Apparently some conservatives have decided that the only way to help Donald Trump is to spread fake documents on twitter. Seems like a reasonable strategy for them.

Oh my God, can you believe that PPP would do such a thing?

No?

Well good for you, because they wouldn't.

In fact they have already called bullshit on this "memo."
Though apparently that has done nothing to stop desperate conservatives from clinging to it like one of the Titanic's tragically sparse life rafts.
So sad.

I think the originators of this may be too clever by half.

From the time I took statistics in college mid-70s, I learned how polls are skewed and not to pay attention. Couple that with a call I got from the LA Times years ago, on my unlisted number no less, asking me "if you were voting today, who would you vote for?" My none-of-the-above answer was not good enough. "You HAVE to answer A or B," and they were promptly hung up on.

I'm not sure what statistics course you took. Polls can be very useful. Most candidates won't do without them. They can win races. The trick is to know what you are polling, and how to read the answers. Saying that reports of polls are often misleading is probably true. Saying that many people/journalist don't know how read and interpret polls is probably true. The problem isn't the poll. the problem is interpretation of the polls based on sound understanding of statistics and polling.

If polling was so irrelevant Why do candidates rely on them. Why is Nate Silver so successfull in predicting elections. The answer is because they know how to read, and interpret poll numbers as to what they are, and are not saying.

I bet Trump is going to somehow allow illegal workers to stay. I heard a congressman from NY speaking to CNN or MSNBC about two weeks ago saying the rural farms in NY need these workers. He said he'd like to see something like workers to go through one door of a building, register and go out another door back to work.

As Trump continues to bleat that he doesn't trust data and won't use it.

      He only distrusts unfavorable data.

If it shows he's winning, he'll have it framed for his office.

  5. yeah well, if he has intentions on stealing the election by hacking voter machines or the election servers then this kinda of stuff helps to make his winning look legit....makes me a little worried as our voting machines are very susceptible to hacking even when not connected to the internet....not so worried about the election servers because anonymous has our back on them like they did when romney tried to steal the election in 2014

don lacy......have you been following the case of Beth Clarkson, a Wichita State University statistician who found so many irregularities in the Kansas Governors election results? Google her name and read her case. She has taken it to court in Kansas, and she has a very good case with solid evidence that our electronic voting machines have been manipulated. Lots of academics are following her lawsuit against Kobach in Kansas. And other statisticians have looked at their own state's results and found statistical impossibilities, similar to the ones she found. It's a case to watch.

Just as with Dr. Brakish Okun's letter stating that Trump would be the healthiest president ever, the data goes so far over the top, it looks preposterous.
It will be lapped up and then spewed all over by the fools who love Trump. Any good news has to be true, right?

Haven't you confused a fictional character from Independence Day, played by Brent Spiner, with Donald Trumps actual doctor?

It's satire and a commentary on Trump's Doctor.

Someone has already asked if Trump's Doctor was the inspiration for Bret Spiner's character in Independence Day.

So the doofus now has a meme nickname.

I also expect Trump to explain to people that he can't round up 11 million people, and that the wall cannot be built, only reinforced or maybe he'll hold off on the wall impossiblity and deal with that blow if he wins. He'll find someway to blame all the things he can't do on congress.

Stop watching MSNBC and CNN! MSNBC use to be my daily, but no more. They are both so pro Trump and anti Hillary Clinton that they've become appalling!

Vote for Hillary Clinton - know I am without one doubt at doing so!

Earthlings must face the fact the we are 7 billion plus. Our resources are going to dwindle. Pretty soon we will be fed soylent green and not even think twice of it. Already, only a couple companies make and distribute our food supply. Our country has to get savvy on how to stay healthy, and productive. People like Trump have outsourced and gotten rich, and called everyone else crooks. It's the old way of doing things. He and his will be rich, and the people he literally called dumb (Republicans) are blindly hearing what they think he is saying, and he is given the luxury to flip flop like a dying fish on the beach. We need solutions to complex problems and I just don't see a man who is bankrupt both financially and morally to be the one to solve it all on his little ole lonesome. For his followers to believe shows that America has inbreeded too long in some areas of our country.

Something wrong with the stats on Carmen Cammarata @carmencammarata2. There are 53.4K tweets to 1,054 followers. Carmen follows 106 Twitter accounts and has 50.5K likes. Double-down Donnie is not above this. Suspect there is no Carmen Cammarata, maybe an algorithm that retweets tweets on Trump.

  11. Too bad PPP cannot say this is some sort of stolen work product since it is labeled as an internal document not for release, and that would be something Twitter would remove and ban the idiot who posted it

  12. Really? She fell on her face while out 'rock running' and didn't wash the blood off, just went home & took a photo in front of her fireplace and flag. And then went to the ER for medical help. Right.

  14. anonymous....while i haven't been following tha case closely, i am aware of it & that's why i said what i said. she may win the case, but what changes to voting machines after that is anybody guess, plus there is the time factor. voting machines have been a problems for years and republicans have fought tooth & nail to keep from anything being done about it.
