Ally of Vladimir Putin suggests that not voting for Donald Trump risks nuclear war with Russia.

Source
Courtesy of The Sydney Morning Herald:

Moscow: Americans should vote for Donald Trump as president or risk being dragged into a nuclear war, according to a Russian ultra-nationalist ally of President Vladimir Putin who likes to compare himself to the US Republican candidate.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a flamboyant veteran lawmaker known for his fiery rhetoric, told Reuters Trump is the only person able to de-escalate dangerous tensions between Moscow and Washington.

By contrast, Trump's Democratic rival Hillary Clinton could spark World War Three, said Zhirinovsky, who received a top state award from Putin after his pro-Kremlin Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) came third in Russia's parliamentary election last month.

Many Russians regard Zhirinovsky as a clownish figure who makes outspoken statements to grab attention but he is also widely viewed as a faithful servant of Kremlin policy, sometimes used to float radical opinions to test public reaction.

Well it's certainly a good thing that Russia is not attempting to pick our next President or anything, right?

Every day I wake up thinking that this cannot get any more bizarre, and every day I am proven wrong.

That makes sense. West Texas being close to New Mexico.

Arizona is also drifting blue, possibly due to the Mormons there.

Wouldn't it be awesome if both turned blue for this election? Add Nevada and it's a Western and Southwest sweep.

There is also the possibility that Utah will be purple if Evan McMullin wins there. Doesn't give it to Hillary but it does take it away from Trump.

I had no idea this election would be so entertaining.

Biographers warn Trump is about to get even more racist as his campaign sinks into the dustbin of history

When Trump says he wants to grab p*ssy and grab Iraq’s oil — it’s not a rhetorical coincidence

...But those who feign surprise that Donald Trump would speak of women as if they were six-packs of beer he could grab from the fridge have not been paying attention to Trump’s other rhetoric. A man who regards the territory of other nations as the legitimate spoils of war already has an attitude toward the world that would suggest the mentality of a rapist. And the mentality of a rapist writ large is one who believes in violently seizing land that doesn’t belong to him. The man who thinks that the “missed” solution in Iraq was to “grab the oil” is the same man who talks about grabbing women’s pussies. It’s not a rhetorical coincidence — it’s rape culture.

Donald Trump Declared an “Unprecedented Threat” To Free Press

The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) released a statement Thursday declaring that “a Trump presidency represents a threat to press freedom unknown in modern history.” The statement excoriated the Republican nominee for his “contempt for the role of the press” and for making “his opposition to the media a centerpiece of his campaign.”

Trump would be a DICTATOR, America, IF elected POTUS!

He is a pox on our nation (already!) and the world. No one from around the world wants us to elect him EXCEPT for his buddy, Putin.

IF that doesn't scare the bejesus out of American voters, nothing will!

Trump is candidate that would lead us into nuclear war - he's on tape saying he'd do it!

      Vote for Hillary Clinton!

Trump hasn't made any secret of the fact he would be fine removing the First and Fourth amendments and probably the j19th too since it's going to cost him the election.

His attacks on Freedom of the Press have been so blatant I'm surprised it's taken this long.

BTW, that is one of the big red flags of Fascism.

      Trump isn't a Republican. He's a FASCIST.

      https://www.yahoo.com/news/committee-to-protect-journalists-brands-trump-an-unprecedented-threat-to-press-freedom-150620132.html

"“Since the beginning of his candidacy, Trump has insulted and vilified the press and has made his opposition to the media a centerpiece of his campaign. Trump has routinely labeled the press as ‘dishonest’ and ‘scum’ and singled out individual news organizations and journalists,” she said."

"Trump routinely declares at his rallies that reporters are some of “the worst human beings in the world.” But he took his media criticism a step further on Thursday by asserting that women’s accusations of sexual misconduct were part of a media conspiracy to elect Democrat Hillary Clinton.

