The House Benghazi committee is preparing to release its report, a report which is going to be very disappointing to the Right Wing conspiracy crowd.

Trey Gowdy
Courtesy of the New York Times:

After running a congressional oversight committee like a Republican opposition research shop for more than two years, Representative Trey Gowdy appears to be gearing up for the finale. Democrats on the Select Committee on Benghazi expect that a final report will drop soon, just as Hillary Clinton appears poised to clinch the Democratic nomination.

If things had gone his way, Mr. Gowdy, a former federal prosecutor, would have found a way to torpedo Mrs. Clinton’s presidential ambitions. After all, Republican lawmakers have admitted that this is precisely what they set out to do.

But things have not gone well for Mr. Gowdy, who has run the investigation with the dexterity and grace of a blindfolded toddler swinging at a piƱata. Having pored over reams of documents, grilled Mrs. Clinton in an 11-hour session in October and hauled in more than 100 people for interviews, the Republicans seem to have come up with nothing.

So after spending 20 million dollars of taxpayer money, and running longer than the investigation into 9/11, this witch hunt ends with a whimper and not the bang the conservatives were praying for.

Gee, who saw that coming?

Oh yeah, everybody.

But don't worry, there is STILL the e-mail "scandal" and surely that will come up with something.

Right?

I have said it before, but it bears repeating, I am dying to see what Hillary Clinton does as President which has terrified the Right Wing for so many decades.

The thing that scares republicans the most about democrats is their competency. The GOP is a conglomerate of scam artists, swindlers, and back room dealers. The truth and facts are not their friends.

The GOP base have finally open their eyes to this, but instead of taking stock and weeding out the rotten apples, they have jumped into the hornets nest of grifting and bigotry by supporting Donald Trump.

    2020 contenders,
Cruz, Rubio, Cotton, Sasse, Walker and Ryan prepare for political life after Trump.

“Trump will have a very negative impact on our brand and what potential candidates do regarding Trump could impact them in the 2020 general election,” said Jason Roe, a veteran Republican strategist who advised Marco Rubio during this year’s primary. “On the other hand, not getting behind Trump will hurt them in the 2020 primary. It’s a tough spot for our party and those candidates.”

This list of gop 2020 contenders is just as pathetic as the 2016 list. It just goes to show that intelligent policy makers are not republicans. Instead the gop has candidates who don't know what real work is and they are unable to value to need for compromise. Anyone who has endorsed Trump should be totally embarrassed.

Gee, how do we pretend to support Trump while at the same time pretending not to support him?

It's only a tough spot for them if they lack morals, ethics, standards, and the will to just say and do what is best for the country.

I read the article which was written in March, before the official report was released. Sigh. It's old data but I did read through the blog so here is my report:

I got the impression that the blog writer believes what they wrote. I noted that while there were many facts presented the overall perspective was of one who really wanted to condemn Hilary for doing what others have already done. The blog writer didn't include all the facts, only those that supported their agenda which is to discredit Hilary. For pete's sake - they believe there is a there there with Benghazi. Do I need to say more?

So anon - why are you supplying a blog entry that is not empirical evidence but propaganda? Oh yeah.... Hilary is a girl therefore she has to comply with the sekrit never to be revealed rules in addition to the rules that apply to boys.

Overall, anon, I found your 'proof' to be an opinion piece masked as a political expose with critical facts either skipped or masked. Yep, you are a troll and your pants just grew three sizes.

It's not what Hillary does, it's what she is- i.e., a WOMAN.

When I was in 8th grade civics, someone asked if a woman could ever become president.

The teacher kind of twisted his face in scorn, and said "A black man could become president before a woman ever could!"

Trump Threatens To Throw Hillary Clinton In Prison If He Wins The White House

Donald Trump is suggesting that if he wins the presidential election, he is going to imprison Hillary Clinton, because, "everyone knows she's guilty."

...During an interview on CBS’s Face The Nation, Trump said, “I would have my attorney general look at it because everyone knows that she’s guilty. Now I would say this, she’s guilty but I would let my attorney general make that determination. Maybe they would disagree.”

Trump would have his attorney general look at it, but everyone knows she’s guilty suggest some North Korea style “justice,” will be coming Hillary Clinton’s way if Trump wins the election. These are the kinds of statements that confirm that Trump doesn’t want to be president. He wants to be a dictator.

Trump Says Muslim Judges Also Might Not Be Fair To Him

Trump previously said a U.S. District Court judge treated him in a “hostile manner” due to the judge’s Mexican heritage.

Presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump broadened his objections to the judiciary on Sunday, saying in an interview it was “absolutely” possible that he’d be treated unfairly by a Muslim judge.

During an interview on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Trump continued his overtly racist tirade against U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel, who unsealed documents this week revealing predatory practices by salespeople at the now-defunct Trump University.

Trump claimed the judge, who was born in Indiana, treated him in a “hostile manner” due to the judge’s Mexican heritage.

“I think it has a lot to do with it. First of all, I’ve had terrible rulings forever,” Trump said. “This is a case I should’ve won on summary judgment.”

Elizabeth Warren Just Delivered A Beat Down On Trump That Should Terrify Republicans

...Donald Trump is a proven businessman. A proven failure.

According to Politico, Sen. Warren summed up the Trump University scandal in a way that should terrify the GOP, “These were ordinary folks who were targeted because they had problems and Trump saw they were vulnerable and he could make a buck. Here’s a man who builds a business to profit off other peoples’ pain. He wants to be Commander in Chief, but he’s only qualified to be Fraudster-in-Chief.”

Thanks to Trump’s own behavior, Democrats are having no trouble making the allegation that Trump is only in it for himself stick. It is also easy to label Trump a fraudster because he is being sued for fraud in multiple states.

Donald Trump’s entire campaign was built around the candidate’s own self-created myths about his motives and business success. Warren punctured those myths and showed the American people who Donald Trump really is.
