Only a cartoonist could capture a situation quite this perfectly.

And the thing is you know it's true.

You just know it.

The Pope really gave Boehner some excellent advice. If it was somehow divinely inspired, Mr. Boehner may have been a better person than we gave him credit for.

    I disagree...
Ryan is not lying there in a fetal position.
Paul Ryan embraces Trump and all that Trump stands for, mainly, tax-breaks for the wealthiest among us. Ryan's little act of "oh gee, gosh, I don't really agree with everything Trump says" is bullshit.
Paul Ryan is in every way just as bad, as wicked, as much of a predator as Donald Trump.
Ryan just wears his "sheep's clothing" a little better.

You are absolutely right, Randall. That was an excellent point!

I really like the photo of Ryan lifting a weight, hat on backwards looking as though he forgot to put his teeth in. Captures the essence of the man - CLUELESS.

The hiring of Steve Bannon is the equivalent of a hostile takeover of the GOP from within, and Paul Ryan is in shock. I could see this coming from my porch a year ago.

      They brought it on themselves.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch.

Owen Ellickson as the Twitterverse rolling with his mini-screenplays:

RYAN: Think about what you're doing to your brand!
DRUMPF: This IS my brand! Upmarket rhetoric, downmarket quality, wring 'em dry, wander off

Ryan just proved again that he is unfit for any office. He, McConnell and the rest of the republican quislings need to read history and remember when another sociopath took control of his country and the result was 66 million dead. Indecision kills.

Never thought I'd say it, but I'm starting to miss Boehner's crying fits and beer burps. Paul Ryan can['t herd dust bunnies, and he's in charge of the GOP House? They deserve what they got.
