Mike Pence issues statement on lewd Trump tape. Update!

"Cannot condone" and "cannot defend."

Finally Mike Pence finds his limit with things he can defend on behalf of Donald Trump.

It also looks as if appearances by Pence have been scrubbed from the Trump campaign schedule.

Could this mean that Pence has one foot out the door?

And if he is jumping ship he better hurry before he is the only one left still supporting Trump.

Update: Here is the statement supposedly just now issued by Melania Trump.
Yeah if you think Melania had anything to do with that statement I have a bridge I would like to sell you.

Update 2: Donald Trump apparently got his smart phone back.
Yep, as defiant as ever.

Update 3: Okay you KNOW you're screwed when Tic Tac weighs in on your campaign.
Somebody check the records, when was the last time a breath freshener felt the need to distance themselves from a candidate?

  1. Anonymous11:03 AM

We already know what's in his heart, Mike.
    Thanks for sharing.

    1. Anonymous11:11 AM

And about that remorse and "apology": the first doesn't exist, the second was mealy-mouthed bullshit, not an apology.

    2. Anonymous11:47 AM

Melania is a fraud. She does not write her own material.

    3. Anonymous11:56 AM

Trump needs Sarah Palin to be there for him now. His family is family, they lie for him. Sarah Palin has a choice. She can tell the truth or she can lie.

Whatever she chooses, she needs to come out of her fetal position in that dark, dark closet of hers.

    4. Anonymous11:58 AM

11:47 Michelle Obama never has, nor ever will have to say those words. Her husband treats people with respect. He has CLASS.

    5. well said... and so true...

    6. Anonymous12:20 PM

11:56 AM Sarah Palin has no influence any longer and she knows it!

Whenever you see her respond to anything on Facebook - the feedback is all negative and her 'handlers' try to delete that type commentary as much and as fast as they can.

    7. Anonymous12:22 PM

I agree, 11:58 AM. Thank God we've had the wonderful Obama family in the White House the past two terms.

President Obama and VP Biden have done an outstanding job and I'm eager to watch the actions of President Obama in his final days of governing as POTUS! He's no longer up for reelection and has so much more freedom.

The Obamas have been a CLASS act! No doubt about it!

    8. Anonymous12:27 PM

The Republican National Committee's rules say it can fill any candidate vacancies that occur because of "death, declination, or otherwise" by either reconvening all 2,472 delegates to vote at another convention, or by letting its 168-member body decide via majority vote."

    9. You can bet your ass donnie-little-dick never apologized to Melania, she is one of the many women he said those very words about, she knows better than anyone, except for Ivana and Marla, what kind of creepy sexual pervert he really is, and like idiots they all signed non-disclosure agreements. His wives, present and past, and the women he has treated like his private sexual playgrounds need to rally round and kick him in the political and legal nutz. FUCK TRUMPs campaign.

If the RNC dares to dump Trump, the GOP will splinter into 1000 pieces. Trump's CULT will not vote for anyone else (stories coming in of crowds booing anyone who says other wise at rallies today) but him. Te GOP slit it's own throat by allowing this waste of biomass to sabotage it.
Can't say I am sorry... they've been headed down this road for EXACTLY 20 years due to Fox News.

  2. Anonymous11:04 AM

    G! Alright LISA!

    1. Anonymous11:37 AM

Lisa Murkowski and the rest of the crew representing Alaska in D.C. have all come out in support of Trump.

Do not trust any of them IF they change their minds now. I'll wager those Republicans WILL cast their vote for Trump even if they come out nearer the actual election and say they cannot support him!

Watch how they say things - none of them area saying they will NOT vote for Trump! They say they will NOT 'support' him!

Play on words and don't trust a friggin' thing those Republicans say - throughout the country.

    2. Anonymous11:50 AM

Taking a HUGE DUMP on drumpf>

  3. "Cannot condone" and "cannot defend."
But by god, I am staying on this ticket. One way or another, I intend to play this into the White House, maybe even in 2016 instead of waiting for 2020.

