According to Gallup life got better for essentially everybody during the Obama presidency.

Courtesy of the Washington Post:

"The percentages of U.S. whites, blacks, Hispanics and Asians who are thriving have all increased during the Obama era," Gallup notes. The percentage of blacks thriving has risen by about 6 points, as has the percentage of whites and Hispanics. Asian thriving has risen by about 10 points since 2008.

Kind of flies in the face of the Republican talking points that Americans are suffering and the country is going down the toilet now doesn't it?

In fact President Obama has been one of the greatest Presidents in our lifetime and will undoubtedly go down in history as being one of the top ten Presidents of all time.

Count on it.

Can't understand why the ridiculous rhetoric that Trump spews against the President isn't counteracted by those Democratic pundits we see every day on news networks. I know they are there to support Clinton but whenever a Trump surrogate starts with the lies against President Obama the least they could do is to throw a few FACTS in their face.

So infuriating to see all of his accomplishments and good work ignored by the talking heads. It will be a sad day when this wonderful man leaves office.

    1. I've noticed that Joy Reid on MSNBC is one reporter who jumps in & corrects people every time they start saying something outrageous on her show. Love her.

Obama will go down in history as one of the top ten presidents. Youbetcha.

Yesterday a palinista posted in the comments that even $arah$aysPayme has not said a disparaging word about Obama. Wait, What? Yes it happened. I believe Gryphen responded with "wher is the punch line?".

When someone tells me how bad Obama has made things, I ask them who brainwashed them.

  6. For decades I have been disappointed by the inability of the Dems to get their message out. Especially under Pres. Obama, who did and is doing so much to help, yet cannot get a word in edgewise against the hateful morons in the MSM.

Neither the Democratic Party nor President Obama (and now Hillary Clinton) has been given much support in the media. The "liberal bias" of the media is a GOP lie and always has been.

It's just like the report that the Clinton Foundation is one of the nonprofits out there. The media will never report THAT. Horrors!! We can't report anything positive about Clinton, or it would make their surprise at her lead look odd. It is disgusting. Trump's hate speeches are horrifying in 2016, and the media just applauds, has more and more of his 'advisors' (enablers) on air to justify the hate, and America loses a little more of her soul. I thought Cruz would have been awful as a candidate, but at least we know where he stands, and what he stands for. Trump is an entirely different animal. He can morph from Hitler to Satan to your odd uncle in a sentence. It is terrifying. The GOP should be just as terrified as the 5 year old in Seattle asking "Are they coming to get me today?" They built this, and they can shut it down. The question is, how far down this road will they travel with him? Is this really the America they want too?

The old sayng you don't know what you had till it's gone it's going to be a shock to some come January. I'm sure he'll be smiling and laughing on his last day while the many of us are in tears over what we are losing. A steady hand steered the ship when we needed it most.

    This is O/T, but important.
Another GOP with posters of a Democrat with bullet holes in it.

The night Obama was inaugurated, January 20, 2009, some of the top Republicans met in a secret meeting and plotted to take Obama down. Look how that worked out for them! LOL

STOP IT, GRYPHEN!!! STOP IT RIGHT NOW!!!

We all know he's leaving. Do you have to keep reminding us of that inescapable reality? I say let's just pretend he's staying for another coupla terms.

C'mon, everyone! Whistle with me, won't you?

I honestly feel he'll go down in the top five presidents of all time in the history books. He deserves a break, some down time with his family, and I think we'll see him continue his legacy in some way involving kids.
