I thought I would share this again in light of Donald Trump's past week.

Yes I recognize that it is very childish and immature, but then again it is so, so satisfying.

Donald Trump got spanked so hard this last week that any rational person would either throw up their hands and quit, or completely retool their campaign to keep similar self inflicted injuries from happening again.

However this is ego maniacal Donald J. Trump, so we know he is going to learn absolutely nothing from this and that there are even worse gaffes and scandals coming down the pike.

Popcorn anyone?

  1. As recently as yesterday (Saturday) he was still claiming that he won the debate:

"I won the debate if you decide without watching the totally one-sided 'spin' that followed. This despite the really bad microphone."

How the mic caused stupid, ignorant, and offensive words to fall out of his repulsive piehole is still a mystery. At any rate, this is good news as you know he is snarling at his campaign staff that he does not need to prepare for the second debate any differently than he did for the first.

You're right; however his followers aren't rational. And this morning's news that he hasn't paid income tax in probably 18 years will only solidify his base. Those people don't or don't want to pay income tax either. Trump will look heroic in their eyes. Trump, to them, is like their old crusty tone deaf rich grandpa. They put up with what he says in hopes they will get some of his money.

Trump's not-so-smart supporters need to be reminded constantly, as Hillary Clinton did during the debate, that not paying taxes means not paying one's fair share of supporting police, firemen, active members of the armed services, veterans and every action that the various levels of government take for the benefit of all the people (think building roads and bridges, providing safe drinking water, etc.), including the Trump supporters.

his followers know he won't build wall - I've seen interviews with some where they say of course it is not a real wall - but a symbolic wall and he will deport all the illegals and make sure no more enter our country - they are vague on the details of how that will happen but totally convinced trump can do it

I think after this election it should become law that (1) candidates release their tax returns, (2) their full medical records and (3) undergo a psychological examination.

    O/T
But the US tax codes says people can deduct their businesses losses from their personal taxes in following years. And this isn’t just a one-year privilege — it can stretch on for more than a decade.

So now I get it, Trump gets rewarded by the IRS for being a crappy businessman that sends his companies down the tubes by allowing him to not pay any taxes for a couple of decades.

I am sure all the little people that lost their jobs because of him do not get the same privilege.

5:37 AM I would liken his base's admiration of Trump not paying any federal income taxes not to rich grandpa but more to they're cheering for the bank robber. Little do they know that he didn't steal from the bank but from them. Idiots.

It has already started. Since when does the president fix the tax code, that is the job of Congress, which has no intention of doing so because the rich would have to pay their fair share.

@ 7:58 It worked for me.

I am so glad that Giuliani informed us that poor people are just like Trump, they don't pay taxes either because they take deductions. (Meet the Press)

Also Giuliani's argument that Trump HAD to use this deduction, his fiduciary duty or his investors would sue him is really bizarre since Trump used the deduction on his PERSONAL TAX return.

Which leads me to believe Trump is hiding something on his tax returns, they are trying to hard to justify something that is suppose to be legal.

  6. Interesting.

People like Trump are deemed noble and brilliant for reducing their tax liabilities as much as possible (their "fiduciary duty").

The "little people" go to H&R Block to reduce their tax obligation, maybe to the point they even get a refund, and somehow that makes them nothing but "takers."

How anyone who works for a living can vote for a republican s beyond me.

Was reading an article in the Washington Post about on of Trump's supporters. She had a bad life. But instead of realizing that we all have pitfalls in life, she decided to blame Obama and Clinton. So what Trump has been saying aligns with what she believes. That Obama is gay, Michelle is transgender, and their kids were kidnapped. On and on. All fueled by conspiracy theories, the new tool for propoganda. Hitler would have loved the internet. Just imagine all the dummies sitting at their tv sets and internet and ingesting all the shit targeted just for them. Wow. We all need to start getting smart real fast or put our head between our legs and kiss our asses goodbye.

I read the same story. The woman is clearly unstable. I don't know what percentage of his supporters are like her but it is frightening that they vote.

Trump's hiding something, and I think it's more than not paying taxes, he's probably in some ponzi scheme with fake charities that funnel the money back to Trump. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could toss him.

AG yanked his charity today. He's being investigated.
