Easily the creepiest thing you will see all day.

"The things he says are true."

"We finally have this god who's going to come down and help us all."

Remember what I posted yesterday about facts no longer mattering?

Yeah, this is what I was talking about.

And the most terrifying part is that they vote.

President Barack Obama said he faced a candidate similar to Donald Trump eight years ago in his first White House bid — and he said they’re both symptomatic of the deeper problems within the Republican Party.

“I see a straight line from the announcement of Sarah Palin as the vice-presidential nominee to what we see today in Donald Trump — the emergence of the Freedom Caucus, the Tea Party and the shift in the center of gravity for the Republican Party,” Obama told Jonathan Chait in a lengthy New York magazine interview.

"In 1995, Trump turned his Trump Plaza casino into a publicly traded company, Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts, which he controlled. (That company filed for bankruptcy protection in 2004.) The Wall Street Journal said of his 1995 moves, "He cut a deal with banks that wiped out the last of his personal debt. He paid less than half of the roughly $110 million he owed, according to a person familiar with the matter."
That year — 1995 — appears to have been the key turning point for Trump. He wound down his own debt troubles but left many casino workers, contractors and lenders in trouble."Times story confirms "the colossal nature of Donald Trump's past business failures. ... He stiffed small businesses, laid off workers, and walked away from hardworking communities. And how did it work out for him? He apparently got to avoid paying taxes for nearly two decades."

Best reply to a trump supporter I've seen -
brief excerpt below, the full article explains each of the 7 points

If You Tell Me You Are Supporting Trump, I Already Know Seven Things About You
Tell me you are conservative. Tell me you are Christian. Tell me you are Republican. Tell me any of these things, and I won't make too many assumptions about you. Sure, I may assume you go to church every Sunday, eat red meat, and get most of your news from Fox and Friends, but beyond that, I will withhold judgment on the kind of person you are until I get to know you. In fact, as a Southern white male veteran who lives in a very rural area, most of the people in my circles are of the right-leaning variety. I can attest that most people are fairly decent when you get to know them.

This equation changes when you tell me unequivocally that you are voting for Trump. Instantly, I know there are certain things about you and your character that I can assume that I wouldn't if you told me you supported any other GOP candidate. Ain’t none of them good.

Tell me you are a strong Trump supporter, then you are telling me:

    1. You want to be ruled, not governed.
    2. You have no class.
    3. You are definitely not someone to do business with.
    4. You are either a racist, or at best, have no problem with racism.
    5. You have an issue with women.
    6. You aren't really Christian.
    7. You don’t believe in the Constitution.

From a christian perspective; it's just not a statement of true faith when one thinks of another as a god, even making the point in jest. But, folks, I've been surfing the internet to hear the christian community reason on the candidates, and in the loud voices of Trumpsters, the fewer common sense and discerning ones get attacked from the Trumpster christians. So, not only are the minorities and others not tolerated, a segment of christians are now condemned by these kind. We are witnessing lots of crazy in the political realm and in social consciousness, but also in the matters of christianity in the U.S.