    1. Anonymous1:30 PM

Funny, he did just fine Tuesday at the debate denying Trump said anything. In fact, ignoring Trump to the degree he almost made him disappear.

Suddenly, he can't deny his existence any more and he suddenly hears everything nasty utterance spewn from Trump's gapping maw.

What happened to Mikey? He suddenly sees the possibility of being a last minute nominee with dibs on 2020?

  4. Anonymous11:08 AM

Pence joined the Trump team to enhance his political career - nothing more and nothing less.

Pence will never be elected POTUS as the Trump connection will never be washed from him.

Vote out every Republican that is up for reelection - in the U.S. Congress, your state and communities.

Their party has created havoc throughout the country! We are in a fucking mess brought on by their leaders in Congress and their constant obstruction against President Obama!

Vote Americans and mark your ballot wisely. Research your candidates - especially those in Congress and your State Legislatures. Review how they voted on key issues and what commentary they have provided. Often they say one thing and vote completely the opposite - i.e. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska!

    Vote for Hillary Clinton!

  5. Anonymous11:09 AM

Ummm, in case you haven't noticed, Governor Pence, he HAS shown what's in his heart. Over and over and over again.

It's ugly, slimy, and diseased, and it doesn't belong anywhere near the White House or ANY position of power.

And I'd like to ask you, Governor Pence, how you would feel if the women he was talking about assaulting included your wife. Or sister. Or daughter. Would it still be so easily forgiven and would you want the person who verbally, emotionally and physically assaulted YOUR cherished family member to become President?

    1. Anonymous12:26 PM

The NYT has a wonderful summary of Trumps behavior towards women. To be fair, it is not all horrific, but a lot of it is. And if someone wants to be president, even a little of this sort of disgusting disrespect is way too much.

Considering by far most of Trump's victims are bound to silence by nondisclosure contracts, including his ex wives, we will never see more than the tip of the iceberg.

    2. Anonymous2:37 PM

Did they get the ones about him saying Howard Stern could call Ivanka a piece of ass? Or him boasting about his genitals to Gloria Allred?

  6. Anonymous11:10 AM

They all need to go down with the captain of the SS tRump. Pence is more dangerous and an opportunist of the worst kind.

    1. Anonymous12:02 PM

  7. Anonymous11:10 AM

Do you want a person in the oval office who:

acts like 70% of humans in private.

is married to a man who does the same, and is a woman who bullies women to protect her own interests. (not to mention having an awful international relations record, and abysmal Haiti record.)

    1. Anonymous11:24 AM

Are we comparing this to Palin's Haiti record?

    2. Chenagrrl11:29 AM

Are we talking about Hillary or Sarah Palin? Her record on Haiti is exploitation.

    3. Anonymous11:32 AM

Vote for Hillary Clinton! She reacted no differently than other wives when they've learned their husband has been unfaithful.

She and Bill maintained their marriage, worked it out and are very much a team today! Good for both of them. I personally admire them as I'm sure many others do throughout the country.

All we hear is negative about them because that is all the media/press and Republican party have shoveled for the past year.

They have been promoting Donald Trump and making him into someone he obviously is not. He is no more qualified to be POTUS than I am!

Vote for Hillary Clinton! She will be a great POTUS!

    4. Anonymous11:35 AM

You need a new song and dance. 'Cause this one is getting tired.

    5. Anonymous11:57 AM

It bears repeating would be my thought. How would you suggest it be said differently, 11:35 AM?

By the by - who might you be supporting? Hope it's Hillary Clinton!

    6. Anonymous12:20 PM

How did Hillary bully any of her husband's accusers? Link or it didn't happen.

    7. Anonymous12:28 PM

11:57am, I was speaking to the OP. They've been saying the same stupid anti hillary bullshit for months. You in the wrong place if you're spoiling for a fight.

