Sarah Palin hailed the resignation of Paul Manafort as Donald Trump's campaign chairman Friday, tossing along some emoji-inspired shade in the direction of Manafort.
"Good for Trump; the WIMPY thing for a boss to do is NOT can someone when it just isn't working out. It's all about accountability," Palin tweeted, subsequently including emojis for the flags of the Russian Federation and the United States.
"It's all about accountability."
Yes and as we know Palin was so into accountability that she quit her job before anybody could hold HER accountable for the things she did while Governor of Alaska.
It looks like somebody is still kissing orange ass in the hopes that even though he stopped returning her calls that somewhere down the line is job for Palin with the Trump cable news company that many people believe is his endgame:
Trump is indeed considering creating his own media business, built on the audience that has supported him thus far in his bid to become the next president of the United States. According to several people briefed on the discussions, the presumptive Republican nominee is examining the opportunity presented by the “audience” currently supporting him. He has also discussed the possibility of launching a “mini-media conglomerate” outside of his existing TV-production business, Trump Productions LLC. He has, according to one of these people, enlisted the consultation of his daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who owns the The New York Observer. Trump’s rationale, according to this person, is that, “win or lose, we are onto something here. We’ve triggered a base of the population that hasn’t had a voice in a long time.”
He'll probably hire Roger Ailes to run it so that Palin can finally get that sexual harassment that she seems to have missed her first time around.
Ailes won't accept the job. One time of being sexually harassed by Sarah Palin was one time too many even for him.
ReplyDeleteBalzafiar, you and Uncle G got my sides splitting, and my stomach turning!
DeleteJesus you guys are funny!
I am glad I read your response with my mouth empty. Otherwise, I would now need a new kayboard!
DeletePalin's name was mentioned in a Daily Banter article about Trump's 49 seconds of "helping" flood victims in Baton Rouge. Trump unloaded packages of Play-Doh from a truck. The article implied that Palin would probably eat the Play-Doh.
ReplyDeleteLet's think about this idea for a moment. First, we need a name. How about Great Unwashed Network, or GUN?
ReplyDeleteWorks for me.
The only name he would consider is TRUMP News.
DeleteI am sickened to think of a a "News" network (far) worse than FOX.
"We’ve triggered a base of the population that hasn’t had a voice in a long time.” -- Trump.
Thank you, Sarah. Gawd help America, if it's not too late.
Whether it's GUN or TRUMP, my prediction is coming true: SP's next (and last) big score will be as an e-televangelist, with her own show. "AAAAH have sinned! Ahhh have SINNED!!" Esp if it turns out that the hoax or any of the other of her sins is on the verge of exposure. She can preempt that AND make it pay if she starts the new network off with a confessional show, but of course she will have to actually confess to some of it. However, with her word salad, this could take awhile.
DeleteNot the most appealing-sounding gig, but with a big $ offer from Trump (which he could stiff her on, he is so experienced with that ploy), an offer too big to refuse now that she is strapped, it all comes together.
The racist old white guys will watch, and she hopes that other demographics will too. I might, or I might catch it in some more concise spin-doctor's column the next day. Or maybe IM will watch and give us a rundown in 10 words or less.
Anyway: sounds like a plan to me.
Sarah would never admit to sinning.
DeleteBut she would be more than willing to tell everyone else they had.
8:43 AM - I am waiting for it myself, because everything she touches turns to crap and I get this sadistic pleasure watching her toss in the wind. The more she tries, the more I laugh because she's such a FAKE.
DeleteI vote QVC. That's more her speed.
yawn. Rah-rah is a rude, late-to-the-party idiot. who cares what she thinks or says? media revenue-generation has become boring. we could turn off our t.v.'s and radios, close our computers, and go play in the sunshine, and nothing would have changed when we got back.
ReplyDeleteIgnore the fool. She's so yesterday.
As for Skroob's News coming; bfd and a half.
She is toast but what she legitimized will never die now.
DeleteI turned off my TV for two days due to the constant Trump coverage and when I tuned back in found I'd not missed a damned thing!
DeleteThink I'll do it more often. I'm sure it's good for the blood pressure too.
