Hillary Clinton's poll numbers continue to rise in head to head match ups with Donald Trump.

Courtesy of Fox News:

Sixty-one percent of voters think Hillary Clinton is dishonest, yet she’s opened up a big lead over Donald Trump in the latest Fox News Poll.

Here’s why: majorities think Clinton is nevertheless qualified to be president, and has the temperament and knowledge to serve effectively. It’s the opposite for Trump: over half feel he is not qualified, and lacks the temperament or knowledge to lead the country. And his 62 percent dishonesty rating tops hers.

Fox cannot even report good news for Clinton without attacking her first.

Of course what Fox will not admit is that much of those low opinion numbers are the result of nonstop attacks from Fox News and right wing news sites against Hillary for the last thirty plus years.

Still it hardly matters as Hillary's numbers continue to rise across the board.
In fact things are now so bad that the Republicans are planning some kind of "intervention" to straighten Donald Trump out and get him back on message.

I wonder when it will dawn on these idiots that they are wasting their time?

Because even if they were somehow to repackage Trump into something palatable to the American people he is still an unhinged megalomaniac with thin skin who will likely involve this country in one devastating foreign relations disaster after another if elected.

When does patriotism override party loyalty and convince these idiots to let Trump be Trump until he has lost the election and destroyed the last vestiges of his brand so that they can have their party back?

I really hope that you write a post about Katrina Pierson (Trump spokewoman and former Pain endorsee). You will make it funnier than I ever could!

If I remember correctly, she tried to blame Obama for the death of the Khan's son, which occurred in 2004, no less!

      Take this poll:

Which female Trump supporter on CNN is the worst?

      1. Katrina "the hurricane" Pierson
      2. Scottie Nell Hughes
      3. Kayleigh McEnany

When they are on CNN there needs to be a banner that says: (R) Psycho Bitch from Hell under their names.

11:21, you've said it. She's such a freak. After this election, hopefully she'll disappear for a while. She's always, always on CNN (and she made it on to MSNBC the other day). It kills me how Trump keeps blasting CNN when CNN has so many Trump surrogates sitting on their set all the time.

I think that is part of his strategy. If he tells us they are lousy, we aren't suppose to notice that they are bias for him.

If Trump continues to act the juvenile bullying ass he is, maybe these poll numbers will continue to rise.

  3. His political career, at least for this election is done (barring some sort of spectacular October surprise). They shouldn't even waste their time.

His business partners are the ones who should be holding the intervention. The Trump brand was never worth $4 Billion, but 2/3 of America will be viewing the brand as unfavorable after the election. This means his biggest asset has lost 66% of its value as a result of running for office. I would argue a person with their own "brand" like Trump should never run for office, because after the election 1/2 of the public will never go near that brand again after the election.

After November he should try to stay out of the headlines, never tweet and maybe at mostly do a self-effacing appearance on SNL. Be might win back some people that way. Of course we know he's not wired to ever do that.

From the day he began this idiotic run for POTUS I've been looking forward to watching him deal with the post-election debris that will be his life and business.

Just how much damage can the Palin Curse do?

I caught part of something on TV the other day, a clip from some years back when a reporter was talking to him about running for office and the reporter assumed it'd be for something that most newbies do run for--but Trump interrupted the guy and said it would be for president if he ever ran for office. So, hopefully he'll not change his mind after November and set his sights lower.

I've purchased 2 pairs of shoes from Ivanka's footwear line a few years ago. I think they are stylish and comfortable. However I will NEVER buy another pair. No Trump will get another cent from me. I refuse to support any organization whose values don't align with my own, so will never patronize Chick-Fil-A or Dominoes Pizza (let's face it - no sacrifices there).

If he were self-aware enough to heed an "intervention" he wouldn't need one in the first place.

He's just an egotistical bully, a sociopath. Whatever he wants is the only thing that counts and he'll do/say/act any way he needs to in order to get to that goal.

I keep wondering what happens after the debates !!! Trump will be (or should be) knocked out for the count (and Pence too). Will Trump back out and not have them? Hilary should go ahead and have a town hall then - address policy (in a short way so folks don't fall asleep) and make her case against Trump in a presidential way - unlike Trump who just calls names and "hears stuff"

Don't forget, Pence said he is "Christian, conservative and republican, in that order".

Note that he left out "American".

OK, I'm gonna admit that I am worried today.

I fear that Trump is going to drop out of the race next week and Paul Ryan is going to replace him.

Paul Manafort said this on CBS This Morning. He "slipped" and said he would be supporting Paul Ryan for PRESIDENT next week. Yikes.

I don't put anything past the Koch Brothers and the Republicans. They are all slime. Koch says they are staying out of this Presidential election.....no way. I call BS... They are up to something....maybe paying off Donald's debts in exchange for getting out of the race.

    3. Perhaps the intervention was to tell Trump the GOP would hack his tax returns and reveal he was bankrupt -- to make him look small
      . His Achilles heel.

