That time when Mike Pence, now Donald Trump's running mate, essentially accused President Obama of being anti-American and then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton put him in his place.

Oh yeah, Hillary is going to eat Trump and his VP choice for breakfast.

The idea of Donald Trump or that assclown Mike Pence as leader of the free world is something that should send chills down the back of any decent human being. I've never had high opinions of stalwart conservative politicians and it is disappointing (at best) to know that Trump/Pence is the best that the GOP can offer. Hillary beats Trump by leaps and bounds in every parameter that I can think of by which to judge the candidates.

There is a simple explanation why Pence was chosen.

Pence is the conduit for Koch money.

The RNC is hurting. A lot of their money is running away. Meanwhile the Kochs are angry they were on the outside of this election. With Pence now they are as in as they can get. Their money basically buys their way. They have bought themselves the White House if Trump wins. The GOP sold the White House for 30 pieces of silver, or rather money for their convention and campaign. The Kochs will pony up now that Pence is on the ticket.

      Simple.

Sometimes a horse is just a horse.

    2. @12:24, I agree with you. I know the pundits are saying Pence captures the evangelical vote, which he probably does, but I think that's more of a perk than the reason he was chosen. There's also the fact that he carries less negative baggage than Newt or Christie. And, despite what Trump says, there weren't many politicians out there wanting this hoooge opportunity to serve at the pleasure of such a wonderful, just wonderful genius with a very, very, hooooge smart brain.

Yea, Pence is one of Koch's boys who is in the mist of losing reelection as Indiana's governor. So, he says why not.

If I were Trump, and thankfully, I'm not, I'd be careful. Maybe hire a food tester. They could remake the FDA's cabinet position into the Food Tester position. Easy job. The new FT cabinet position would be ideal for old Sarah. I'm sure the chef can clean out a cabinet down in the WH kitchen. In her little office she can throw cans at the fridge when in the mood.

Seriously though, Pence creeps me out. He's a true blue teabagging SOB. The laws passed under his reign are fucking scary.

I watched him and Trump on 60 Minutes. Damn, Trump wouldn't let him answer a question. Kept butting in. Pence sat there smiling enchantingly.

I kept watching him gaze at Trump with that little smile.

Pence reminded me of a glowing, but abused bride.

Yea, Hillary made mince meat of Pence in that video. I hope she chooses Warren as her running mate. Elizabeth will chew him up and spit him out at the debates.

Speaking of debates, I heard some rumblings a couple weeks ago that Trump might not participate in any debates. Has anyone else heard this? I can't remember exactly who or when I heard this. It had to be on MSNBC, because I refuse to watch Fox or CNN. I don't think it was a late night comedian.

So you go to Hillary's web site, and there is page after page of buttons, tees, water bottles, stickers, car magnets..all reasonably priced and ready to ship. Try to find Trump site, and all you get are donation sites. The man may think he's 'successful, hugely successful" but he has'n't a clue about merchandising. And obviously, he can't hire people who know any more...We already have seen how spectacularly he failed at even introducing his running mate. The man is a fraud. I hope the "Bow Down to Almighty Donald" show this week, and the ensuing professionalism of the DNC after, will show people who haven't tuned into this mess yet just what they might be forcing on the US if they think for one second about voting GOP. These people are sewer rats. They care nothing about the people of this country.

As usual ... Mrs. Clinton hands her attackers their asses on a silver plate! Go Hillary! All the way to the White House!
BTW, can you for just second ... imagine Sarah Palin being questioned like that and having to respond to a hostile (obviously) committee? With poise, facts and articulate answers? Naw.... me neither!

I so admire a woman who can speak her mind and Hillary Clinton does it so well. She is articulate, to the point, clearly far more intelligent than someone like Mike Pence (who certainly would be insomnia inducing). I doubt if Trump will want to debate her especially if normal debate rules apply.

Beagle mom, I imagine Trump will debate as Palin did refusing to answer questions. The support base loves a verbal beat down to destroy the competition. Debating issues with facts, principals and rationale toward solutions is not a Trump candidacy goal.

Trump supporters will rely upon their fake news sources to "explain" sound bites from debates. They don't have - and never have had - the attention span to sit through & comprehend a Presidential debate beyond the scope of making it a drinking game.

Trump debate Hillary, he doesn’t debate, he throws bumper sticker slogans and insults.

They are either going to have to put him on Xanax or have him phone it in.

Hillary is one tough, cool cookie with 25 years experience of dealing with insults and lies. Little Donnie won’t know what hit him.

I hope she manages to rile him up to the point he loses it and tells her to shut up or calls her a bitch or worse on national television.

    5. Doubt he will debate Hillary. Is there a law that says he has to? He will throw a fit and refuse and the toadie sold-out networks will concede to his demands. Without network coverage, where would a debate stand?

After going through three kids getting married, you don't invite anyone unless they're friends and you genuinely respect them as good people.
So why did Trump invite the Clintons to his mail order czech bride wedding and kept the photo to cherish it in his older days after he divorces Melania for a newer model???

Elizabeth Warren Goes Off And Takes a Flamethrower to Donald Trump’s Lies

After Donald Trump indulged himself in another racist rant against Senator Elizabeth Warren, she took a flamethrower to his lies with a binge of tweets that are quite simply devastating for Trump.

      Strap in and read on:

Nasty name-calling & lies about my family aren’t going to shut me up, @realDonaldTrump. Is that really all you’ve got?
      — Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) July 17, 2016

Warren then proceeded to tweet actual scandals of Trump’s:.....

  15. But but but ... Hillary is weak. And she created ISIS. Trump said so in an interview that will be shown in its entirety tonight (on CBS I think).

He said he is strong and Obama is weak, Hillary is weak, and she created ISIS because Obama had no clue and was just listening to her. That last bit is paraphrased but the first part is verbatim.

It was funny how after talking about himself for twenty five minutes or so, Trump introduced Pence. Then they said Trump just left the arena. Didn't stay to rally for his VP pick. Kinda makes you wonder if the RNC shoved this guy down Donald's throat. Hee hee. Suck it up Donald. RNC about to tame your unruly ass on how to be a less blatent about all your prejudices. And RNC suck it up when your' little once upon a time blond boy gets out of hand time and again. Maybe even to start wars, and other atrocities. Which by the way we know the RNC loves because it makes money for the NRA world wide. Like Cheney, the Republicans all have shares here and there in things that go bang, crash, and boom.