Hate the negative pushed about President Obama when he isn't even in the running against Trump!
They assuredly are pushing Trump - no doubt about it.
Vote for Hillary Clinton and bring back sanity after this deplorable election process (Trump spreading lies, racism, and promoting wars and hate!).
Sarah also fully supports Trump's plan to reduce black unemployment by bringing back slavery.
ReplyDeleteI know that I will be called a troll, but it seems to me that you're making light of the problem of secual harassment when you remark about Palin and Ailes.
ReplyDeleteI prefer a good sense of humor myself; only way to get through life!
DeleteGryphen, your commentary made me LOL. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSarah, Trump and their ilk profit from being loved by few, hated by many. They don't care one way or the other as long as the $$ comes in. Tacky, unscrupulous opportunists of the hate they conjure.
We are so thrilled our quitter Governor Sarah Palin quit her job before we fired her.
ReplyDeleteOh come on! It would have been great fun impeaching her (and Todd) for her/their dastardly deeds while in office!
DeleteSquawkerella probably blames Manafort for her not being permitted around the campaign but kept her yap shut in hopes of someday being allowed once more to grift off of the campaign.
ReplyDeleteNow that he's gone, she can suck up to Trump for getting rid of him (and all his terrible ideas, hint, hint, pleeeease, Donny!)
Her disco ball sweater routine and a couple of forgettable appearances elsewhere were her last chance to grab onto some sort of national position so I see her tweet as one last flailing act of desperation, hooping Trump will notice her again.
Persona non grata. FINALLY.
DeleteKept her yap shut? God! That must have been hard. Needle and thread? Hot super glue gun? Duct/duck tape wrapped several times? Nothing seems to work.
DeleteNah, she just didn't continuously wear her atrapon boobies.
DeleteI had NPR on this AM, and they chatted with a woman in a shelter. She was wailing about Obama not being there right after it happened. They couldn't find anyone who knew that the Governor requested NO visits for photo ops'? Or who knew that FEMA is on the ground and helping already, and that funds have been released for the people? Why is the media so quick to belittle everything, and slow to give any credit at all to this wonderful administration?
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Anon at 6:49 am. My husband heard that on the radio too and asked me (?) why President Obama hadn't gone to Louisiana by now. I told him what I had read: the governor did not want visiting officials until the recovery phase had began because too many resources were needed for security that are now being used to help people in need. He also said that President Obama had done everything the state needed to have done and that they had been talking on a daily basis. NPR should have immediately followed the person's complaint with the fact. But facts don't matter in media news anymore. In addition NPR went over to the "darkish" side when Congress started cutting their money years ago.
DeleteBeaglemom
Because it is not bad news and facts are boring.
DeleteO/T kinda. http://www.alternet.org/election-2016/new-book-reveals-trump-actually-sleazier-and-slimier-we-ever-thought
Delete"None of the three U.S. networks have had a word about my book. And they have not had me on the Sunday morning talk shows.
I had a producer for a cable show, who I know and bitched about some of this with, and who said to me, "David, they would never have you on a Sunday morning talk show for the most obvious reason. You should know that."
"I said, "What’s the obvious reason?" She said, "Well, you would talk actual facts and substance. Watch these shows, they’re all superficial nonsense." That’s my word—superficial nonsense. It would show up to audiences—the paucity of this.
"PBS had me on. Everything I said that dealt with Donald and crooks and mobsters, they cut out."
The best Journalist on the Planet is Amy Goodman & Juan Gonzalas of the news program "Democracy Now!" Nothing but facts & the truth, problem is they're not on the radar because of low viewership.
DeleteYes, PBS has changed. I think some of the local groups are still journalists, but overall, the network is no longer objective.
DeleteSallyinMI
Superficial nonsense, indeed! Long gone are the days of investigative journalism.
Delete@7:55AM is spot on. Independent news sources are The Ones to go to. Democracy Now, Thom Hartman, and even the Young Turks. The Kock Bro's are now one of the largest funders of PBS and NPR. Along with a LOT of large dollar trustfunds. Do you think any of those trust holders want anything to change?