    4. @ 1:18 Yes! they have a money and power lust to do just that; Paul Ryan is the perfect cipher. Bad for Hillary as he will convince non-Trump supporters to return to the fold. And the Trumpsters just want to hang Hillary, so they will vote for Ryan as well. I have always wanted Trump to stay the course...however risky that would be, that risk falling every day with every stupid Tweet and remark.

That would be a disaster, the Democrats need to shut up and stay out of it.

We don't need to give the GOP any ideas, let them reap what they sowed with Trump.

The bar for getting kicked out of a Trump rally continues to be lowered by the day. After the Republican nominee had tossed a crying baby out of his rally, Trump followed up his bad behavior by kicking out someone who urged him to release his tax returns.

Donald Trump is giving voters a preview of what they should expect if he wins the White House. Questioning of Trump will not be tolerated. Making requests of Trump that he does not agree with will be grounds for immediate dismissal from the presence of Donald Trump.

Trump doesn’t believe in free speech, or open discussion, and under no circumstances is anyone allowed to mention his tax returns.

America works for Trump. Donald J. Trump will never serve America.

Harvard GOP Won't Endorse Party Nominee Trump For First Time In History

For the first time in its 128-year history, the Harvard Republican Club said it will not endorse the party's nominee, calling Donald Trump's views "absurdly cruel"

In every presidential election since 1888, the members and Executive Board of the Harvard Republican Club have gathered to discuss, debate, and eventually endorse the standard-bearer of our party. But for the first time in 128 years, we, the oldest College Republicans chapter in the nation, will not be endorsing the Republican nominee.

Donald Trump holds views that are antithetical to our values not only as Republicans, but as Americans. The rhetoric he espouses –from racist slander to misogynistic taunts– is not consistent with our conservative principles, and his repeated mocking of the disabled and belittling of the sacrifices made by prisoners of war, Gold Star families, and Purple Heart recipients is not only bad politics, but absurdly cruel.

Wow. So that is the first college Republican club to go public dissing Trump. I wonder how many other universities across the country will follow suit? Plus, gee, all those alumni. Wonder how many of them will not step back and either fail to vote or vote for Hillary.

Yeah, Trump is destroying the Republican Party and he simply doesn't give a shit. (And no, I don't think this was some sort of secret subversive plan. He is, quite simply, too stupid to plan and carry out such a plan.)

Awwww, Sean boy is having a meltdown...

Conservative talk radio host Sean Hannity is fed up with the Republican leadership criticizing Donald Trump and said he plans to blame the GOP establishment if the party’s nominee loses on Election Day.

On his Wednesday radio show, Hannity named and shamed House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), along with former primary candidates Jeb Bush, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), as the parties he’ll blame if Trump loses to Hillary Clinton, but called the election “completely winnable.”

“I have watched these Republicans be more harsh towards Donald Trump than they’ve ever been in standing up to Barack Obama and his radical agenda,” he said. “They did nothing, nothing – all these phony votes to repeal and replace ObamaCare, show votes so they can go back and keep their power and get reelected.”

"Sorry, you created Donald Trump, all of you because of your ineffectiveness, because of your weakness, your spinelessness, your lack of vision, your inability to fight Obama,” Hannity continued. “I’m getting a little sick and tired of all of you. Honestly, I am tempted to just say I don’t support any of you people ever.”

Ask Hannity to enumerate exactly what Obama's "radical agenda" is and you will get the usual RW talking points nonsense dished out by the RW oligarchs to the RW knuckle draggers. They pay this college dropout handsomely to be a 1%er propagandist. The idiotic knuckle draggers think they are getting the news while mop head luxuriates in his mansion(s).

They can certainly attempt an intervention but it will do no good.

In addict terms, if he's not ready to recognize the problem and change, it's useless.

Trump sees nothing wrong in himself or anything he's done. As far as he's concerned he is YUUUUGEly successful because, well, look at the news? They talk about him all the time, every day. He has no desire to change what he considers is a successful formula.

Plus, he can't change. He simply can't. He tried and he couldn't maintain it for 24 hours. The man has no ability to reflect on himself. And he's so shallow I doubt he'd find anything there.

So nope. They can certainly hold an intervention but Trump will continue as he has for the next 90 days. What you see is all that there is.

A local psychiatric nurse made the case in a Letter to the Editor in my city's newspaper that in addition to narcissism, Trump is exhibiting signs of early dementia. She gave examples of Trump's past & current speeches/behaviours to back up her assertion--"Over the past year, the GOP candidate has exhibited increasing mood, behavior and cognitive deterioration. His evident difficulty forming and expressing complex thoughts, childish lack of inhibition, inability to learn and retain new information, poor judgment, bizarre but stubbornly held ideas (the “wall,” deporting millions), all have been exhaustively reported and witnessed in real time. These are symptoms often seen in an early stage of dementia."

Hopefully there are more sensible people out there to vote him out and his fans are outnumbered. It's been a nervewracking year taking this crazy train with Donald. Geez!!!!