    8. Anonymous6:11 PM

Well lookie, lookie, the Trump troll that keeps posting the same crap over and over on every thread plagiarized Trump’s own remarks and we know Trump never lies right :)

Because he spent years and years telling us Pres. Obama is not an American citizen and he proved he was correct, right.

"I've said some foolish things," Trump said. "But there's a big difference between the words and actions of other people. Bill Clinton has actually abused women and Hillary has bullied, attacked, shamed and intimidated his victims."

    9. Anonymous7:57 PM

Just who the hell do you hang out with, Anonymous at 11:10? No, 70% of people do not act like Trump in private. What he is admitting to is illegal and called sexual assault.

  8. Anonymous11:12 AM

Hey Melania: No one cares what a hooker-turned-housewife thinks. Fuck off!

    1. Anonymous11:47 AM

Go let your husband grab your cat. Hahahahahahahahahaha...

    2. Anonymous12:02 PM

Oh, puleeze. At the time tRump made these statements, they had only been married a few months. He was already tired of her, ready to move on.

    3. Anonymous12:24 PM

And Melania was pregnant at the time. We all know what he thinks about pregnant women.

    4. Anonymous2:07 AM

Lets not forget she calls her pornographic photos "modeling".

And I have beach front property to sell you in Nevada.

  9. Anonymous11:16 AM

Dear me. Melanie knows a different Donald Trump. And Pence is going to pray for him. It all reeks of insincerity, just like Trump's non-apology apology. I think the GOP is stuck with him; my prayer is that the country will NOT be stuck with him after January 20, 2017.

    1. Anonymous12:03 PM

Melania knows her marriage is a fraud.

    2. Anonymous12:52 PM

Melania lasted long enough to birth Barron so she's in the money for life. Think they sleep in the same bed? Hardly.

dRump's hands were all over Ivanka onstage, while he "kiss kiss"ed his wife like celebrities do. Just eeewwww.

    3. Anonymous6:17 PM

God told Pence she is not taking any prayers for Trump.

Melania got a green card and citizenship out of the deal.

I would love to see a group of women belt Trump with cases of tic tacs next debate.

  10. Lindsay11:17 AM

I just got done writing my predictions on how Sarah/Bristol are going to respond on the last thread. Gryph, if you have time, maybe you could set up an open thread just for that. I am dying for the laughs. Maybe we could start a pool

    1. Anonymous11:28 AM

    2. Anonymous12:01 PM

"Look at us!" No thank you.

    3. Anonymous1:29 PM

Sarah/Bristol are supporting Sgt Meyer now. He is their political future. All eyes are on the sex trafficking and victims that Sgt Meyer is busy saving. How many busts has he made so far? That is the news they need to be talking about.

      This is right on.

This is about the Republican party.

    2. Anonymous2:00 PM

Not only that. They shut down everything. They've stopped mailing and any printing.

I think they are shutting down all support for Trump's campaign and are just going to let him hang.

Might be their way of getting rid of him. He's *said* he won't quit, but I think he will and this is their way of forcing him.

  16. Anonymous11:33 AM

Official GOP position: "the comments by Mr. Drumpf on the tape were despicable, indefensible, misogynist, offensive, horrible, awful, outrageous, deplorable, insulting and ugly. They reflect the core of a man profoundly unfit to lead this great nation as President and Commander-In-Chief. Fortunately, the good lord has forgiven him already. Therefore, we ask for your thoughts and prayers as Mr. Drumpf "apologizes" - heh heh heh - and seeks your forgiveness. We look forward to beating Crooked Hillary on Election Day and invite all Americans to unify on Inauguration Day in January for the beginning of the greatest, most ethical, most open and most tremendous Republican administration since Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan walked the earth. At separate times. Not together, of course. God bless Douchebag Don and America, also, too. Amen."

  17. After all the hateful, repulsive things he has said about minorities, women who are not supermodels, veterans, etc., THIS is the breaking point? Rep us will accept endorsements from KKK, white nationalists, Putin. But don't say lewd things about beautiful white women.