DeleteRemember when Terry Gross had scheduled McGinniss for her show, to talk about his book, and they cancelled. Huge disappointment for me, re NPR.
DeleteThom Hartmann works for Pro-Putin propaganda arm Russia Today! No thanks!!!!
DeleteIn Alaska, many journalists refer to our local Public station as: Petroleum Broadcast Service
DeleteIt's because of all the in-depth investigative pieces they produce about Big OIL.
Oh. Never mind.
Even the revered show FRONTLINE out of WGBH in Boston is now under the auspices of a Board of Directors where the KOCH brothers have infiltrated.
No, my friends, PBS is no longer an independent voice for the under-served and under-represented populace.
Glad Sesame Street went to HBO. Can't wait for Big Bird to drop his first FUC*!
What the hell could Obama personally do for this whiny ass bitch? What, she wants him to hand her a bottle of water and a sandwich, personally?
DeleteHis job is to secure emergency funding for the region, which he promptly did.
She just needs to STFU and wait for the feds to come bail her out because she parked her double-wide in a flood plain, again.
These two whiny bitches, rump and palin, need to figure out the president isn't running again. They are so fucking stupid they don't even know who they're running against. They really look like fools.
DeleteSarah the Dolt seems to be unaware that Trump was the idiot that hired Manafort in the first place. Just how does that square with his "reputation" as a sharp business man with good hiring/firing skills?
ReplyDeleteManafort seems to have ACTIVELY been working AGAINST the US for years and Trump's dumb ass followers think that's A-okay.
Sarah Palin and her ilk have got to be the stupidest and most hateful people on the planet to defend Trump at this point.
A cooling relationship with Mr. Trump — who had taken to calling Mr. Manafort “low energy,” the epithet he once used to mock a former rival, Jeb Bush — turned hot last weekend when the candidate erupted, blaming Mr. Manafort for a damaging newspaper article detailing the campaign’s internal travails, according to three people briefed on the episode."
DeleteTrump never developed the sort of chemistry or comfort level with Mr. Manafort that he had with Mr. Lewandowski, campaign aides said. Mr. Trump has continued to seek out the advice of Mr. Lewandowski, who remains a fierce rival of Mr. Manafort." trump LOVES a FIGHT."he relies on his instincts and the counsel of his family." BUT THIS>
"“The easiest way for Trump to sidestep the whole Ukraine story is for Manafort not to be there,” said NEWT gingRICH, the former House speaker who has become a counselor to Mr. Trump." RIGHT?
"The evidence is mounting that Donald Trump isn’t as rich as he claims as an investigation into his business holdings revealed twice as much debt as he reported on his federal disclosure forms." As President, Trump would have the power to make direct decisions that would impact his business. Donald Trump could get very rich off of the decisions made by President Trump."
ReplyDeletehttp://www.politicususa.com/2016/08/20/republicans-reeling-investigation-exposes-trump-foreign-bank-owned-fraud.html
"“Trump says he represents the little guy, but the little guy is going to have to pay his taxes for him here in Ossining.”Trump gets his way then that means he would be cutting his tax burden by 90 percent, dumping the burden on everyone else."aware of the loopholes that currently exist in the complicated environment of tax policy in the United States but this is something entirely different. On one hand, Trump is publicly boasting about how rich he is, and how much his properties are worth, but on the other hand, is trying to say they’re worth just a fraction of that when it comes time to pay Uncle Sam." YOU and ME!
Deletehttp://news.groopspeak.com/breaking-trump-lied-on-candidate-disclosure-form/
tit for tat Donny Brook - if Hillary has to shut down her foundation to be President then you have to shut down your businesses!
DeleteIf a cable channel is his game, good luck with that. any company who advertises on his channel is going to get flooded with complaints. blacks, latinos, women, muslims, immigrants -- that's most consumers in america and he's offended a lot of them.
ReplyDeleteit's hard to think of an industry or company that could buy time on his channel without facing consequences.
Exactly, Anon 7:18! As an African American woman, I would watch/listen to Trump Nooze Network SOLELY to discover who its advertisers are so I can contact my YUUUUGGE network of family and friends! The boycott would be on!
