing to fight back," it reads.

The email promises to release ads attacking Clinton on her role in Benghazi, the integrity of her donors and reported FBI probing of her private email server while secretary of state.

The urgent fundraising email is routine for most presidential campaigns. But it's particularly notable since Trump insisted repeatedly during the GOP primary season that he was self-funding his campaign, only to start asking for donations later on.

Self-funding campaign my ass!

How does a guy like Trump, with all of his supposed wealth, not have $100,000 in his back pocket?

And what do his supporters get for their contribution? A couple of measly ads attacking Hillary over Benghazi and the e-mail "scandal."  Damn that's weak!

Trump is also claiming that he has personally spent 55 million of his own money to finance his campaign, but as the Atlantic pointed out in back in May, those are actually loans that "the Donald" will more than likely demand to be paid back by the RNC or by his donors.

Let's face it, the guy is simply a fraud.  Or using Charlie Sheen's description, a "big bag of dogshit."

How much of the love and devotion that this freak gets from his dwindling band of mouth breathers is due to their mistaken belief that he doesn't need or want THEIR money?

I hope more and more Americans see the fraud that Trump has always been throughout his life. Can hardly wait to see more factual information disclosed about his evil doings throughout his pathetic life!

He is NOT qualified to be POTUS. The world is laughing at the fact the Republicans are even backing the jerk!

Vote for Hillary Clinton - she will be as good a POTUS as has President Obama! We need her leading our country - she will be another 'sane' leader!

Garage Sale at Trump Towers. If and that's a huuuuuuuge if, he's so rich, why beg, and why now? I guess he's releasing the other clowns from keeping their oath to support him as their nominee. What a joke!

He is looking into the possibility of starting his own TV station, like Fox News! Imagine, he would be on 24/7, since he is his favorite person. I think he is all talk, no money. He is probably in debt up to his ears, and will declare bankruptcy once this is over. He will leave lots of people high and dry, that is what he does best. I think THIS time he will be exposed for the con man that he is.Bloated, orange clown.

    1. Ha! I just posted above this that I thought Trump would accept $$ to bow out.

Via email, @mcuban tells me he thinks Trump would drop out for $5 billion. Considers $150 million too paltry.

So now we have a figure -- it's somewhere between those two numbers.

Why pay him, he will sink in his own bile in the not too distant future. He does not REALLY want the job as President, he does not like hard work. The Saudi prince who has loaned him lots of $$$ knows him better than anyone, and does not respect him.

Everything he says and does is gross. For 9 hours he's had a retweet on his Twitter page that shows Ivanka in a black tank dress and looking sexy, and the person who tweeted has her saying things about how her father empowers her. Trump's own last tweet is at 20 hours ago. He has nothing to say today, I guess, but if he does then he's not saying it because he wants that retweet of Ivanka looking sexy for daddy up there. G-R-O-S-S.

Now Trump wants to start racial profiling -

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/06/19/donald-trump-calls-for-racial-profiling-amid-republican-plot-to/

Welcome to Germany circa the 1930's. Since the "star" has already been used, maybe it can be a crescent this time around.

And seriously, how does this Hitler wannabe figure he'll be able to racially profile a religion? The Boston bombers weren't Middle Eastern. Oh ya, that's why you need them to wear yellow crescents on their clothing so you can know who "they" are. Next thing you know, he'll call for destroying houses of worship and businesses owned by "them". Cattle cars next I suppose.

Be afraid my neighbours to the south, be very afraid.

I read somewhere today that Trump has enlisted a grand total of 30, that's right 30, total staff persons to run his national campaign. He has pissed off everyone in his party, so it is unlikely that the RNC will be running to help him ramp up his support organization for the general election. Trump is now facing humiliations the likes of which he has only previously seen in his nightmares.

And 100K? Can he buy even one national ad with 100K?

Humiliation is not in his vocabulary. A normal person would have been humiliated long ago, with some of the CRAP he spouts. He is a joke, a carnival barker. I would think one of his kids would have tried to talk sense into him months ago. Maybe they are deluded as he is. Maybe they KNOW he is broke, and want to help shore up their inheritances? Why PAY him to bow out, he is sinking like a rock without large infusion of $$$.

  14. $100,000 sounds like about what he'd need for a jet fuel fill-up for his campaign plane.

It'd buy about 10 seconds of ad time. Maybe not even that. And isn't it a little late to be thinking about counter-punch ads?

I believe that the campaign has already paid back millions in loans to his campaign, and, in fact, loan payments have been, like, the number one expenditure of the campaign. But that was the last time I read about the report. That might not be true anymore.