When Kaine accurately pointed out Trump's call for mass deportations of illegals,

Pence called it "nonsense." (To be fair, Trump has recently "softened" his promise to deport illegals)

When Kaine called out Trump for his controversial and dangerous man-crush of Vladimir Putin,

Pence responded with a weak retort about how he was "offended" by the accusation.

When Kaine accurately challenged the Trump campaign about his threats towards NATO (calling them obsolete), his claims about how much smarter he is than the generals and his belief that more nations should have nuclear weapons,

Pence replied, "oh, please, come on."

    1. Anonymous12:16 PM

Pffffffft! Did you get this stupid thing off Facebook?

    2. Anonymous12:16 PM

Trump hasn't been in a governmental position to make decisions as noted above! So, no one knows which way he would have flowed!

He has said many things throughout the past year that truly disqualify him as to becoming POTUS. He is a liar, fraud, racists and is 'not' a qualified businessman. None doing business with him throughout the years have come out in support of him or have said they enjoyed doing business with him! It's been completely the opposite! That should tell you something right there!

As to the military and Donald Trump. He didn't serve and neither have his sons....when they could have!

Plus, he is very, very vile in his talking points. Sickening to say the least and so very anti women! Women (good looking ones only) are nothing more than sex objects to him and candy on his arm! His poor wife/wives and daughters!

    3. Anonymous12:17 PM

No, Trump didn't do many of the items on your list. However, the Republican Party did everything Trump missed.

Thank you so much for the convenient list of how the Republican Party has mishandled every issue and policy for the last thirty years. Well done you.

    5. Anonymous12:30 PM

Hillary Clinton didn't do any of these things either. Go back to brietbart.

  22. Anonymous11:56 AM

Maleria translated "I VANT to be FORST LAYDEE" "I vant to show that beetch, Ivanka, that I will be in the White House, not her."

    1. Anonymous12:19 PM

Actually, I don't think she does. Didn't exactly looked pleased every time she's had to stump for Hair Drumpf, & after the humiliation of her cribbed RNC speech, she's tried to stay out of sight. There were even some rumors that she had been "wished into the cornfield."
Besides, why should she go live in a dump like the White House when she had gold-plated toilets of her own?

  23. Anonymous11:59 AM

Funny. Trump has said about his daughter that makes parents cringe. Yet Ivanka seems to enjoy a happy life and a good marriage, having no outward problems. She's poised. articulate and confident. Rosie said their chance meeting was good and remarked how impressive Ivanka is. So, maybe we need to reassess how we judge people we don't know. This isn't to say I'm defending him as a candidate for president. Presidents must maintain public civility and respect, which is the only reason Hillary is viable because that bitch is straight nuts.

btw, every time people call others "bitch" and similar things, even out of respect, they're demeaning themselves and the subject. Everyone does it.

    1. Anonymous12:07 PM

      And you just did!
      Consider yourself demeaned.

    2. Anonymous12:15 PM

    3. Anonymous12:31 PM

Who wants to point out the OPs hypocrisy?

    4. Anonymous12:35 PM

I don't care how Ivanka appears in public. Her being poised, etc. doesn't impress me any more than when I see it in so many regular people every day. It doesn't take much for someone to carry herself well, and most people are not public idiots. And I'm not impressed that she's turned out not to be the mother from hell after growing up with Trump as a father. So many women are good moms who have been through hell and had toxic parents of every type. What I see that I disapprove of in Ivanka is that she is higgly manipulative and crafts everything she puts out there--she comes off as nice, etc. but also as a product, something she is selling. And she knows what she's doing.

As for her having anything to say on her father's behavior, aside from anything she witnessed happen to her mother, she is not in the know and not a credible source. Just as abusers' friends and colleagues never see the man who hits his wife, a daughter is not someone who sees her father verbally and physically assault women who are strangers and acquaintances. I do not care what Ivanka has to say on this topic. Period.