DeleteAs for Manafort, how can these so-called, self-identified "patriots" support Trump who not only idolizes Putin, but continues to have intimate ties to Russia, Putin, and Manafort?
Excellent point. If American banks have now apparently twigged that Trump is a bad credit risk, then sponsors won't buy time on his Trumpet TV show(s) whatever they may be in future.
DeleteI'm on board for writing/complaining to the advertisers, but I sure hope Trump doesn't grasp that until AFTER he starts the thing. I do so want to know what the "AAAAAh have sinned! AAAAH HAVE SINNED!" Palin show will reveal.
DeleteTHEN let this last venture by Trump sink him into oblivion. (Oh, okay, the next act is Trump's meltdown, but let's hope that is the last act.)
He's almost as clueless about running a media empire as he is about running a national campaign.
DeleteOprah Winfrey is knowledgable and shrewd and it took her decades before she launched OWN.
I don't see any legitimate entity loaning Trump money for this venture. So...back to the Russian mobsters?
His channel would be wholly subsidized by ads from Wal-Mart, Payless shoes, ALL the fast foods, pay-day lenders, reverse mortgage companies and those companies that peddle motorized scooters and canes to Medicare recipients, oh, and Life Alert, can't forget that one.
Delete"... the WIMPY thing for a boss to do is NOT can someone when it just isn't working out. It's all about accountability,"
ReplyDelete-Sarah Palin
Is Dr. Jack Me Hoff a wimpy boss who let Bristol takeoff to do DWTS, then DWTS Allstars, then to do Life's A Tripp, then to do Wife Swap, then to do her and her mom's book tours? Then Bristol bought a house and moved to Arizona and then came back and went back to work for Dr. Jack Me Hoff, then Bristol moved to Kentucky and after Duhkota dumped her, Bristol moved back to Wasilla and Dr. Jack Me Hoff hired her again. Not sure Bristol is working now (like most of her family).
Some say the only reason Bristol got that job and was rehired, rehired again, rehired again, etc is because the doctor has some type of relationship with Sarah Palin.
Is Sarah Palin a liar? Did Sarah lie when she said Bristol has great work ethics? Can anyone else in Wasilla or Alaska do what Bristol does and still keep their jobs?
He makes money off of them since they get "all their work" done there. He just lets Bristol pretend to work since she returns her pay, and more, to him for upkeep on the chin and the lipo.
DeleteSeriously doubt Trump would hire Palin. Remember, Ivanka would be involved and we all know she and Palin are NOT a match! Most of us think Ivanka is the majority of the reason Palin was ousted from being considered in the Trump (VP slot) presidential run. (Which he is going to lose anyway!)
ReplyDeleteSarah is dreaming AGAIN, but what else is new? All they have to do is research her record of employment and she truly has none! She was fired at the Channel 2 in Anchorage (slept w/the black basketball player while supposedly covering the "Great Alaska Shootout" (basketball tournament) for them. She quit as gov of Alaska and hasn't held a job since! Oh, she ran in a political race w/John McCain and lost! Thank God!
Sarah is a joke to Alaskans and the country! Quality and knowledgeable woman? Hardly!
Plus, it's know she does not like to work and that she has ethical issues! (Alaska Legislature)
And AGAIN I ask, $arah, why did you fire people of color for no good reason when you assumed the governorship? It wasn't working out for YOUR prejudices?
ReplyDeleteWhere is tRump's responsibility? He hired a known commie and yet the whole GOPEE hasn't said a word.
ReplyDeleteWhat and reveal the true AmeriKKKa? Come on!
DeleteManafort was only there to get the GOP platform changed to be softer on Putin and to ignore NATO allies' needs. His job accomplished, he could be jettisoned easily.
ReplyDeleteAll the shit that came out about him was out there BEFORE the GOP convention... it was just never mentioned so that the above could be shoveled into the steaming pile that is the GOP platform of governance.
Ah, the Tundra Twit twittered. Bless her tiny black heart.
ReplyDeleteTrump was forced to hire Manafort by his Russian creditors. Thre is a new Putin shadow running the show and it's not Bannon
ReplyDeleteThis is just Sarah drooling all over herself because her worshipper Bannon is now advising Trump. She thinks that this Sarah-loving duo will be hiring her with awesome diva jobs.
