Hillary Clinton is the most sexually harassed woman in the country.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

No woman has experienced sexual harassment en masse like Hillary Clinton during this presidential campaign. There’s no reason to think it will stop if she wins.

It’s not just Donald Trump. Clinton haters broadcast their harassment on T-shirts, buttons, car bumpers. There are even billboards and dolls. She’s regularly called a bitch and a cunt. Told to smile more. To smile less. Her looks are constantly rated and found lacking.

Clinton’s run for the presidency has unleashed a deep unease many people, men and women, feel about powerful women. Swirl that discomfort with the brazen misogyny of her opponent and his supporters, then top it off with decades of Hillary hate fueled by various conservative politicians and conspiracy theorists and the result is, well: Trump that Bitch.
You know we tend to think of Hillary Clinton as this incredible resilient and tough minded person who has been dealing with these attacks for the majority of her life and has grown a skin thick enough to protect her against anything.

But can anybody really become tough enough not to feel anything in response to these incredibly disgusting comments?

I would like think of myself as a hard ass, but I have to admit that if I had to face what Hillary faces on a daily basis I am not sure I could get myself out of bed some mornings.

We think that she is the toughest woman on the planet, but we forget that she was once somebody's little girl, is now somebody's mother, and also somebody's grandmother, and that underneath it all she is just a woman trying to plant her feet in a place always reserved for only men, and that for that reason alone she is facing a never ending barrage of hate that no woman, no man, no person, should ever have to face.

No we should not only support Hillary Clinton simply because she will be the first woman President.

But neither should she be vilified simply BECAUSE she will be the first woman President.

Yet GOP women who are more honest than Hillary can be called cunts etc.

Democrats have zero standards or morals.

We also hold the majority of economic power, the problem is women don't stick together.

I'm appalled at what Republicans utter in this campaign - pure hate and evilness!

Women are going to come out in droves and vote for her and she's going to cream Donald Trump.

Hillary Clinton is able, experienced, kind, has a great sense of humor, laugh and smile, a wonderful wife and mother and she is loved by many throughout the country.

I'd be embarrassed to call myself a Republican!

And, the guy that is wearing that above T-shirt should be carted off to jail! Using that nastiness on his T-shirt in front of women and kids - in a large crowd - is appalling. He's an idiot!

THIS is the record from the past 30 years of Hillary Clinton's public service that people need to know about.

Everyone who gets to her level of politics has to have made some questionable deals, made lots of mistakes, lied and misled the public to some extent, and traded favors. Our broken political system doesn't allow people who haven't done those things to rise all the way to the top.

However, the work that Hillary has done for children, for women and for families since she first left law school speak to her character and her motives. Sure, she's benefited from her life in the political system, but in the end she is there to serve the people of the United States. No one can honestly say that about the candidate on the other side.

3:29 Thanks for a voice of reason. I totally agree.

You can't be in something as decisive as politics, especially at the highest level without mistakes and major attacks.

People just don't seem to get it. The more you get out there doing things the more mistakes you'll make. Best to learn from them and make yourself better because of it.

Those who don't want to risk tend to want to attack those who do. Because it is easier to attack then to face the truth.

(At least in this political situation we are living through.)

How neo-Nazi trolls tormented an anti-Trump conservative for adopting a black daughter

For the past year-and-a-half, the alt-right has used social media to viciously torment Donald Trump’s critics on both the right and the left. National Review writer David French, who briefly flirted with launching his own independent presidential candidacy to challenge Trump, writes on Friday about the awful harassment he and his family have been subjected to over the past year.

In particular, the alt-right made a point to attack French’s youngest daughter, whom his family had adopted from Ethiopia. You see, alt-righters view bringing in children of color to America as the ultimate betrayal of the white race, which is why they had particular scorn for French.

“I saw images of my daughter’s face in gas chambers, with a smiling Trump in a Nazi uniform preparing to press a button and kill her,” he writes. “I saw her face photo-shopped into images of slaves. She was called a ‘niglet’ and a ‘dindu.’ The alt-right unleashed on my wife, Nancy, claiming that she had slept with black men while I was deployed to Iraq, and that I loved to watch while she had sex with ‘black bucks.’ People sent her pornographic images of black men having sex with white women, with someone photoshopped to look like me, watching.”

  19. No self respecting woman would put up with the likes of the a**hole wearing that shirt... Not only is the shirts and the mans message beyond offensive, demeaning to his own wife and children, it's the word...

THE ugliest word in the English language, and one of the most disappointing things about that is that we haven't an equally offensive word that applies to only men. I have wished for years to find a word that is male gender specific that is as offensive, not to insult, but to hopefully get some men to understand how offensive that nasty "C" word is. When I hear it, it's like someone cutting me with a knife.

Words do matter, they can lift and empower they can cut and demean.

No "real" man would ever use that word to demean women.

This is the saddest election year I have ever lived through. I'll be so glad when this election is OVER, but sad to think about how our new President, Hillary Rodham Clinton will be treated... yes she's breaking a glass ceiling, Obama broke a glass ceiling, at a price. The bravery and fortitude these two exhibit gives me hope. Hope for our country and hope that change will occur in the hearts of those who hate.

Madam President and the First Gentleman.

      President Clinton and President Clinton.

      Sounds pretty good.

There was a time when men would be on the brink of killing if you insulted their honor. Liar, cheat, coward. Calling a man a "bastard" used to mean something. You're right, there is nothing you can call a man to equal the disgusting, derogatory insults they hurl at women. Bastard doesn't have the same impact as Bitch.

Impotent won't do it. You could question his manhood but calling a man a homosexual, fag, queer, etc. is no longer politically correct or a stigma.

Calling a man a dick doesn't have the same impact as calling a woman a cunt.

I think this is because men have historically used vile epithets against women to control them and exert power. They have used the context and their position in society to make the terms more vile than anything a woman can hurl back.

Perhaps we could try referring to men as dildoes, but I don't think that would have the same impact. Aside from the fact that Cletus and his ilk probably wouldn't know what one was.

I've told my family members (two of whom are volunteering, like me, at for the Clinton/Kaine campaign office locally in Cleveland) to be *very* careful about who they talk to and how much information they tell...My brother assumed a friend of his was a Hillary supporter and told him he was a volunteer. Boy, did that guy go NUTS on him! I'm especially worried about my *very* liberal mom, who is pushing 80, tiny and very frail. But she is still very vocal and doesn't care who she offends. This can be very dangerous nowadays. I travel aways to volunteer because I want no one where I live (rural Ohio) to know what I am doing. The other day I worked a phone bank, and it felt great! BTW, I also voted early and I highly recommend it, if it is possible.