For her part, Rowe, a former editor of the Oregonian newspaper, cited various times he publicly demeaned journalists: mocking a New York Times reporter with a disability, calling an ABC News reporter “sleaze” and kicking a Univision anchor out of a press conference for asking an “impertinent” question. She said Trump has refused to condemn attacks against journalists by some of his supporters and has denied press credentials to new outlets that have been critical of his campaign.

She also criticized Trump’s vague proposals to restrict basic freedoms of the press and Internet. For instance, at a February rally he declared that he would “open up our libel laws” so that he could sue anyone who writes “purposely negative and horrible and false articles.” He has also tweeted these sorts of hazy threats."

"“A Trump presidency would represent a threat to press freedom in the United States, but the consequences for the rights of journalists around the world could be far more serious,” Rowe said. “Any failure of the United States to uphold its own standards emboldens dictators and despots to restrict the media in their own countries. This appears to be of no concern to Trump, who indicated that he has no inclination to challenge governments on press freedom and the treatment of journalists.” "

So what is the story about this Howard Stern tape with Donnie and Ivanka? I saw it last night on the Canadian CBC National news. They reported it as Donnie admitting he is a sexual predator.

I don’t have cable, anyone see it here in the US?

Howard Stern stated something like “so you are a sexual predator”. Donnie and Ivanka both laughed and one of them, not sure which one answered: YES !!!

Another question, where is Manafort-donnie's pro Russian guy that was fired, over in the USSR hacking?

Julian Assange's end game? He told us a decade ago:
    https://www.wired.com/2016/10/want-know-julian-assanges-endgame-told-decade-ago/?mbid=social_twitter

"In “Conspiracy as Governance,” which Assange posted to his blog in December 2006, the leader of then-new WikiLeaks describes what he considered to be the most effective way to attack a conspiracy—including, as he puts it, that particular form of conspiracy known as a political party.

'Consider what would happen if one of these parties gave up their mobile phones, fax and email correspondence—let alone the computer systems which manage their [subscribers], donors, budgets, polling, call centres and direct mail campaigns. They would immediately fall into an organisational stupor and lose to the other.'
"And how to induce that “organisational stupor?” Foment the fear that any correspondence could leak at any time."

'The more secretive or unjust an organization is, the more leaks induce fear and paranoia in its leadership and planning coterie. This must result in minimization of efficient internal communications mechanisms (an increase in cognitive ‘secrecy tax’) and consequent system-wide cognitive decline resulting in decreased ability to hold onto power as the environment demands adaptation.'

So if high up Dems are deleting their email, stopping using email, maybe even stopping using of their smartphones, Assange is well on the way to accomplishing what he said he wanted to do 10 years ago.

No, that's a true statement that the emails show there were Clinton Foundation donors looking for a quid pro quo. What's important is that so far nothing's come out that proves they got it.

I think the fear mongering, including the reemergence of yet more conveniently contrived Wikileaks fake stories, is all part of the GOP and Trump's style of electioneering. No mention of policy from Trump or Pence, no solutions - pure fear mongering for the next several weeks. Don't panic, folks, none of this nonsense is true, although I must say that the meddling by Putin's Russia in our election frankly annoys me. No one interferes with Russia's elections but Putin and his buddies, who have all enriched themselves at the cost of their fellow citizens, feel entitled to interfere with our election process. Maybe their purpose is to allow Trump to do to the US what they've done to Russia. What fascinates me most is that the GOP has no problem with it. How times have changed!

      1. No one's presented evidence the russians are behind the hack.
      2. They're not "stories", they're emails.
      3. Don't kid yourself that they're fake. They're probably not. And Clinton pretty much acknowledged they're real on Sundaywhen she answered a question about the content of one of them.

  17. I don't know whether all the e-mails released are accurate - but I know at least two are not.
    1. One e-mail reportedly says that Hillary Clinton called Bernie supporters a 'bucket of losers'. But it was dated 2013- before Bernie was even running!
    2. Trump himself read one from a Russian propaganda source that quoted Sidney Blumenthal saying something negative about Clinton when that actual e-mail was Blumenthal informing Podesta that someone else said it. (The Russian site quickly pulled the false info - wonder how Trump got a copy of it?)
