Donald Trump buys into conspiracy theory that CNN focus group was coached before finding that he lost the debate.

Courtesy of Mediaite:

There’s a new conspiracy going around that a brief bit of unintentionally picked-up audio shows a CNN conspiracy to coach its own focus group, and it didn’t take long for Donald Trump to embrace the conspiracy.

A bunch of conservative websites picked up the snippet, which shows the clip of Hillary Clinton saying “America’s great ’cause we’re good” followed by a CNN reporter repeating the line to the focus group.

Right after that she asks the focus group what about her argument resonated and one woman mentioned that line.

This is the supposed "coaching" that Donald Trump and the wingnuts are saying was caught on tape.

Mediaite goes on to say that it is not at all certain that the audience heard the remarks from Clinton and so the reporter might well have been reiterating what was said, or simply revisiting something the audience member had said while the cameras were off and asking that person to repeat her previous statement.

Of course in Trump world all conspiracy theories are believable, and since the Donald cannot bring himself to accept the possibility that this group decided that he lost this debate based on his performance, he simply must accept this one as well.

It must be a conspiracy that the conservative Wall Street Journal's latest poll out today (pre-debate, post video) has Clinton ahead by double digits.

This is going to be interesting (in a kind of creepy, Oswald-Mosley-the-Would-Be-British-Nazi-Party-leader kind of way): Trump will continue doubling- and quadrupling-down on the most outrageously fascist Breitbartian applause lines, precisely because that gets him the rabid response to which he's addicted, and while the rest of the nation, including the slightly-less-insane-but-still-corrupt GOP, are running for the exits.

By 4 weeks from now, Trump and his Trumpistas will have disappeared up each others' assholes in a death spiral of insular self-referentiality. I'm hoping Secret Service is ratcheting up scrutiny and vigilance--we're going to need it.

Those women — Juanita Broaddrick, Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey and Kathy Shelton — also attended the debate. Trump’s campaign had even devised a covert plan to have the four women join the Trump family’s box and cause a scene on national television by entering the debate hall with the 42nd president. But the plan that was thwarted by a co-chair of the Commission on Presidential Debates, which threatened to have security remove the women from the family-only elevated box.

Every day The Great Orange Shitgibbon and his running mate Voldemort-With-More-Hair spend talking about prosecuting Hillary when they get into office is another day Donald gains zero voters, and possibly loses a few.

There is literally* nobody in the country who A) thinks Hillary should be locked up and B) was not already voting for the shitgibbon. Tossing red meat into the basket of deplorables just cements Hillary's victory, and causes more pain for downballot races.

In other words, please proceed, shitgibbon.

What two body language experts saw at the second presidential debate

Givens: “Trump’s constant pacing and restless movements around the stage attracted attention from Hillary's words, and visually disrespected her physical presence on the stage, as in ‘I am big, you are small.’ ”

Wood: “He circles her during her turn. He is like a lion: going in with a biting attack, then keeping his attack energy going by continuing to move and circle.”

I know Donald Trump. Though we have never met, I know him well.

At several moments throughout the campaign, I have felt that something about Trump was disturbingly familiar, but I couldn’t quite pinpoint it. After seeing the video of this presidential candidate and married man talking about kissing women, grabbing their vaginas and using his celebrity to get them to do whatever he wants, I now fully recognize the guy I have known since I was a teenage boy. The Trump on that video is a sexist, misogynistic, womanizing cheater who degrades and sometimes sexually assaults women. I know this man and so many like him. I wish I didn’t, yet I do, and I have for a long time.

Well, the truth is this: focus groups are the lowest rung of the opinion research business. They represent only the opinions of the people at the table and nothing else. It doesn't matter if they get "coached" or not. What happens in focus groups in no way represents what the population at large is thinking.

Same for twitter polls, and any other poll that is open to anyone and everyone who feels like putting in their two cents.

"Polls" such as these do NOT reflect what is going to happen on election day.

For him to get all hot and bothered about maybe one or two people saying something that may repeat what they just heard is totally a waste of his time and energy -- and the rest of the world who has to deal with his off the wall response.

There's a problem with this continued spewing of conspiracy bullshit by Trump: His "base" contains some seriously deranged and dangerous people.

I live in a Republican-dominated rural Virginia county. About 21% of the 12,000 population is black. Google "Virginia massive resistance." Back when the Supreme Court decided to enforce Brown v. Board of Education, several VA counties closed their public schools for 3-5 years rather than desegregate. My county is one of these. The racial divide in this county is still palpable. Two of our county supervisors openly talk about "the n*****s."

    I drive a gas-sipping Mini Cooper and a big-ass, gas-guzzling F250 SuperDuty 4WD. Cooper has a demure "Clinton-Kaine 2006" bumper sticker. The truck is emblazoned within-your-face bumper stickers:
    -- US Army Retired
    -- Ranger
    -- Airborne
    -- Special Forces
    -- Vietnam Vet
    -- Remington
    -- Sigg-Sauer
    -- Weatherby
-- Proud to be a Dmeocrat
-- I stand with Planned Parenthood
    -- Clinton-Kaine 2006

In the past two weeks, I have been confronted in the grocery or hardware parking lot, cursed at, spit at. Today, I was roundly cursed to the point that I called the cops -- the Trumpista asshole left but I gave the deputy his license number -- he's a known thug with a drug habit and a history of violent arrests.

Somewhere one or more of these sonsabitches is going to go postal on November 9.

As for me, I'm now carrying a pistol in each of my vehicles. Another of our county Democrats will not let his wife go out alone because of the abuse aimed ath their Clinton-Kaine bumper sticker. Three Democrats who work at our polls have quit because of the pre-election abuse they are taking from Republicans.

I live in Wasilla, just moved here last year from another part of Alaska. I would never put a bumper sticker on my car for Clinton. I am an older lady and I do not need the bullshit that would come with that on my car, and not willing to chance my car getting trashed. Wasilla is a full of trumpanzes.

Trump is right. If you are rich and famous, you can get away with sexual assaulting women.

c4p's speppers69 is more than willing to let them grope her.. abused women everywhere hate women like this

"I married a rock musician. I've been backstage. I've been grabbed and touched and kissed by numerous big name musicians and members of their tour crews. It comes with the territory. It's "acceptable" when you are rich and talented and famous and has been for a very long time. Is it "right"? NO!!! But people acting like this is something never done or said is just lying to themselves.

We all make choices in life. I knew what could happen backstage. For me...it was worth every minute of it. A few uncomfortable moments were worth all the incredible things I was able to see and do and people I was lucky to meet. Trump is NOT the first guy to say and do indecent or offensive things....and he will not be the last. The only difference is that Trump got caught and happens to have an (R) next to his name."

Donald Trump Once Advised Bill Cosby How To Handle Assault Allegations
From one creepy old man to another.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-advice-bill-cosby_us_57fbfce2e4b0b6a43034d47c

"Donald Trump had strong advice for entertainer Bill Cosby in 2014 when a reporter for the E! Entertainment television channel asked about Cosby’s growing sexual assault scandal.

Rather than express anger at Cosby over numerous accusations he drugged and assaulted women, or empathy for those who said they had been victimized, Trump criticized the legendary comic for failing to push back harder against the claims.

“I think it’s very sad, and frankly I don’t think he’s handling it very well,” Trump told the network during a red-carpet event."

Who cares about a focus group? The whole country, indeed the whole world, heard the words and observed the behavior of both candidates during the debate. It was Trump's rhetoric and his bizarre behavior that led to his "losing" the debate. This man will try to deflect anything and everything and his supporters and the media fall for it over and over again.
