Just a couple of Donald Trump fans enjoying a football game.

Courtesy of Think Progress:

Two fans at Saturday night’s University of Wisconsin football game wore a costume featuring President Obama in a noose, with Donald Trump holding the rope.

One of the pair sported an Obama mask and had a noose around their neck. They also had a Hillary Clinton mask. The other person wore a Trump mask and held the noose to give the appearance Trump was hanging either Obama or Clinton.

You know I don't think that a basket is quite big enough to hold all of Trump's "deplorables."

Perhaps a garbage truck would be a more appropriate container.

Our son marched at Michigan, and one of the games we attended was against Wisconsin. There were three obviously drunk UW students in front of us the whole game, screaming and yelling obscenities. After the game, they turned to us and asked if we knew where the nearest bar was. I suppose they planned to get even more drunk and then drive back home.
The fact that someone would even SELL an ignorant racist and horrible costume like that speaks volumes. The party that is for the people gets lambasted in the media over nothing, while the party of rapists, serial adulterers, liars, proud tax cheats, businessmen who use America only to enrich themselves, and those who take loans from China and Russia are noble and patriotic and deserving of offices where they can screw us more. Is this April Fool's Day?

    2. It is a post-fact, post-civility, post-reason world now: hope that we don't have get used to it, but if Trump is not trounced throughly and both the House and the Senate are in Democratic hands, get ready for another 4 years of obstructionism, impeachment proceedings, endless hearings, stalled nominations... shit.

VOTE! Drive a neighbor to the polls.

Yes, this is certainly a few of the inhabitants of the "deplorables basket." I ask myself why do these people hate President Obama so much. It's not that they're poor because tickets to university football games are expensive. It's not that the Obama administration has treated them or their families so badly. What can it be except pure, latent racism that emerged once President Obama was in office? In any event, the evil clowns photographed above obviously don't mind being seen as stupid, crass, mean-spirited, and ignorant.

As much as I abhor this, it is considered "free speech." When I think of all President Obama and his family have endured the past eight-plus years, it only solidifies what remarkable people they are.

Oh my goodness will I miss them.

There is a difference between free speech and hate speech. Unfortunately, the US is one of the few countries that is capable of recognizing this and making the hate part of free speech a crime.

The president does not look like them, some white men are getting their panties in a bunch because they had a Half African American president for the last eight years. Now it is about to be followed up for at least four years with Hillary, That will be twelve years since the last time a white man was the complete boss. It pisses some of these cowards off because they fear change, and are stuck longing for the old days. Not long ago when women where second class citizens and you can lynch a black man for just having the wrong look on their face. I just want the best person for the job, not a bullying rapist that cant take any negative criticism

No doubt it burned their butts that he's smarter than them, more eloquent, suave, and believes in opportunity for all. Something they will never be or could hope to be.

    Don't generalize millions of people.

I'm not trying to generalize a group of people, but most of trump's supporters are poor undereducated rednecks. They are going to "make. America great again" Critical thought is something they seem to lack. Good luck with that.

Living in the Mat Su Valley in Alaska, I have always know that this is a Republican stronghold. What absolutely amazes me is that almost all of my friends are very much for Trump. These people do not fall in the with the most of the Trump fans. These people are all well educated, mostly retired with good incomes. Several are religious (or so they tell me, haven't seen much sign of it myself) but most just bewilder me. The women are almost more into Trump than their husbands. Just call me bewildered. Go Hillary.

Why is it illegal in the US to discriminate but legal to say and do the most hateful things under the guise of free speech? Weird.

Plenty of room in the basket of deplorables. Hey, there's a rumor going around that Melania's going to give a speech in Pennsylvania. "It was the worst of times, it got better, and it was the best of times but I still go to blacksmith to get my new shoes nailed on."
