More bad news for Chris Christie.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

WNYC reporter Matt Katz points out that newly filed court documents show that Christie aide Christina Genovese Renna was sending text messages to Christie attorney Mark Sheridan during a 2013 press conference on the “Bridgegate” controversy.

In a particularly damning set of exchanges, Renna tells Sheridan that their boss completely lied to the media while answering a question about whether his campaign manager Bill Stepien had any knowledge of the George Washington Bridge lane closures that Christie aides coordinated to punish the Democratic mayor of Fort Lee for not endorsing their boss during his 2013 reelection bid.

“Are you listening? He just flat out lied about senior staff and Stepien not being involved,” she said, referring to Christie’s campaign manager Bill Stepien.

Renna then goes on to openly worry about what happens if the e-mails get subpoenaed.

Yeah, that would be terrible wouldn't it?

I have to admit that I almost forgot all about Bridge-gate after watching Christie degrading himself in order to ingratiate himself with Donald Trump.

Oh God, what have I done?
Let's face it, after the last five or six months that Christie has had he might actually be looking forward to some quiet time in prison.

It takes a guy as fat as Christie to make a guy as fat as Donnie look slim by comparison.

Gryphen you almost forgot about Bridgegate, I actually forgot about Chris Christie.

Is Christie still part of the Trump campaign?

Did Christie distance himself from Trump because Trump is self exploding?

Where is Christie? He is a big man, there really is no place for him to hide behind.

He's a surrogate and advisor. I'm sure he's counting on some sort of appointment if Trump is elected. If Trump wasn't a stepping stone he would never have endorsed him.

The question now is....how long he'll continue to support him when it's so obvious Trump is going to lose.

Wouldn't be surprised if he started to distance himself now using the excuse of Bridgegate.

Send him to a prison that has a softball team. I can not get enough of seeing him in that uniform!! The other inmates would laugh their arses off at him.

All this time we thought Christie was sucking up to Trump to snag the Attorney General's post, when in reality it's really a presidential pardon he's looking for.

OT: SARAH PALIN (who?) THE ALASKA KING MAKER

    Sarah Palin the Powerless

Sarah Palin has just learned that she lacks clout in Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District.

The title of a RedState article says it all:

From NBC News: “Paul Ryan easily fended off a challenge in his primary race Tuesday against recent Wisconsin transplant Paul Nehlen, who contested the House Speaker with the same positions and talking points espoused by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.” That story goes on to state, “Nehlen received an early endorsement by rogue Republican Sarah Palin …”

Fox News reports, “Nehlen attracted support from Palin and...

On 05/08/16 CNN reported, “Sarah Palin will work to defeat House Speaker Paul Ryan by backing his primary opponent in Wisconsin, the former Alaska governor told CNN’s Jake Tapper.” ... During her interview with Tapper, Palin declared that Speaker Ryan’s political career was over. So reports, “Nehlen won the backing of some prominent conservative figures, including former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Ryan’s popularity ...

Wall Street Journal reporter Kristina Peterson writes, “Some national GOP figures, including 2008 vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin...

The powerless of Palin was seen during Oklahoma’s 2014 special election to replace U.S. Senator Tom Coburn. Palin endorsed GOP nominee T.W. Shannon, who lost the GOP primary to James Lankford, a member of Congress.

Sarah Palin is feeling the Sarah Palin Curse. Everybody is talking about the King Maker and what she did to Paul Nehlen

    Politicus:
Paul Ryan Crushes Palin-Endorsed Candidate in Wisconsin Primary

... You remember how Palin said “I think Paul Ryan is soon to be ‘Cantored.'” Well, Ryan won the Wisconsin Primary Tuesday by about 70 points....

Sarah Palin tried to suggest that Paul Ryan was somehow in trouble because of the challenge presented by borderline insane Trump-humper extraordinaire Paul Nehlen.”...

It's my sincere hope that we see Christie in orange after the election. And that Trump gets hosed for his Trump U fraud. The RICO case could easily end up costing him 150 mil. And the RICO case in Michigan put Sny der in jail along with them. Oh yeah, and McConnell chokes to death on his own vomit when Obama gets approved to the Supreme Court. I could go on...

No wonder Christie wants Trump elected.

He's going to need a presidential pardon.

Who Sarah Palin endorsed is who she's been endorsing since day one. Right wing nut jobs. That guy was off the wall in his political views. I feel like the reason Sarah and Christie backed Trump is because they were bullies in their position that got taken down by people who know who they are essentially. It seems that those two had a vendetta minded career, just like the Donald. Those kind of people kinda gravitate toward one another. It's no different than the mean girl high school clique.
