Dakota Meyer on Fox News this morning, unloading on Republican candidate Donald Trump.

Okay well clearly somebody's new catch phrase is "beacon of hope."

At the end of the interview Meyer is unable to continue to focus on attacking the Democrats for the handful of Bernie supporters who booed some of the speakers, and instead goes after Trump for his disrespect for the military.

Dakota is clearly as dumb as a box of rocks, but he is at least smart enough to recognize what a terrible candidate Trump is for the Republicans, and what a terrible president he would be for the country.

That puts him at least a few IQ points ahead of his mother-in-law.

McCain's Granddaughter Voting For Clinton, Cites Trump's POW Comments

"My grandfather responded with grace and forgiveness — as only a man who was held in captivity for years can," she said. "But I’ve been nursing a grudge ever since. Trump’s statement, in my view, is unforgivable, and speaks to the kind of man he is: a coward who has never faced danger in his life, an insecure brat who shirked duty for comfort, and a man who is wholly unfit to serve as commander-in-chief."

    2. Anonymous9:13 AM

Sarah may be 'supporting' Trump but she is an outsider. It may be passive aggressive support. She may be delighted to have her new toy bring up Trump as he did.

I think Dakota is voting for him. Most of his fans say Trump will be president and he will take out everything President Obama did.

Part of Dakota's act is to fight and stand up for vets, military. Trump put down McCain, said he was a loser (with Sarah). Sarah might want to go off about that but has to tow the Trump line.

It is convoluted. IMO Dakota needs attention and he can work himself up over this kind of deal. Fox can use him and there he is. Don't disrespect a MOH.

Travels the country, gets paid, to go to military and veterans' events to speak and encourage them.

He also has the U.S. Marine Corps behind him providing anything and every thing he might need to do a better job.

So, why isn't he taking advantage of speech lessons?

If you Google up videos of him at his events, he speaks in much the same way, but the ones I've seen he's followed a script.

I realize speaking can be terrifying for many people, but I'm not giving this guy a pass. He has too much time doing this and has too many resources at his disposal to make great improvements.

Kind of like Sarah, isn't it? The best of the best out to help her and she turns away from the chance to improve.

Also, too, this isn't his first time on Fox or TV, so I won't give him a pass.

If I see improvement, like he's putting out an effort, I'll gladly say something good in the future.

Meyers wasn't interviewed as a MOH recipient but as a Republican MOH recipient. It was disappointing and showed a lack of critical thinking to so readily define an *anti-war* chant as anti-military and to attribute the protests of a few to 'liberals' and the Democratic Party. Did they not hear the same disrespectful interruptions while Clinton was speaking?

I wonder if this interview took place before Donald Trump began specifically trashing Gen. Allen. I think, following his comments in this interview, Dakota has a responsibility to address Trump's several, repeated attacks on the 4-star Marine general.

Someone asked for Dakota to appear on Fox, either Dakota or Sarah. He has appeared on Fox before. It is never too late to see a speech therapist, especially if Dakota is thinking about running for public office. That's a joke, but it has nothing to do with the way he speaks. It has more to do with the fact that he has nothing to say.

He can be helped with speech problems. Has he done anything to address his issues? He says he is a public figure. He needs to deal with all the public and address issues. He is also a public speaker. Other public speakers have been stutterers, they deal with it.

I can't tell if he has a drug problem or not. If you are with other drug addicts, people think you may have the same problem.

Meyer refused PTSD treatment. If he is not a stand up person and addressing things he will be mocked. That is life. A marine would get that.

Since there is film to show he faked his award, he is stolen valor to some. He could address that, it is not going away.

Especially with all the shady things he has engaged in before and after and the people he picks to associate with.

One day he may man up like a marine, don't hold your breath. He will more like be the same. He appears to be stuck in a situation he made. As more comes up and out it will be more clear. I don't expect clarity from Dakota Meyer. He is not honest and he is not clear.

The interviewer making the statement that DNC showed more patriotism than the RNC. They had one night of actually saying USA . The RNC had every night putting America first.

Dakota is a military guy through and through and would never admit that the Military is weak , however, He would be the first to admit that the Military is not what it once was, it has been depleted, it has been ignored ,it has been starved into a diet that doesn't promote strength.

This interviewer wanted this outcome and he got it, Hopefully Sarah and Bristol will tell him how easily he was baited.

Dakota has to be real dumb if he won't say something yet he goes on TV to show people a weak military since he is so weak. He is the poster boy for weak military.

That is why he compensates and pushes he is a protector. Never outgunned.

If the military was stronger they would not have to keep a guy that is screwing them over with the fake MOH and keeping the military and taxpayers supporting his grift.

Strong military goes after the mistakes, stolen valor and crimes.

He has a lot to clean up if he wants the military to look stronger.

What a shame. There are so many strong and brave that are deserving in the military.