And as for Rosie, she has a long history of being very fair and not blaming others for the deeds of someone else. And while she is analytical and critiques--as we all should if we have brains--she has a history of being positive and complimentary and boosting people rather than saying something to bring them down. She never attacks anyone who hasn't out-and-out done something hurtful to others. She also sympathizes and empathizes. She surely feels for anyone who has to deal with a life that is marked by having Donald Drumpf as a father.

    5. Anonymous1:19 PM

I just read that tRump gave permission to Howard Stern to call Ivanka "a piece of ass" She was 15 or 16 at that time. Great dad, great family values gop style. right??

    6. Anonymous1:34 PM

I understand that Ivanka was raised by her grandparents and her mother. Daddy was like going to Disneyland. He did it his way.

He taught her that his way was the only way and the best way.

She got other qualities from her maternal grandparents.

  24. Meanwhile, the hits just keep on coming.

Dan dfrom Ohio Sullivan and Murky tell tic-tac Trump to GTFO!

"Alaska Republican Sens. Dan Sullivan and Lisa Murkowski on Saturday called for Donald Trump to drop out of the presidential race after release of a tape on Friday in which he spoke of women in vulgar sexual terms.

Sullivan issued a statement Saturday morning that said, "Donald Trump should step aside. I will support Governor Mike Pence for President."

Several minutes later, Murkowski posting on Twitter, said: "I cannot and will not support Donald Trump for president. He has forfeited the right to be our party's nominee.""

I'll be surprised if Sarah says chit about this. I think she's still scared of Sullivan.

    1. Anonymous1:47 PM

Remember, Alaska's reps are saying they will not 'support' Trump - that doesn't say they won't vote for him and stick to their Republican 'values'!!! (Barf!)

I don't trust Sullivan (the Ohio man that somehow got elected in Alaska!) or Murkowski! They both make me want to regurgitate!

  26. Connie12:12 PM

Soooo I'm supposed to be outraged by a twenty year old hyped up scandal of consensual sex and forgive an eleven year old tape that confirms current behaviors.

Can you imagine president Obama saying anything like what Trump has said?? Our president is such a class act!

    1. Anonymous12:39 PM

No. I can think of other (modern) Presidents (plural) who thought like that, although may not have said that. Some of them Democrats. I'm not defending it. I just don't think this is unique to DT or Republicans.

    2. Anonymous1:20 PM

@12:39 PM You really need to think what you wrote. Trump's actions/words were sexual assault, criminal intent, not just lusting after every vaaagina remotely but forcing himself physically on more than one woman, hoping for entrance. That is a hoodlum's behavior and invading a woman's turf.

Please recognize what is taking place, don't do like the dumb supporters and excuse Drumpf by "interpreting" for him or shoving his despicable acts on to others by saying he just does what other guys do.

Grow some cajones and man up, call out those who disrespect women and distance yourself.

    3. Anonymous1:25 PM

12:39 The gop tout their "family values" and "Christian faith" constantly, so this is no surprise to any of us. The more they preach, the more they have to hide it turns out.

    4. Anonymous2:11 PM

Being a philanderer is completely different from being a predator.

What Trump bragged that he habitually does, grabbing women's genitals and forcing himself on them is ILLEGAL. No other president has ever said anything similar. And it's my opinion that none of the recent ones ever would. Maybe when they were 16, but not as 60 year old adults. Decent men, even if they talk a bit out of hand when women aren't present, are also completely disgusted by Trump.

BTW, I don't give Trump any kind of pass for this being a 'private' conversation. He was talking to a reporter. He was wearing a microphone. There were seven other people on the bus. I think he talks like this all the time, and he just didn't care who heard him. There are all kinds of reports about his behavior on the set of The Apprentice with the same sort of attitude towards women.

      This man is utterly despicable.

