Yeah really need to get this down before the GOP convention.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Republican National Convention staffers are scrambling to remove signs labeling a bank of elevators as “white elevators,” the Wall Street Journal’s Byron Tau reports.

Tau is in Cleveland, along with many reporters, gearing up for the Convention. The signs, meanwhile, are being frantically replaced.

“I’m told it’s being replaced for obvious reasons,” Tau tweeted.

According to the New York Daily News, the signs were spotted in Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena. It’s unclear how or why the signs were posted.

You can't even make this stuff up folks.

Elect Donald Trump and you won't have to take down signs like this ever again. He wants take America Back in more ways than one.

I think there were also "BLUE" and "RED" elevators, but why someone thought that was a grand idea is, well, Republican. Did you see the photo of Paul Ryan and his 'interns?" There must be 100 young people, and f you get out a magnifying glass, there is ONE who may be black or Indian. The rest are all white, mostly male. But hey, they are the party of inclusion, right?

    1. Just like the TP logo rollout, there aren't enough pros on the job. Glad you knew the story. As for only one person with any pigment in their skin, that's always the way with Repubs, unless they purposely come up with a few. Remember -- "My black?"

If you check the demographics of Capitol Hill interns you'll find that they are mostly white and from privileged backgrounds. Who else can afford to go to live in DC and work for free?

Not that it's right, but that's the way it is.

That was my thought. They color coded them for crowd control.

They should have gone with Stars and Stripes and if a third was needed Eagle or something.

Poorly thought out, just like Trump's first T&P logo.

Trump loves the uneducated and it shows.

I think that they should leave it up. Are the Republicanos afraid people will suspect they're a group of racists?

  6. I'm sure it was some silly idea that visitors could figure out where to go by looking for the red, white, or blue signed elevators.

Once again, the GOP's cheap and easy faux patriotism, consisting of nothing more than lapel pins and waving a lot of red, white, and blue around, lets them down.

    Also, they're idiots.

I don't know why they are taking it down. Aren't they the ones always whining about political correctness?

'The Art of the Deal.’=“The Sociopath.” or called “Advertisements for Myself.”

Trump appeared to have convinced himself that he had written the book. Schwartz recalls

thinking, “If he could lie about that on Day One—when it was so easily refuted—he is likely to lie about anything.”

"“I put lipstick on a pig,” " a thick Russian novel in a dummy cover that featured a photograph of Trump looking like a conquering hero; at the top was Trump’s name, in large gold block lettering. Kaminsky recalls that Trump was pleased by the mockup, but had one suggestion: “Please make my name much bigger.”
“Trump only takes two positions. Either you’re a scummy loser, liar, whatever, or you’re the greatest. “If I were you,” Schwartz recalls telling him, “I’d write a book called ‘The Art of the Deal.’ That’s something people would be interested in.”
“He has no attention span.”it’s impossible to keep him focussed on any topic, other than his own self-aggrandizement, for more than a few minutes,
Writing in Trump’s voice, he explained to the reader, “I play to people’s fantasies. . . . People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthful hyperbole. “He’s a living black hole!”
“The Art of the Deal,” and he told me that it might be best characterized as a “nonfiction work of fiction.”
Trump once declared, “The working man likes me because he knows I didn’t inherit what I’ve built,” and that in “The Art of the Deal” he derides wealthy heirs as members of “the Lucky Sperm Club.”DadFred>"7.5lent Trump seven and a half million dollars to get started as a casino owner in Atlantic City; FAILED
planning to erect “the tallest building in the world,” So he could have the BIGGEST DICK.
a net-worth statement from 1990 that assessed Trump’s personal wealth. It showed that Trump owed nearly 300>three hundred million dollars more to his creditors than his assets were worth. The next year, his company was forced into bankruptcy—the first of 6-6-6 six such instances. Fuck that Lipsticked little dick PIG.

    1. "Innocently" (hah!) name elevator banks Red, White and Blue, make banners
    2. "Realize" that the White Elevator banner isn't appropriate because "some people" won't get that it's "just innocent" and want to link it to something bad that happened way in the misty past, but that's completely "over" now.
    3. Remove the White Elevator banner while rolling eyes and stating that "some people" are just way too sensitive and can't get over things.
    4. Blame "those people" for the racial divide in the US.
    5. Go to the back room and laugh about how you got the libruls all "wee wee'd" up and it's not your fault that the national colors aren't white, black and brown. Lament the days when you could have your little plausible deniability-powered private joke without someone calling you out.

Sarah Palin is NOT going to speak at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland this week because "Alaska is too far away from Ohio."

...so she's flying to Arizona instead.

OANN is the One America News Network

      http://www.oann.com/

Conservative site. Think Brietbart and Faux News.

Alexa says it ranks 19,733 in US websites so it must get a lot of hits.

Site viewers are mostly college educated male who read it at work.

Roughly half of the people who got to the site by way of Google were doing what I did. Google-ing up some version of OANN, One America News, One America News Network, to find out what it means.

Most visitors bounce off the site. Average time onsite is 3:44. That means a quick scan and maybe read part of an article or two.

In comparison, Gryphen's readers stay here an average of 9:17.

Memo to the GOP: Don't worry about those White Elevator signs. There won't be that many black people at your convention anyway.
