My new favorite response to this stupid question.

I have literally never understood this question.

I put it right alongside "Well if there is no God, how would we know right from wrong?"

Makes my fucking head hurt.

Whenever a people have felt lost and alone, fearful and without purpose, in a situation wherein they have no control - they have always invented "a greater force" onto which hope and blame can be levied.

  2. Brilliant quote to start off my day. Dan Barker's youtube videos are also really good, at least the ones we've seen.
    Thanks, Gryph!

    Pretty good response.
In other OT news: Watch the first 19 minutes of The Last Word from last night. Listen to Ben Shapiro's opinion of the new leadership over at the Trump campaign. He used to work at Breitbart and knows all about the "Undefeated" guy. Quite funny.

If the evangelicals, Republicans, Catholic priests, murderers of any religion, and anyone who supports wars knew right from wrong, what a wonderful world this could be.

Perhaps some people require a heavier hand when it come to actions and consiquence. That's where the xtian thing comes in to monitor bad behavior.

If you think about it , there kind of is no such thing as right and wrong. What if the world was scientifically created as a war system. What if we're supposed to kill?

Controversial? Sure. But one cannot legitimately give a response like "murder is wrong" when humans didn't created the planet or people.

This is why I will never judge a soul for anything. That and I see good in all. ALL.

After facing my own mortality in a wildfire entrapment, I know from that experience there was the presence of a higher power. Believe what you want, that's our right.

Why did your God put you in a fire?

Maybe the same reason he flooded the entire planet except for one incestuous family and only 2 of each animal. What did all the animals do to deserve that. Humans, yes.

Who gave you the MIND to decide for yourself on ANY matters? But spirituality being the most important. Anyone who says there is no God JUST because he believes that, is a fool. God WILL, has and will continue to exist WHETHER OR NOT any small minded human states otherwise. What makes you different than any of the christians you always decry and disclaim Gryphen? Your proseletyzing YOUR own beliefs as much as they. The truth is not with you OR those false christians you do rightly criticize. God does not need your opinions or beliefs to exist as the spirit Being he is. Human beings apparently do not appreciate nor take accountability for their GIFT of free will. Whether you post this or not I don't mind. Its just that I get sick of your propagandizing and brainwashing about God and there is no God BS. I want you to know that. Otherwise your writing and humor is superb even though I do NOT agree with your politics either.