  29. Anonymous12:22 PM

The smartest thing Pence could do right now is to drop out. He'd gain instant respect from the Talibangelicals for his stand on Christian principles. Since he's only the arm candy, he'd suffer very little politically.

    1. Anonymous12:29 PM

And Trump would be sexually assaulted, as it were.

Pence can pray all he wants for Trump, God called and said she is busy.

  30. Anonymous12:23 PM

I am tired of hearing nonstop about pussy, pussy, pussy.

Can we discuss football and baseball?

    1. Anonymous12:28 PM

Not if it's the Red Sox. :'(

      Toronto, all the way!!!

  31. Anonymous12:27 PM

Reince Priebus was so happy with the deep GOP bench and loved Trump for floating to the top of the cesspool.

    What a shit show

    1. Anonymous1:32 PM

Turds do that, you know. Float.

  32. Anonymous12:47 PM

Melania married him for his money, he married her for her looks. I don't think they are or were ever in love. She probably breathes a sigh of relief when some other gold digger shares his bed from time to time.

    1. Anonymous1:27 PM

She does not look happy. Guess the old adage is true "Money can not buy happiness" What a HELL of a way to realise that, eh, Maleria??

    2. Anonymous1:42 PM

She never looks happy - never smiles and her face appears 'locked into' a specific surgical expression. Evil eyes. I don't find her pretty at all! Actually - she has a manly look!

    3. Anonymous2:13 PM

You make your bed and you lie in it.

She looks wretched to me, though I do think she is plenty selfish and nasty, so they at least have that in common.

  33. Anonymous12:47 PM

Nope. No. Nada. A typical abuser will say what is necessary to win the victim over. People that enable an abuser are abusers too. DJT must be treated as the predator that he has displayed himself to be over the last 60 yrs. He himself says he is the same person.

    1. Anonymous2:02 PM

People that enable an abuser are abusers

You can't tell me that the entertainment industry and politicians did not know all about Donald Trump for decades. Billy Bush was just a good old boy, talking like his Bush family taught him when he was being locker boy cool with a star.

They have all known for all these years. They know what the public now knows and much, much, much more.

Mike Pence knew when he signed up to be a Trumpster.

If Pence had been smart he would have considered the odds that something indefensible would be exposed to the public.

Pence knew how deplorable Trump is and was, he's known much worse about Trump and he has known all along.

Pence weakness was to think they would not all be exposed to be liars and supporters of haters like Trump. Whether Pence was caught being a sexist creep or not doesn't matter. He has always known about Trump and he signed up to support the sexist criminal creep. Pence is complicit. His political career isn't worth an ounce of crap and diarrhea.

Indiana may be as sick as Pence and re-elect him but that is just how some Republicans operate.

  34. Anonymous12:59 PM

Last night Bill and Hillary popped open a special bottle of champagne they had been saving.

The toast was .... "Madam President"

  35. Anonymous12:59 PM

cut the crap. trump payme manfart bibrat helldon, bundys, teabags and several others have attempted to pull an ignorant take over of the republican party. But it has failed and headed south like a stack of cards. Gee missy big awsuits galore comin.

  36. Anonymous1:09 PM

Ana Navarro cnn, is my latest hero. She set it (the stupid bitch)straight.Trump is the disgusting slop running for office, not her. She has an obligation to report the facts. She can say pussy . And she is also a Republican? There is hope.

    1. Anonymous8:22 PM

Last night on Maher Carvill revealed his wife had switched from Republican to Libertarian.

I think there are going to be a lot of Republicans leaving the party for various alternatives.

  37. Anonymous1:10 PM

I think this commentary from The Guardian is much better.

"“I pledge to be a better man tomorrow and will never, ever let you down,” Trump said in his half-baked apology video.

Of all the unbelievable words that have come out of his pouting lips, these may be the least credible. Donald Trump will let his party down on Sunday, live on national television. The only remaining question in this election is whether his party can rescue anything of its own reputation even as he flushes his own down the sewer.