Another thing. He is on a TV station that is a creep and pervert operation. Secrets, abuse lies for decades. It is the media known to lie and be about lying. He is weak to join the liars and they lying on TV.

Our military is great and strong in so many ways. Dakota Meyers and his story are not part of the strength and he is the last person that anyone should want to represent anything military or talk about the military.

Bust it up, break it down and stop wasting our money monkeying around in sovereign countries.

That's why this Russia thing cracks me up so much. Everyone is up in arms about Russia hacking into our political process; we've done that a million times to other countries, but we get all pissy when another country does it to us.

Dakota, You don't think the military hasn't been down graded or transformed since Obama took office in 2009? Let's see, Obama and his defense department is going to allow transgender people to not only serve, but to receive certain treatments and operations on the tax payer dime. They are trying to brain wash active Marines into believing that having women on the front lines is perfectly acceptable. For example, the Marine Corps rolled out a commanders toolkit of optional online classes on similar topics in late 2014 as they were getting ready to force women on the front lines. The U.S. Marine Corps commanders toolkit in 2016 includes NOT how to defeat ISIS by killing them first. Not how to shoot the enemy in the face before he shoots you in the face. There’s a kit given out to commanders in the Marine Corps by Obama's insane commanders....pregnancy simulators, breast pumps, tactical lactation station overlays, red high heels and a proper procedure to set up a unisex latrine.

I'd respect him more if he took President Obama's advice and got some education. He should show President Obama more respect. He should show Michael Moore more respect. He should show his military peers more respect by learning how to present his (and their) views clearly.

Eff off 12:43. You're part of teh problem. NOt everyone in the military, LIKE EVERY OTHER WALK OF LIFE is a saint. Some are shits going in and shits coming out. Some go in good and come out jerks. Some go in jerks and through the military learn quite a bit and come out better men and women, or stay in and serve as models to younger soldiers and get their jobs done.

Having served does not mean you get a free pass in other aspects of your life. He claims to be a public speaker, well hells bells, boy, learn to be one then. GI Bill? Private coach? Oh, that 's work and ex military can be lazy asses, too.

I "support the troops" with my hefty Federal tax payments, because I have no other choice. If I was allowed to choose where my tax dollars were spent it certainly wouldn't be on military or the troops who came home broken.

I have zero patriotic feelings towards the absolute wanton murder of civilians in the middle east, and remember, back in the 1980's our tax dollars went toward supporting the Taliban against Russia in Afghanistan. Now our tax dollars are going toward defeating a group that we spent a lot of money to support, because, hello, Russia, we'd do anything to mess with them back in the day.

They are not protecting "our freedoms" but they are meddling in other countries where they don't belong, much like Russia invading our 2016 election.

I really tried listening to Dakota to give him the benefit of the doubt. But he says in one breath that our military is not weak, so how do we make it stronger? Does he even listen to himself? Torture. This is pure torture!

Ugh, you know, i…i..i.. it’s just, it’s typical, I mean, it’s typical of what the modern liberals don’t understand, you know, they think that all noble wars matter, all wars or this or that, you know what I really think, it’s you know, because of guys like Joe or George Allen who you know have done an excellent job over the last 12 or 13 or 14 years or whatever it is keeping the enemy off of our ground and going over there and fighting them.

Other people don’t understand, what they don’t understand, and the ignorant part of it is, is that you know, that they want that black lives matter or these lives matter or all lives matter. In America, all lives matter, so that the enemy that those men have been fighting, have been protecting, no lives matter.

Yeah, I mean, it’s always gonna be someone else, at the end of the day they’re at the DNC or they’re democratic supporters, you know what I mean, like I…I..I…I bet you anything that wouldn’t have happened at the RNC.

I..I…I mean, look, at the end of the day, look, y…you know that both conventions are show, right? I mean, so, I mean, let’s look at the majority, let’s look at the majority, of the of the party, not out there screaming, you know, the majority out there across America bu bu bu I mean, we need a leader who gets in there that that goes goes out there and represents that beacon of hope that we are. For my piece of it, the the military, I mean, that we we have to be protected, I mean, look, our military, I keep hearing that our military’s weak. Our military’s not weak but how do we make it stronger? How do we go forward? I mean, we are the beacon of hope. America is the beacon of hope across the world and and and I think that we need a leader who is going in there and portrays that.

I QUIT! Is Sarah Palin writing his material?

Whoo boy, that's a dumb one there. I think he might be a little stoned too? I don't know. But that's a pitiful example of what the schools produce in Kentucky or wherever he grew up. Maybe he's another one with a learning disability that never got treated.

This man was already operating at a 10th grade level even before he moved to Wasilla.

He's just a Kentucky Kletus that barely graduated high school and joined the military because he had no other options. How do you think they get so many people to sign up? Either you're a person who has barely graduated from HS who has no other options or you are a poor college student who has to do ROTC to get the military to pay for your school.
