Pastors try to drum up support for Donald Trump by promising that God is going to whack him once he takes office.

Courtesy of Politicususa:

The idea that maybe God will kill the Republican presidential candidate is one of the most tortured rationalizations one will ever hear for casting a vote for Trump. Evangelicals and Republicans of all varieties are contorting themselves into some very strange positions to justify supporting a man who is an insult to all that they claim to believe.

I am typically NEVER on board with the evangelicals, but if they are encouraging God to smite Trump before he damages the country, I think I could go with that.

Except in MY version of events it happens BEFORE the election, and no way does it involve Mike Pence getting near the White House.

I just wonder how Trump feels about God using him this way?

I think I sense a Twitter rant heading this way.

God has killed millions in his name - oh those lovely bible stories from my youth .... in any event, Trump just wants the title not the job so effectively Pence is president should Trump get elected.

OT but how many months is it since Sarah Palin stopped mentioning Trump? Could it be that she no longer supports him? Could it be that the pond full of numbnuts are so busy promoting him that they haven't realized that Sarah no longer does? What would they do if they found out that she hates him now? Could they even cope?

How would WE cope, totally helpless with laughter for days and days....?

Well, they did despise him until their beloved leader endorsed him, so if she recanted her endorsement, I assume the remaining scum would do whatever they are instructed to do. Good cult members obey their leader.
Speaking of which, where are korn and amazedone1? Anyone notice how MJ shows up when VG does? Hmmmm...

Pinhead, dense pence for president? nope. Both rump and pence should just go back to private life. And ask for forgiveness while confessing their sins.

Add to that list a murderer, an abortionist, and a deceiver. Smashing babies against the rocks really marks a god as pure evil. I think they are really worshiping Satan, tho I don't believe in either.

I could actually see him doing that.......I hope he knows that evangelicals are already kind of crazy though, and when you start suggesting that "God" is going to do something, they do sometimes tend to hear "a booming and authoritative voice" coming from the sky, telling them them that they are his "instrument"!

"Evangelicals... are contorting themselves into some very strange positions to justify..."
that pretty much describes their entire existence.
    Because they believe in nonsense.

I would love to see Hillary call him "King Donald" as often as he uses Crooked Hillary, we know he hates being called Donald. She really needs to start giving the list of horrible laws Pence tried to pass in Indiana...he is a horror. Vote for Donald means Pence runs the country along with all their horrible buddies. The fact is Donald is a major hypocrite shaming women about weight when you look at his body...belly fat? After seeing how destructive Cheney was for the country, I am more worried about Pence.

Really? Pence is the better man? In what bubble? They are both aholes. Wanting to smite just about everyone in their path. Worry about the economy and better opportunity for the citizen and not who gets getting down each other's pants. Geesh. And the way the evangelicals are trying to do it, is called magical thinking. They get Trump in and no one will control him. Especially 3 am in the morning. At night he's at his worst. It's called sundowning in old folks home. Try again folks.

    He's losing the Evangelicals.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/evangelical-leaders-donald-trump_us_57f7b304e4b068ecb5ddc355?1h9tvi1d5lg9o1or&

"Nearly 100 evangelical leaders have signed onto a letter urging their fellow Christians to vote against Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who, they write, “has fueled white American nationalism with xenophobic appeals and religious intolerance at the expense of gospel values, democratic principles, and important international relationships.”

The letter was posted to Change.org on Thursday, and had nearly 5,000 signatures by midday Friday.

The evangelicals behind the letter do not necessarily endorse Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, they write ― but they are united in their opposition to Trump, who is working to maintain the Republican stronghold on the evangelical community.

“Imperfect elections and flawed candidates often make for complicated and difficult choices for Christians,” the letter reads. “But sometimes historic moments arise when more is at stake than partisan politics ― when the meaning and integrity of our faith hangs in the balance. This is one of those moments. "