On the campaign trail John McCain liked to quote the bleak joke from Charles Schulz, the cartoon creator of the perennial loser Charlie Brown: “It always looks darkest just before it gets totally black.”

It’s time to say good night to the Republican party as we have known it for the last eight years."

  38. Anonymous1:24 PM

TIC TAC weighed in? I have been in fits of giggles all day trying to watch college football! You go for it, Donnie.

    1. Anonymous2:18 PM

MORE MORE MORE>"Donald Trump had recently bought the Miss Universe franchise, and Taggart said that when he introduced himself to her for the very first time he came up to her and kissed her directly on the lips.
“I thought, ‘Oh my god, gross,’” she said. “I think there were a few other girls that he kissed on the mouth. I was like ‘Wow, that’s inappropriate.’”“The Tic Tacs, that’s exactly what Trump did to me,” she wrote. “Trump took Tic Tacs, suggested I take them also. He then leaned in, catching me off guard, and kissed me almost on the lips. I was really freaked out.”

  39. Anonymous1:29 PM

So let me understand this... John McCain is disavowing Trump's comments and not supporting him for POTUS. It's okay to call your wife a cunt, but the word pussy is over the line. Hypocrite!

    1. Anonymous3:54 PM

1:29 Its not the word pussy that's the problem for me and many others. Saying it is greatly diminishes the real problem.

Trump admits to sexually assaulting women by grabbing them on the crotch. That is wrong on do many levels and is ILLEGAL. Sexual Assault.

To refer to it as lewd behavior or people just being offended by the word pussy is to encourage sexual assault by choosing to not speak the truth about what he is saying.

In other words you are enabling a predator and sending the message that sexual assault is OK.

I suspect that you were trying to be ironic. But be need to be aware of how our words have power and not to give the wrong intention our power.

  40. Anonymous1:37 PM

Here's what I'm worried about: they're going to dump Trump and run Pence for President. Polls show Pence could beat Hillary. The evangelicals and old conservative white people will come out and vote for him. We've got to keep Trump in this race.

    1. Anonymous2:20 PM

He won't be on the ballot, so they'd have to organize their idiots to write him in. Not going to happen - there's not enough time and too much stupidity.

Plus the diehard TrumpChumps are still going to vote for him. Not sure exactly how many of them there are, but at least 20% and maybe as many as 50% of repubs. Without them, they can't beat Hillary.

PLUS Pence is loathsome. He's not going to appeal to independents.

    2. Anonymous2:58 PM

If this had happened in July or August you would certainly have something to worry about. However, at this late date there is no way the GOP can manage to successfully retool a presidential campaign in time for the election.

Some states have already begun voting and Trump is on those ballots. My sister and brother-in-law voted yesterday (for Hillary, of course!). Mail-in ballots have already been printed and distributed.

The deadline for changing ballots in many states has long passed and the only way to make Pence the candidate is to have write-in votes. Some states don't allow write-in votes and many others have complicated rules which would likely eliminate Pence from being a valid candidate.

The RNC may ultimately come up with a plan to replace Trump, but the chances of it succeeding are slim to none. In addition, many Republican voters are going to be very angry, either at Trump for proving beyond a doubt that he's a reprehensible slime, or at the RNC for forcing him out.

    3. Anonymous3:06 PM

Think about it! They aren't going to put Pence in and Trump out! Voting has already started and there would be no time to alter the ballots.

People would have to write the Pence name in when they cast their vote and there isn't enough time to get a full instructional campaign out there to write the name of Pence on the individual ballots!

The Republicans are screwed and they did it to themselves!

Trump will lose and we'll watch Mrs. Clinton become POTUS! Yea! And, thank God!

    4. Anonymous9:25 PM

You forgot one thing...the deplorable who idolize Trump would be mad as hell and would never vote for Pence.

