Just taking the big dog out for a walk.

This man is the first politician that I can remember voting for who actually won.

Being a liberal in Alaska is seemed that every one of my votes might just as well have been flushed down the toilet.

Then in November of 1992 it suddenly seemed as if my voice had been heard.

Admittedly it was not a perfect presidency, but damn it was a hell of a lot better than many of the ones before it and infinitely better than the one that came immediately after.

I have great confidence that my vote helping to elect Hillary will be just as satisfying as that vote in 1992.

That's a cute photo. I read last night that the GOP convention will feature a presentation on his sexual peccadilloes. That's rather ironic considering who their presendential nominee will likely be.

Very nice photo. Very telling that the Presidents who care most for people always sems to like kids. President Obama loves kids, and they love him right back.

Adorable. He's going to enjoy having a grandson, too.

Darling photo of President Clinton and his granddaughter, Charlotte.

    I voted for him too!

The Republicans should be thanking Bill for the surplus he left; they wouldn’t have been able to waste all our taxpayer money on their wars without him.

O/T Great refresher on why we don’t want Newt as V.P. and why Trump has poor judgment.

Trump plans on spending the first night of the convention on Bill’s infidelity, the Democrats could spend the week on Trump’s and Newt’s.

And she's not dressed in camouflage and she's not being posed with a gun! Saints preserve us. A sweet little girl with her grandfather. Just wait until Fox News condemns them both.
PS And we were told that Chelsea's first pregnancy was planned by Hillary Clinton. Once the baby was born, I for one only saw one photo, mostly obscured by her newborn baby blanket. And now she's a big sister.

Planned by Hillary? Now that's funny!
      Crazy what people believe, Beaglemom.

    2. Not just a pregnancy "planned by Hillary," I have read, but Chelsea's daughter allegedly was named Charlotte--saith the wingnuts--in order to pander to voters in the purple state of North Carolina. Can you believe it?!?

      Crazy, man, crazy!

O/T: Why isn't $ara scheduled to 'speak' at the GOP convention? Or Pence? Neither is listed on the lineup I read posted over at Crooks&Liars.

If that bitch is Trump's VP choice, don't worry anymore, folks, about a Trump presidency being a reality. We can all breathe a sigh of relief.
Looks like "Done-ald" got a daughter and 2 wives to agree to speak on his behalf. Poor Melania still can't speak proper English and how long has she lived here?

Don Juan married her for looks and breeding.. Named the kid Barron after Hilton.. What a fucked up name one would expect from the Palins. Can't remember where the kid was concieved.. name them after the place the screwing occurred.

She is adorable! And what a great family. Can you imagine visiting Grandma in the Oval Office? Bill looks healthier in that pix too. I think keeping him off the trail for a while is a good idea..he is SO passionate that it isn't good for him!!
And how wonderful that this little girl will actually celebrate her birthday on the day she was actually born, unlike some other children we are acquainted with. And she will grow up without an arsenal in the house, so she will actually grow up surrounded by books and people who love her enough to ensure she is educated. Bet she won't be used as a prop or have an IPAD as a babysitter either.

And the world mostly has no idea what she even looks like! This is the first photograph that I recall seeing that shows her face, and with that cap on she could pretty much be any toddler.
Bristol, are you out there? Are you listening? This is how you raise a child -- focusing on their needs as opposed to your interests in using them as props to further your own financial/political interests. Especially if your kids came into the world with "baggage" like uncertain paternity, if there is an ounce of decency in your soul, STOP USING THEM AS PROPS. Stop plastering their photos all over social media; stop looking at them as potential 5- or 6-figure paydays. They're your f_cking children. Do you care about them or do you care about your own f_cking ambitions? It's time to choose, sweetcakes.

It's pretty obvious that she has already chosen to go for fame and $$ instead of caring properly for her children.

Hey Bristol, it's never too late to change. Now is a great time! Do you want your kids to hate you the way you hate your mother?

  9. This liberal's anger at him was only because if you're going to cheat on a Hillary, you don't compound the insult by choosing so downmarket. It was as though he picked up the first willing gum-snapper in the nearest bowling alley.

Yet even that, his highest profile mistake, one that did not leave any Americans dead on foreign soil for a lie of a war, did not undermine perception of Bill Clinton as an ideal leader. He bowed out leaving us convinced that he worked as hard as he could for the betterment of America. It's an impression that lingers, and why he stays beloved.

The memory of Obama, far cleaner, is destined to be all the more flatteringly permanent.

    1. I read Susan McDougal's book (remember her in chains?). Sadly, Bill has always had down-market tastes on the side. He came out of those woods. Let's hope he can keep it in check.

Just remember, according to the GOP platform next week, SEX (specifically the one from LGBT people!) is more deadly than GUNS! So, of course they were more upset with Bill's sex scandal. (Doesn't matter that THEY are the ones more likely to engage in 'deviant' sex (according to their rules) than the Dems.

"It was as though he picked up the first willing gum-snapper in the nearest bowling alley."

Hahaha.... you think Monica was his only bang? Clinton likely had 4 others going at the same time as Monica. He is still well known for his side girlfriends today, it really is no secret.

He came out of those woods Darlene? Yeah really not so much.

Not bashing Bill, I like the guy. But I don't have to pretend or lie for him.

Of course you've seen the sex tapes so you know he had hundreds of girlfriends.

Very little is "well known". Ask Newt Gingrich.

So it is ok that Cheney and Bush destroyed 22 million emails and Rove 7 million of the
White House emails? Again, Bush, Jeb Bush, Rice, Powell, all used private emails and Jeb a private server and if you listen to
Rep. Lieu's questions you have to accept that the committee interrogating Hillary don't know a damned thing about the situation and were less than ill-informed and unprepared to participate in any hearings.
Can someone verify that if Comey had indicted Hillary for her private emails they would have to go back and rake Bush, Cheney and Rove over their missteps? Comey was a Republican appointment and refused to nick Cheney and Bush for waterboarding and torture.

If someone can show a different angle on this situation please do so. My take is that the RW needs to shut up because Comey just covered their ass for past transgressions by leaving Hillary alone though he dealt a seething rebuke to her.

I don't care where Bill parked it, they had the Starr Report, his impeachment WILL be fodder for the GOP, but no one can deny the strength of their marriage, how much better he left our economy and standing in the world, only to have Gore's win stolen, given to GWB, who caused the mess President Obama and future President Hillary will have to continue to clean up. I think when one faces their own mortality, it changes a person. That heart surgery and his attention to health since then show that.
    Great photo, Gryphen!

Oh so now even after Obama, the blame game can skip a whole two presidencies, and still Blame Bush? How convenient. Maybe we should skip one more presidency and ask Bill why he never took out Osama when he had opportunities? That certainly could have prevented a whole lot of problems no?