ReplyDeleteAm expecting that these two egomaniacs, Trump and Bannon, to have conflicts with each other, and soon, Bannon will be under Trump's gold-plaited Vegas bus. None of these people can work together, they all love themselves too much.
I would be surprised if Bannon hired Palin after she attacked the Mercer family last month.
DeleteMELANIA TRUMP EARNED MONEY AS ESCORT
ReplyDeleteEXPLICIT DETAILS REVEALED ABOUT POTENTIAL FIRST LADY
AUGUST 20, 2016
Donald Trump’s third wife and potential First Lady, Melania Trump, is again on the media’s radar. Like her husband, Melania’s career has come a long way, and the recent reports suggest that just after moving to the United States, she used to work as an escort.“
... story claiming that Melania was one of the favorite escorts for wealthy clients in New York...
On the one hand, they [the girls] pretended to be models, but they principally earned money as elite escorts,” the magazine article claimed ...
Melania enjoyed the company of older men and also described her abilities in the bedroom....
http://www.inquisitr.com/3436048/melania-trump-earned-money-as-escort-explicit-details-revealed-about-potential-first-lady/
Melania enjoyed old men. Well that explains why she married Trump.
DeleteNow we know Melania didn't marry Donald for his money.
[Snark]
WAIT ... WAIT FOR IT ...

DEJA VU
In this modern update on Cinderella, a prostitute and a wealthy businessman fall hard for one another, forming an unlikely pair. While on a business trip in L.A., Edward (Richard Gere), who makes a living buying and breaking up companies, picks up a hooker, Vivian (Julia Roberts), on a lark. After Edward hires Vivian to stay with him for the weekend, the two get closer, only to discover there are significant hurdles to overcome as they try to bridge the gap between their very different worlds
None of her old clients have come forward to brag that they had her before Trump?
DeleteThis is a new low, even for the GOP. They are running a man for president whose wife, a woman who could become the first lady, was an “escort”? Let’s get real here. She was a prostitute. I just can’t believe this. NOT.
DeleteA hooker and a thug who's supported by the Russian mob. Hey Sarah...we can smell your desparation. Sucks, donit? Wheres Jill?
DeleteShe's still an escort...just one with an extended contract.
DeleteExcept that Trump didn't fire Manafort. By all accounts, including from the Trump camp, Manafort resigned. As usual Palin lies.
ReplyDeleteThere isn't much I would ever defend Palin for, but surely he resigned before he could be fired. Nobody is ever actually fired in politics.
DeleteEveryone should be watching Morning Joy on MSNBC at 10:00 AM EDT Saturday and Sunday. She does not allow Trump surrogates to get away with their lies and evasions. She cut off a reverend/Trump supporter for "making up facts" about Trump's birtherism. She also decimated a former GOP governor who refused to answer her question about Trump's debt to the Chinese and his lack of presenting his tax returns. It has become "must see TV" for me.
ReplyDelete"... hire Roger Ailes to run it.." No, I imagine Ailes has a non-compete clause from FOX. 'Course he could always be a friend who offers advice..
ReplyDelete"Wimpy" says the spineless hate monger who sits behind her FB page & twitter lobbing insults to one and all. Furthermore maybe dumb fuck Donald & 1/2 witted sarah ought to fucking figure out he's running against Hillary not President Obama. They both are so obsessed with the president they aren't capable of moving on. Perhaps because our president has thrown a little shade at each of the narcissistic morons but for the most part ignored their pathetic existence.
ReplyDeleteSome "Christians," huh.
DeleteNo doubt she is still pissed she wasn’t sexually harassed. And, the chance of that is becoming less possible Have you seen her lately? She is an anorexic mess.
ReplyDeleteHow about the "accountability" of the YAM to VET the people he hires in the first place. Anyone with a phone that can google of do a simple tweet could put Manaforts name in a search and see his Russian/Ukrainian ties. Dealing with the clueless here.
ReplyDeleteSarah's just jealous she failed at starting her own network, and Sarah lecturing someone on accountability is just laughable.
ReplyDelete