  41. Strange, I couldn't find anything about this at C4P. Wonder why that is?

  42. Anonymous1:39 PM

McCain is disavowing Trump publically (he's currently up for reelection!), but I'll bet he votes for him. Say one thing and do another! A typical McCain (and Palin)! Remember?

  43. Anonymous2:01 PM

John "cunt" McCain has withdrawn his support from Donald "pussy" Trump.

"Sen. John McCain is formally withdrawing his support from Donald Trump.

The Arizona senator and 2008 GOP nominee says in a statement that Trump's newly revealed boasting about groping women "make it impossible" for him to support his party's presidential nominee. Trump has apologized but refused to quit the race.

He says he and his wife Cindy "will not vote for Donald Trump" and will instead write in the name of "some good conservative Republican who is qualified to be president." "

    1. Anonymous5:45 AM

      Well, that is civil Mccain.

  44. Anonymous2:03 PM

    Sooo silent! WHERE'S SARAH'S STATEMENT, DEFENSE, SUPPORT????? Hello? H E L L O O???
    Now why would that be?
Did she sleep with the Orangutan too? Gee that would really make her a monkey's ass.

    1. Anonymous2:32 PM

      Oh CRAP, she replied!

Oh honey, look in the mirror!

    TIC TAC weighed in?
    - - - - -
Now that's interesting about Tic Tac. Wonder what Verizon has to say, with their name splashed across the side of the Bawdy Bus.

  49. Meanwhile. . . NBC has learned the RNC has instructed its minions to remove Trump's name from their phone calling scripts.

    1. Anonymous8:35 PM

So, they've stopped the ad buys, stopped the printing and mailings and Trump's name is being removed from phone solicitations.

Sounds like they're withdrawing all support from Trump and redirecting it to try to salvage as many of the down ticket races as possible.

They're now fundraising only for the RNC.

      I smell an impending lawsuit.

  50. Anonymous3:43 PM

And here I thought I knew bottom-feeding, $arah. Wow. I had no idea.

Oh, and fuck Mitch McConnell AND John McCain.

  51. Anonymous5:21 PM

Melania, darling, we know you married him for his handsome looks, the many words he knows, and that huge bulge in his pants pocket, but stand by your man all you want, he's not a real man in any way shape or form. Now it's just you and me, tell me who you copied that from or who twisted your arm to write it. It'll be our little secret. While we're at it, when was the last time he grabbed your private parts and gave you a breath mint? Spill baby Spill!

Dumb as a box of rocks.

  52. ibwilliamsi6:37 PM

It's easier for Melania to forgive Trump than anyone else. She lives in the lap of luxury at our expense. If she wants to be safe she needs to take a separate vacation from that violent lout beginning 11/9/16 after he loses.

Hopefully she got some decent jewelry out of him (his words not mine) and a favorable pre-nup. Otherwise he'll kick her to the curb just as he as all the rest.

    1. Anonymous5:40 AM

Yes, at public expense. He paid no taxes forever. His water, sewer, security, infrastructure,... should be cut off. We the public are paying for it and have paid for it all these years.

    2. Anonymous5:41 AM

      NY should sue for services.

  53. Anonymous9:23 PM

Pence is back on the campaign schedule for Trump!

  54. Anonymous12:02 AM

Melania has to accept his apology.
    She has no architecture degree
    She has no degree

The only thing she knows what to do is suck dick.

  55. Anonymous5:42 AM

    Melonhead go fy.

  56. Anonymous10:51 AM

The Republicans knew exactly who Trump was and is. They just think he'll take them to the White House, and then they can take back all the nondiscrimination laws against minorities, gays, transgenders, and whoever else the democrats tried to defend in these United States. The Republicans are like Donald. They think with all the hate that he can take them over that line that Hitler's supporters did back in the day. We have 30 some days to see if that pans out for them. Putin, don't forget, is behind most of this. Donald and the Republicans, and their fans are only the puppets. Seriously, folks wake up and smell the vodka.

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
